List Notes:
- Ratings are sort of a mix of quality and enjoyment. I'll hopefully be able to refine the system someday.
- If you're wondering why my ratings are pretty low compared to most other "new" anime fans, I just haven't come across many anime/manga I believe are 8 or higher.
- I usually watch dub but am not above watching sub also.
- Favorite characters are (currently) #11-20.

Character gets violated? Is my memory really that terrible, because I don't remember anything like that happening at-all, LOL. As for VAs, I've never really looked into who's voicing the characters. (Just checked and apparently Sakamoto is Matt Mercer? Man, I'm surprised I didn't clock that immediately, LOL.) Regardless, things like that don't really effect my scores anyway. Panty & Stocking's dub, for example, is led by Monica Rial and Jamie Marchi, and yet I still gave it a 9/10 despite how much I believe that they're both genuinely awful people. And Reigen is by-far my favorite character that ONE has ever created, and you know how much I dislike Chris Niosi. And if fictional characters being violated was enough for me to automatically give a series a 1/10, Steel Ball Run wouldn't be my favorite comicbook of all-time, and Kick-Ass wouldn't be my favorite movie of all-time, LOL. XD
My 1/10 score for Sakamoto Days mainly comes down to three factors. Firstly, I rank series comparatively and usually tend to rank series the second that I've fully caught-up with them. When compared to, say, all 39 episodes of Diamond is Unbreakable, a single episode of a show isn't usually gonna score above a 1 or a 2 unless it's, like, a REALLY good episode. It's the same reason that I scored Ya Boy Kongming! a 1/10 after episode 1's dub released, and my score gradually increased as I kept watching every week. I suspect the same thing may happen for Sakamoto Days, but it's still a bit too early for me to tell. :P
Secondly, I tend to be quite a harsh critic, or so I've been told. Even series I like can struggle to score above a 6/10, so a single episode of a series I don't really care about one way or the other is quite unlikely to score highly anyway, even if I hadn't seen so much other shows to compare it to. I actually thought I was quite generous not tagging Sakamoto Days "0/10" on my list, LMAO. XD
Lastly, and I know this is incredibly subjective and very "YMMV", but I just didn't find the first episode of Sakamoto Days funny, like, whatsoever. I rolled my eyes when they revealed that Shin was clairvoyant because I instantly expected Sakamoto Days to butcher the execution in much the same way that SPYxFAMILY did (IMO), which is to say that despite being able to read minds, the narrative uses this for neither the plot nor the jokes. Like, when Sakamoto hands him the apron at the end of episode 1, why would a mind-reader even need to question its purpose? Surely he'd instantly know why Sakamoto gave him the apron, and would either agree to work at his shop, or would make some funny quip about it? Very nitpicky, I'm aware, but in-general I think that mind-reading characters in comedy series are almost always horribly written, and this one doesn't look like it'll be the exception. Of course, it is still very early days, I'm more than willing to give Sakamoto Days a chance to win me over. (If I wasn't, I would've dropped it already, LOL.) :3
True, lol. It wouldn't take too long if someone visited my Animeplanet profile (where you get infinite favorites), for example, before someone saw a complete POS character in my favorites list! X'D
I guess I tend to enjoy morally-dubious/outright evil characters, so long as I find they're written well. Funnily enough, if I find a character to be like that when it's clear that moral-ambiguity wasn't the writer's intention, I usually tend to hate them a lot more, lol. (Such-as basically all of the "protagonists" from Chainsaw Man, Leone Abbacchio or Katsuki Bakugo, for example.)
There are only, like, 3 anime characters I can think of who I dislike for reasons that the author clearly intended me to dislike them for. There's Kotaro from My Hero Academia, the bully from JoJo part 9 and Oleana from Pokémon (granted, most of my hatred of Oleana comes down to that I find her and the rest of her teammates to be really boring, lol).
Yeah, I totally get that. I know that moment understandably soured a lotta people's opinion of him. To me, he was a total piece-of-shit right from chapter 1, and that's why I - well, "like" probably wouldn't be the right word; he's certainly not very likeable, LMAO - enjoy him.
Plus his dialogue consistently makes me laugh, so there's that, I suppose. Have you gotten to the chapter where he rants about spoiled milk, yet? I swear, that's gotta be, like, top 3 funniest JoJo moments, IMO
For gamers of all ages, Geometry Dash Lite is a must-try because it provides the ideal balance of difficulty, Geometry Dash Lite pleasure, and music. Explore the realm of rhythmic accuracy, try your timing, and see how far you can push your cube on this exhilarating adventure!
I think the constant back-and-forth Stand rushes of Stardust Crusaders's final arc or STONE OCEAN's SEE MOON arc are probably my overall favorites. For more "individual" beatdowns specifically, Cioccolata, Pesci and Miraschon are pretty good shouts, as is the Ghiaccio beatdown after the piano drops in il vento d'oro, although I'd probably have to give it to the final blow of STONE OCEAN, due to how much I love the Maiden Heaven arc and everything that lead up to that moment. (And as much as I hated the Requiem arc, I will gladly admit there is something quite satisfying about Diavolo's beatdown.)
Nice nice, these mariachi bands look like a vibe.
Well, at least if someone decides to change their major into a different kind of musical one then they don't have to look long hshs.
