| This episode was too good. They're really good at capturing how 4 y/os act. Miri doesn't have the capability of explaining what truly happened since she's so little, but it would've made things so much easier. She's such a sweet kid for someone who had a mom that hated her. The future Miri was funny to watch, def would watch a spinoff series if they were to make one. The future Kauzuki was wearing the same red hoodie too lmao |

The trip was so fun!" even though she had been a little upset with Kazuki the day before. I felt like, even though Miri might not know how Kazuki's effort to give her the bento and also protect her from the thief, but seeing Miri who hugged him immediately after returning from the trip touched me. That kind of act really shows how much Miri loves Kazuki compared to her saying "I love Papa" ;") Thank you Pyon and Paca for saving the kids ♡ |

| Kazuki Papa being the over protective and paranoid dad reminds me of Kakushi Gotou haha. Also, Rei's little grin looking at Kazuki when Miri said, I love Rei Papa. The man's super cute in his own way. Good episode overall. |
| Oh, did I mention the superb casting though. Toshhi is practically carrying the show with his acting as Kazuki. Uchhi as always great at these kind of roles. And I've always been a fan of their chemistry on and off screen. ❤️ |

| You have to be pretty ruthless and also stupid to threaten children and point a real looking gun at them at a public place in broad daylight. Was pretty surprised to see another Ashita no Joe reference. Bocchi also had one. Did some research and discovered that it's somewhat of a tradition to reference that exact frame in anime and maybe in manga too(?) |

| What an amazing episode. My daughter, Miri is a good girl. She's the best. Kazuki Papa and Rei Papa were again looking out for her. And, she made up with Taiga as well but they never fought to begin with. Also, Kazuki being a great dad was awesome to see. Grown-up Miri calling Kazuki old was funny. I absolutely adore this show. |

| Great episode! Some of the comedy made me laugh a little. Kazuki is really annoying sometimes, his imagination are wild! It's funny when Kazuki saying our gene.... Sound g*y. Hahaha. |

| lol the adolescent delinquent Miri part was gold, the parents better do their best to avoid such a future there's a field trip to the zoo next day (why on a weekend?) seems like Miri hit another kid? i don't believe that lol well seems like it's true, someone was being mean, but Miri left without explaining anything else lol PAPA DAI KIRAI the next day, Miri still hating on papa, even tho he tried his best to make her a nice lunch Miri went out with Rei, leaving Kazuki crying and thinking about delinquent Miri again lols baka papa didn't give the lunch box to Miri, so he had to go to the Zoo, even tho it was agains't the rules... well, as long as they don't notice him... Rei will also needed to go the kids were having fun looking and even touching the animals, until that Taiga boy got on Miri's nerves again Taiga left alone, and Miri followed him, and the other 2 as well... they all got lost together then lol Kazuki spoted Miri with Taiga, and ofc, he would think they are a couple (yay for more teenage Miri)... and he made a fool out of himself by screaming lol there was this other man outside hiding from the police, he looks like an older Taiga, inb4 it's his dad Kazuki tailing Miri by crawling on the floor lmao what an idiot, Miri almost caught them... twice the bad guy tried to steal food from the shop, but Miri stopped him, what a hero lols there's a mario kart ride, and Taiga and Miri talk about Rei, lol Kazuki is jealous the couple are having a lot of fun, but the other 2 girls are super scared it's time for lunch, and Miri still didn't get hers... so the others gave her a bit of theirs Taiga also apologized for taking their food (so that's what happened) the bad guy is back for a revenge on Miri after she stopped him earlier Taiga saved her but got caught instead, Miri telling the bad guy he is being mean lols holy shit did he just point a gun at her? geez this guy... papas are here to save the day, and they easily defeated the guy... the gun was a toy, ok then after some nice words from the kids, the 2 left ... LOL i'm waiting for Rei to say paca while at home the teacher finally came and they all got happy together back at home, Miri is not mad at Kazuki anymore, yay well, the teacher also told them that Miri didn't really fight with Taiga, so Kazuki hugged her, lol that's cute |

| Half way through now, I was confident on episode 1 how much I liked this but it’s increased even further beyond since then, this is such a joyous and fun watch, and can’t forget cute thanks to Miri and her friends. This was an awesome episode as well, the dads spying on Miri at the zoo enhanced everything happening between the kids, and the two of them dressed as a rabbit and alpaca kicking ass was hilarious lol, when Kazuki broke the toy gun the bad guy had it reminded me of a scene from Short Circuit when Johnny 5 broke an actual gun and said “play dough” lmao. And looks like Kazuki ended up winning Miri back over in the end which was really sweet, and Rei won a lot of points with Miri over “Morio Kart” lol. Miri and Taiga were really wholesome together, I was expecting a mean kid but that was only at first thankfully. Also loved the future Miri imaginations from Kazuki lol. And I can’t deny it, I’m in love in Anna Sensei lol, I need more of her and more like her. |

| Kazuki's imaginings of a delinquent teenage Miri cracked me up every single time. ("We're, like, head-over-heels and shit.") I'm almost tempted to say I wouldn't mind an alternative version of the show about that. Also, I really appreciate the comedy of this series. Maybe that's a result of "Cool Doji Danshi" that's got me appreciating this, but the big reason why I wasn't into "Cool Doji Danshi" was because so many jokes in that series (if not all of them) was always explained by a character on why it was supposed to be funny, which was unnecessary and made what happened not funny as a result. And I've noticed with "Buddy Daddies" that there are instances where there is a joke, but this series trusts its audience to get the joke without honing in on it to make sure - such as in this episode with Kazuki commenting that there are shifty people in the zoo and Rei gives him a judgmental side-eye because he's one of the shifty people. A lesser comedy series would've had Rei making a remark like "you're one to talk" or something to point that out, but all there is is him quietly looking at Kazuki before the scene moves on. (Another instance was in an earlier episode where Rei is walking off because he doesn't want to join Kazuki on finding a daycare for Miri and then that scene ends and the next scene immediately focuses on him grumpily sitting next to Kazuki.) It's the little details. |
