| Holy fuck, I don't even know what to say, all I know is Osanai is scares me, but man is she cute. There are some people who guessed Osanai did all this just so Isawa gets a heavier sentence, props to you all. On that note, Jesus Christ, Osanai. Osanai just enjoying that parfait while Kobato was out here stressing (probably enjoying it) is crazy. Definitely felt the aura around Osanai change when she finished that parfait lmao. Immediately realized it was Sanae when Kobato said Osanai had an insider, damn, everyone was basically in the hands of Osanai, including the Milk Carton Criminal. Fuck, I hope we get more seasons so bad. |

| Boy, how simple can be a whole episode being scened with them in the same room, chatting. Nevertheless this was by far the best anime episode I’ve seen this year so far. Very intriguing and articulated yet funny anda kawaii. This show will probably be getting a rate 10 from myself (I only rate’m after finish watching). Lovin’it! π |

| I kinda feel sorry for all those people complaining about the show being only about characters going around and eating sweets and dropping the show because of that. Mystery needs time to develop so it was obvious that there's either something bigger going on in the background, hidden behind all those silly sweets-related mystery solving or... it will really just be slice of life series with characters playing detectives to solve silly mysteries. I wasn't 100% on this but the former had way higher probability of being true than the latter. Osanai was suspicious to me every since her revenge for stealing her bike and even more so after she roped MC into their summer sweet journey (which IMO she also did purposely). Man, I just love when episodes themselves are little puzzles on their own that eventually come together as a bigger puzzle. It's so satisfying. |

Isawa will find out she was framed, so who will she blame? - Osanai. So, you either pray Isawa rehabilitates in prison, or constantly watch your back after 5-15 years since Isawa may be there ready to stab you to death in revenge. With the tape recorder used for the ransom call and the discussion they had about the infeasibility of sneaking a long text, the show very clearly implies that Osanai did these things BEFORE her kidnapping. Since she knew when it was going to happen and where she was being taken, she made the ransom call and texted Kobato before she was even kidnapped. She had the bag featuring that voice changer already with her and thus it was left in the backseat. This also explains why the girls had seemingly only just started berating Osanai when Kobato got there, rather than having lots of time between the ransom call and his arrival. |

| Damn, that twist in the end! Staging one's own kidnapping to make sure she got hold of everyone is an insane scheme, and she was leading our main character to the truth too, that's boss level stuff, yo. Definitely one of the better episodes of the series, imo. There were a couple other simply dialogue heavy mysteries in previous episodes and I found them to be the weakest of the series thus far but this one turned it around. Curious to see what the next and final episode will be about ~ |

| Absorbing episode, even when the two of them are sitting at a table and talking the whole way through. While interesting, I'm finding myself liking Osanai less now, with her blatant, premeditated manipulation of Kobato, her nonchalant attitude towards Kobato's accusations and hurt feelings, her audacity to tear up about her situation and her smug look when she revealed her plan. I can't imagine liking any outcome other than Kobato just walking away from Osanai, but I'm still interested to see where the show takes these two. |

| Kobato: "Was being caught part of your plan?" Osanai: "Of course." The book this episode was based on was first published in 2006. Interesting that the author of Hyouka managed to write into his book a plot point of a major character getting captured on purpose before The Dark Knight made it trendy in mainstream media. |
| Didn't really like it myself, I'm not exactly perceptive but the way they framed the plot I'd already guessed the 'reveals'. |

| @Ckea I know that's probably his most iconic line from the show, but Sherlock really does display way more symptoms of psychopathy than sociopathy. Whether that line is bad writing or something Sherlock knows isn't true but uses as an excuse for his behaviour could be debated. By the same token Yuki and Jougorou's behaviour is even more pyschopathic than Sherlock's is, in particular their whole pretending to be ordinary act. But then again when most writers are writing characters with antisocial personality disorders I don't think they're always focused on making sure they fit neatly into a certain diagnosis. |
| I can't believe the heroine would be so psychotic... Good luck MC, taming that wild beast. Whether it's a crime or not. It's rather evil. The MC is more likely a detective freak, not a psychopath like the girl. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
