Yeah, the con experience is still fun. I still enjoy seeing a lot of people show up for AX, and the vibe of it. There's a lot of energy and it's cool to see younger people get that big anime con experience. Anime has gotten almost mainstream now. Like all things when they get to mainstream, it's good and bad. I'm glad more people are interested in the medium though. It could just mean better quality in the work itself.

Ah, yes. That's a good one, if you're into more mature anime. It's a slow burn, but it is a quality series of episodes. If I remember correctly, I believe the first episode was the best one.

I've been to every AX since 2014, aside from COVID shut downs. It's a different experience, now that I'm older, but it has still been a good time for me. I'm fairly close to LA, so I can make it a pretty inexpensive event, if I want to. I have much more disposable income now, compared to when I was just working part-time in college, so it's nice to visit nicer food options while I'm in town for it. Cons have somewhat lost their appeal, since I'm not as big into anime like I once was. I don't buy merch, or spend money at AA, so it's not as exciting to pass through those areas. Panels feel a bit less special, since I doubt I'm going to ever experience huge events, like the Kimi No Na Wa world premier with Makoto Shinkai panel, again. Most of the panels seem to just be generic industry, or watching anime like one week early.
