| I actually really enjoyed this ep its interesting seeing them in a more normal setting for once and I liked seeing revy just having fun playing with those kids it showed us a completely different side of her. Although the lack of dutch this season makes me sad. I have a feeling this is gonna be my favorite arc of the second season so far. Oh and i'm really glad i'm watching the dub lol. 5/5 |

| Will there actually be romance in this anime!? Never would have thought. ^^ Some of you are complaining about her personality changing a lot, but I see it as character development. When she goes back to battle, she will be back to her evil sadistic ways, trust me. Oh and the ending was so cute... LOL |

| The english was bad, though i heard worse. And for me it was only confusing because of English in the background, Japanese in the foreground and English sub. That everyone is usually speaking some language despite the character not actually knowing that language is a common problem when people are shown to travel to other countries. Unless everyone speaks in the intended language right away, which would be bad for the viewers, there is no way to avoid some trouble within the series. People have to switch to the intended language to show they are not speaking the language of their conversation partner when the later is speaking the language normally used. If everyone continues to speak the language of the viewer, it would be difficult to show that they need someone to translate and don't understand each other. There are some nice posts, blogs etc. out there that explain the possible ways to deal with this kind of situation, but basically, you can't win. The only way to avoid language problems is have everyone speak the same language at all times, but then you can't have situations like this.. Also, i loved Revy. Looking good in that outfit, and that blush.. |
| I'm loving the whole second season so far (more than the first), character development's good and this wasn't dull with it. The English dub is fantastic, they didn't sub the Yakuza speaking in Japanese though. |

| Lol, so that's what Revy's shirt looks like that she bought for Rock, well i guess Benny and Jane are having a long distance relationship, it also seems we got more foreshadowing for Revy's childhood back-story. |

Revy's character was too different, definitely too nice, they went to a festival (wtf?) and just generally it was too much of a departure from the tried and true Black Lagoon formula. Lack of Dutch is definitely a bad thing. Despite all that moaning, I did still enjoy it... ish, and this Yakuza story seems interesting enough. It just seems somewhat fillery. I disagree. I say this fits perfectly with her character. This is the first time we've seen Revy in a situation so drastically different from life in Roanapur. She's often expressed a love/hate relationship with her way of life and it makes sense that she'd act slightly more normal, especially when there's less demand for her to maintain her reputation as a cold blooded killer. |

| good episode - rock doing the translating for the Russian mob, and revy tagging along because she was worried about him (according to benny). it was more a softer side to revy outside her comfort zone of guns and death... i do like how chainsaw "cleaner" chick was seen back to her normal self at the beginning (i quite like her) rock also showed, that it's been a whole year.. he's not killed anyone, but he hasn't left them to go anywhere else either. i think he enjoys their company more than what he probably thinks. (i'd still put a bet on, he watched the whole thing with her and the kids... not just some of it) |

| This seems like it will be a very interesting arc. The English voice acting was terrible. It took me awhile to realize Balalaika was speaking English and not Russian.. My favorite scene was at the end with Revy playing with the kids and toy pistols. |

| Possibly my favorite episode of the show yet. The downtime with the characters was great, particularly Revy with those kids. Showed an entirely different side of her while maintaining good consistency with who she is. |
| i feel the same way about the sudden switch in languages, but I'm watching the dubbed version. Sudden switch to Japanese on some parts, which confused me. other than that, i loved the softer side of Revy. |

| Don't know why there are so many complaints about the Engrish. Best part of this episode, by far. LOL funny! Also, get over the confusion about Revy and others "speaking fluent Japanese." That's because it's a Japanese show, duh. There are only a few hundred shows/movies set in foreign countries where everyone magically "speaks fluent English." Or heck, think of the anime "Monster." The entire thing takes place in Germany and the Czech Republic with almost all German and Czech characters, yet everyone seems to be "speaking fluent Japanese." This is pretty much the same deal. |

When Revy scoffed when Rock said no one was home...maybe it was something she did in relief because she doesn't actually want him to leave? Probably not but i just need a lil wind for my ship's sails you know? |

| I really, really loved this episode. Just because it's so interesting to see Revy in a completely normal environment...and also because she looked cute in more conservative clothes. That scene where she was playing with those kids was cute too. She's also questioning why Rock won't just stay in Japan, but she should really be questioning why she won't leave Japan without him. I don't quite know the nature of her feelings for him, but Revy feels something towards Rock...that much is paramount by now. Wonder where this arc is gonna go now! |

| I guess it's not a bad episode after all. For me, I'm surprised that Rock went back to Japan and he even brought Revy with him. Balalaika looks so cool when she closed he phone and we saw what will happen if she'll get mad. I have a bad feeling when Revy is playing with kids, is that a premonition of what will happen next? Revy is nice in this episode too. |

| A for effort with the English although if I never have to listen to it again, it will be too soon. Wonder if Rock has any other underlining reasons why he refuses to return to his home, bar the obvious ones we already know about, seems so. Looking forward to how this all plays out, arc is intriguing for the most part right now. |
| This was actually one of my favorite episodes yet. The action can be fun, but I prefer the more character-driven episodes. Revy was pretty cute in that coat, and I liked the scene where she played with those kids. Some bits of this arc have been spoiled for me already, but nothing about Rock's parents. Hopefully there's some kind of interesting reveal. I have a bad feeling about this arc. Modern-day Japan is such a peaceful place when compared to Roanapur. Just goes to show how fragile life can be. |
