Hello, my name is Foxyclaws and I prefer manga over anime (I generally prefer reading over watching stuff).
I´m always looking for new manga to read, so if you have a recommendation please let me know. Just don´t recommend me depressing stuff. I understand that your Oyasumi Punpuns and Monsters are great, but I´m already depressed enough even without them, thanks.
I like
Themes and genres: Shounen, BL, Iyashikei, Action, Adventure, Comedy, Mystery, Survival
Gender Bender (Magical Sex Shift and Crossdressing), Villainess (my guilty pleasures)
Other stuff: Foxes, Cats, Games, Naps, Rain
I dislike
Themes and genres: Sports, Mecha, Samurai, Isekai
Tropes, Big Age Difference Between Characters in Romantic Relationship, Harem Endings
Other stuff: Most People, Commercials, Loud Noises, Insects
I will not accept friend requests without an accompanying message, especially from so called "friend collectors". Don´t get me wrong, I like to accept friend requests, but I want to chat with my friends, exchange recommendations and stuff like that.

It's always a bit scary when you have to suggest something to anyone who has read/watched a ton of things, so I get it :D Even for my recipient, he had read all of my first ideas so I had to dig to find something, haha. But every time, I always appreciate the effort of someone looking to make me happy and I wish I make someone happy too :)
I hope you got some nice gifts too!
Thank you so much for your gift this year! First of all, I have to say this was probably my best gift out of the 3 times I have joined this event! Your letter was so thoughtful and long, which is always something I appreciate extra! I could see you really tried to give me good recs and you sold everything to me! I managed to finish everything before the reveal, because I wanted to give a round-up for all :D
Pandemonium was a surprise for me, because I did not expect to like it as much as I did. The story had a lot of holes here and there, but the whole vibe and the art/coloring really made it stand out. Also, seeing characters so obsessed, but also multifaceted really surprised me.
The Bookstore was a manga I knew from my friend, but hadn't read and I'm glad I did! Sometimes I kinda wanted to slap them for being so shoujo-esque, but the tranquil feeling I got from it was great. Especially at the end when she just had this realization of being so happy just made me feel warm inside <3
Love Roma was also a surprise. The art was definitely not up to par with the work, but art was never a thing I cared much about, haha. I would put this as the 3rd on the list, mostly because the quirks of each chara can get a bit tiring after a while. But you were right, they actually had a growing relationship and it was refreshing that they talked about all kinds of relationships stages and issues and managing to overcome them one way or another.
All in all, a very successful gift for me! Again, thank you for your thoughtfulness and effort <3 I hope your gift has been as exciting as mine and you had great holidays! Cheers!
PS: You live in Slovakia! I live kinda near you in Czechia :D This pairing was meant to be!
And thank you very much for the birthday wish!!! Hope you're doing well!
I don't have much aversion to BL, did check out some Doujins since I was curious but have not been proactively watching them either. But I plan to watch Given and Banana Fish since my friend recommended saying they were good.
I'll check Kieta Hatsukoi, atleast the first two volumes for the event too.
I have heard the same thing about Onanie master kurosawa from a YouTube channel and been meaning to read it, it's short so will check it out soon, thanks.
I've been meaning to start The 20th Century Boys and Oyasumi Punpun and complete them before the summer ends, since they're completed and hears great things from various sources, have you read them? What do you think about them, without spoilers would be great especially for Punpun.
I'm glad you gave it a read and expressed your honest opinion on it. I think there isn't a series that is liked by everyone so differences aren't to fight over but a way to understand others. Thanks for remembering and letting me know.
As for your recommendations, I'm at vol 9 of Black Cat, almost halfway there, but haven't gotten to reading it since Feb, but will complete it once it sparks my interest again.
For the manga reading challenge, do you mean the one that expires on 31st May? Ive checked some mangas out for the limited-time badge myself. Ive only checked out three new series because of it, but i liked Rebuild World a lot. If you're into Action/Sci-fi I think it'll be a good read. The art is pretty detailed and cool.
