Yeah, this episode was incredible. Extremely heartwarming. Honestly, the series should have ended right here. Would have been perfect.

I appreciate that the show didn't paint the VP as a villain. After all, he's looking out for the demi-chans in his own way. Sure, he may have been a little harsh at first, but it all ended up working out in the end. And now the demi-chans and other students are all interacting with one another, and they aren't afraid to bring attention to their unique traits when they're around the other students. Speaking of which, the other students are very thoughtful and mature. Props to them.

Anyway, great episode.

The beginning of this episode worried me, it seemed the animation skipped a little bit when Takahashi was in his chair one second, then basically face to face with the Demi's in the next scene. Didn't seem too fluent animation wise, then there was a scene where Hikari basically had no face at all. So before the opening I was going into this episode with a little worry...not to mention last week the Vice Principal was sort of a Mean guy.

First off the animation got way better after the opening. The direction and story were all really fantastic.

Man It was cool to get the other students point of view towards the Demi's. The zoom up's on these characters and some of the faces they made were gold! I liked the Black hair'd chicks reaction to consoling the Demi's as well. That was really thought out and showed how reliable Takahashi really is.

That video was super super sweet...I'd be lying if I said it didn't get me a little teary eyed.

Yo Sakie asking Takahashi out for drinks though!!!! LETS GO SATOU X TAKAHASHI!!!!!

Hikari is awesome, I loved the head pat on Takahashi lol.

The Vice Principal ended up being somewhat reasonable, I saw his points but he also saw the results as well. The Drama caused by him was not too crazy which really helped this episode a lot.

One of my favorite episodes of the Winter Season. Very Well done.

This episode was absolutely beautiful. This show is hands down my favourite of this season. It's light-hearted, funny but manages to still have some emotional moments that aren't too heavy.

I wasn't worried that the issue presented in this episode would be an extremely serious one, as it wouldn't fit the theme of the show. The vice principal's concerns were valid and it did allow for great character development all round.

We all know the girls appreciate everything Takahashi does for them and it was very touching to see the demis expressing their gratitude. It's also great to see them interacting with the other students who obviously have been influenced by Takahashi's example.

How cute was Sakki asking Takahashi out for drinks? Also, I think there's a new ship setting sail: Yuki x Satake! I don't mind a nice, laid back episode to end this series and will miss it dearly.

I really like all the characters in this show, but Hikari edges out all of them as my standout. She's messes around a lot and is a goofball but has great depth of character. And seriously, how adorable is she?

By far the best episode :D

I kinda expected them to dwell into the issue that Takahashi sensei focuses a more of his attention on the demis than the regular students. The vice principal did have a point. It was nice to see the other students wanting to learn more about the demis as well. Really good point brought up by one of the students on treating the demis as demis and not as regular students. Sattake's delusions are the best tho hahaha xD
That video message from the demis to help Takahashi-sensei was really nice. I love the chemistry between Hikari and Sensei. That scene in the beach was beautiful <3
This was such a heartwarming episode. Last episode next week. I'm gonna miss this show so much T_T

I felt that the anime ended with this ep. Same feeling as with Urara Meirochou ep 11. Even the next episode is a swimming ep. Lel

Anyway, I knew it that the vice principal would be trouble. But he has a point tho.

Good thing Hikari goes to the rescue.

Manly tears were shed. Especially during the video scene.

This is the best written, directed, and animated episode of this series, and one of my favorite episodes from this season as a whole. I was terrified that the vice principal would be portrayed as a boring and unnecessary villain, but instead he ends up being a very smart and understanding person that helps to trigger the small moments of character development throughout the episode. There was a lot of awesome directing and editing moments throughout, like when Takahashi was reflecting on what the vice principal said and he was surrounded by mirrors with the Demi's and others. It visually conveys the separation and isolation he feels from the Demi's at that moment, while also creating a reflective tone because of the mirrors. This episode also had some incredible character animation, with lots of subtle movements conveying the characters thoughts and feelings throughout. And I must say that I adore the facial expressions of this show, and they make the already super memorable character designs even more endearing and lovable. I'll be sad to see this one go next week.

This is perfect brief...that video was incredibly long shot and if the acting had got screwed anywhere it would have lost it's charm. The creators did a brilliant job here.

I enjoyed the ep of Demi as I did all the others but when I look back on the manga the VP never really had an appearance nor did he (to the translated point) say anything of the like of which has been said nor has there been this drama.. In fact the stuff he said in the machi episode he never said he was only mentioned in a 'damn guy makes me carry all the heavy stuff' after thought .. So is this anime original? (Im curious if so and if so how much does that harm the chance for an s2)

This definitely felt a lot like a final episode, so it's interesting that there's still one more to go. That aside, this was definitely good, especially as the stuff with the Vice Principal wasn't quite what I expected, and it was definitely better that he was a reasonable guy with entirely valid concerns rather than what I thought it might be instead.

I doubt it. I cried like a little baby especially during the video scene and later when Hikari showed up on the beach.

And I also agree with others that this does feel like a final episode. I hope there will be second season announced soon.

Like all other episodes so far, it's all based on the manga chapters with some added scenes in between to bridge things, some extended scenes or slight change to scenes. Like adding a scene with the VP last episode to foreshadow his appearence on this one.

This episode was an adaptation of chapters 29-30, the last two of volume 4. The anime added a scene in the middle to bridge two things that weren't in the manga. In manga you had the scene where Takahashi says he is busy to the girls, one small 4-koma just to show Hikari learned what happened from Satake, and then jump to Takahashi on the beach thinking and then getting the video. The demis discussing about what happened, Hikari looking around for Sakie, and then they with Sakie thinking if they can do something for him was anime original.

This is my favorite non-sequel anime series in legitimately five years. They're all so great, every girl could be best girl of so many other shows, especially the succubus, but Hikari is such a hall-of-fame level best girl that the rest of them just have to sit on the sidelines. And Iron Man, he's the thirty year old biology teacher I aspire to be in *checks watch* well, I don't have a ton of time, but that's beside the point.

10/10 show.

If it wasn't the girls, it would be so much harder for Takahashi.

Thanks to this little "issue" they now have even more friends.

Can't believe we have only 1 episode left :( This was probably one if the best season, i absolutely loved it.
After the last episode i will read the manga but i hope for a good ending, in both anime and manga.

@dr4chen Welp, looks like we sorta guessed right for the most part with regard to the content of this ep, though I'm grateful that we weren't completely correct. I think the conflict this episode was just the right amount to not seem overdone or lackluster, and just like we hoped, it was reserved for only a single ep, and tbh that's really all it needed. This was a very heartwarming episode.
I'm glad that I read into the VP's personality too much. I had expected him to be immoral or sneaky, but I'm glad it ended up just being that he was passionate and legitimately concerned for the demis' wellbeing.

Really nice to see how Takahashi influenced others to consider the demis' situation more, and very heartwarming to see how happy everyone was to thank him for all his kind and hard work.

This episode was particularly a great one for me, on the level of the first episode with how it addresses some sort of social etiquette and brings up questions that are well thought out. Ep 1 made us consider whether ignoring the differences between demis and humans was correct or not, and this ep readdressed the issue and provided more insight that I can only say was developed very well throughout the course of the season.

Gomen Mr Vice Principal, I misunderstood you >_<, I will shorten your name to MVP! Great job bringing about this glorious episode

@gust11 Whew, few times have I been so happy to be wrong. The possibility that the vice principal was just trying to help honestly did elude me, and him being able to understand the merit of Takahashi-sensei's effort really made it for me. The beach scene, notably with the video and Hikari's subsequent "thank you" honestly got me tearing up a bit. Heartwarming to the extreme.

My only issue with the episode is that it ended up feeling like a strong conclusion to the season (or series).

Probably my favorite episode for this anime.
I love how the problem was presented.
Love the dialogues showing the points of view from different characters (Vice Principal, Sensei, Demis, the Normal Students), which I believe are actually correct in their respective approach.
The conclusion to the episode was very satisfying.

Yeah, honestly I read into what situation was likely to occur but was overthinking things with the VP, glad it wasn't bad though, and it was indeed nice to see Takahashi's work getting the praise it deserves. Ikr, the beach scene had me tearing up too, I was so happy that Takahashi had managed to help these girls so much, and Hikari's surprise message was super sweet.

I can definitely understand that, it seems like such a fitting topic to end the series with, coming full circle with the ideas introduced originally and with the improvement of everyone's relationship to each other. I'm not sure what to expect next week but I still hold out hope of an ova confirmation or something. It would please me a lot

Dang, that an amazing episode! I can definitely see both sides, with the Vice Principal just wanting the Demis to be able to get help from other people, but Takahashi setting a good example is of course also good. I think it was nice they included some other students in this as well, showing them taking the initiative (maybe? :O) to interact with the Demis more. The video message was super cute, and that last bit with Hikari was so heartwarming. Takahashi was definitely super touched :') Definitely had a "last episode" feel to it, but looks like we're gonna end with a happy beach episode! That should be fun :D

The other students finally get a chance to shine slightly, and it's only 11 episodes in. Essentially everyone in the school now realizes the demi-humans rely on their sensei a lot, but that ain't a problem. That video was quite nice and I enjoyed this episode a lot. This was great. AND WE GET A POOL EPISODE FOR THE FINALEEEEEEEEEEEEEE... because... reasons... This episode could have easily been the last episode but the fanservice route is necessary for anime I guess. I'm not complaining though.

Also when sensei shut the door on the demis thinking he was getting too involved, just watching that hurt me, and I felt like it hurt him too. Like I could feel his pain.

Storytelling you can find a new topic to continue the story without boring and open new narrative possibilities. I appreciated the fact that the authors, have not exaggerated during the most dramatic moments, with the melodrama. The only flaw, found in this episode, is the quality of the drawings, it is not always excellent in every context.

So... it seems this is it. The end where all knowledge about demis culminate, led them to have "normal" school life, mostly thanks to Sensei & VP (without VP's interruption we will never have this heartwarming ep. nor forcing the other students to act, so let's never forget the importance of his brief role)

All good things must end, sadly.

Great episode, not too fond of the fact another one is coming and from the looks of it with fanservice. Fucking Christ, they should've just ended this here on a perfect note without trying to ramp up interest from teenage boys wishing to see semi-naked demis.

What was so refreshing about this was that it dealt with everything maturely and realistically compared to similar shows. The sensei was NOT a harem protagonist but an educator at heart and a great mentor for the girls, someone worth trusting in. This is why the idea of having a sudden bikini fest doesn't sit right with me.

I had this same thought. But then I remembered what Sakke said about the VP. "He's a little strict, but he has a passion for education." They didn't make him a bad guy, he was just someone who was worried about the effect on all the students if Sensei continued to focus so much on the Demi's.

I honestly believe this show is a master piece of High school realism. Everyone, teachers and students react so realistically to the problems at hand.

This episode might have been the strongest of the series, and probably ranks pretty high on my list of single best episodes of any show ever.
