Hello There! Randomly Passing By!

"Say what you will about the effectiveness of any rating system where the ratings are inherently subjective, but if there's one thing I've noticed about the rating system on MAL, it's that generally shows rated less than 7 tend to be bad by popular opinion. And yet a show has to be pretty damn magical to get over ~8.5 on the community level around here."

Old forum comment from you. I'm not sure it works like that anymore, it seems nowadays there's a new superhyped show every season that breaks into the top 10 rated anime of all time every so often (until people not into the hype watch it later and makes the rating go down somewhat).
Either anime quality keeps increasing by a hundredfold every season or times have changed.

Ahh, I see.
Yup, drummer/percussionist. I want to try out sometime in the future, but I just don't know when. Right now I'm focusing on my auditions for next semester and just college in general. Time and money are the biggest constraints right now for me.

When you do watch it, trust me, it will go by quickly! It's the kind of show you could actually watch in 1 or 2 days because it's just 11 episodes and you'll find yourself wanting to see more and more.

lol thank you, the only thing left is to finish writing/editing the whole thing but my avoidance is really really awful. I went from going "I'll finish this page and then take a break and watch an episode" to "I've written a paragraph, that was SO MUCH WORK I better take an anime break" to "This is a sentence, it begins with a capital letter and has a period, better reward myself with binge-watching a show" ~(>_<。)\)

hey, I've seen you around the forums and I always recognize your Hachiken icon. I wanted to recommend Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, I think you would really like it based on your favorites.

No Problem mate, and definitely let me know when you get to it your impressions of True Tears. I think it will provide a great ride for you.

Nice review of White Album two, considering it's your first review on the site.

I also finished white album in two nights, I probably could have finished it all in one night but I wanted to digest what I had already seen. It's funny because the episode I ended the first night was the one right before the festival and it wasn't until after the festival episode that I think the show kinda of went downhill for me. So I had a great first impression of the anime and then a bad impression of that second half.

Maybe you had the same experience? But anyway, if you liked white album, I recommend the anime called "True Tears" to you, I haven't seen it in a few years but it is a really strong and emotional anime. Great soundtrack with it too
It’s time to ditch the text file.
