| That feel when you know you'll never experience a show this good in a long time, if not ever again :( Fucking amazing show, beautiful art work, AMAZING SOUNDTRACK and one of the most original/unique yet enjoyable anime out there right now. Story writing can not get any better than this. This truly is a work of art. A masterpiece in other words. I am so glad I watched this, defintley going to rewatch this sometime later in the future. |

| MAN! What a finale! This was such a great way to wrap up all of the events of the show. It encapsulated everything that happened in the previous episodes while not retreading too much of the same ground... with a powerful and exciting climax that takes us to a happy, yet fulfilling conclusion. 9/10 for me, definitely. |

| Good watch. Crazy, artistic but I enjoyed it a lot. I probably didn't get many things here but whatever, too elistist for me to call it a masterpiece but it was worth the time for sure. |

| Last two episodes were great. There are many times we believe our life could've been better if we made a different decision. We should never regret the choices we make and be happy with what we have. Always move forward and keep making the best out of things. This is the message I got from this anime. "Nothing else is as boring to tell as a story of successful love". Really loved that line. It's so true. Overall I give it an 8/10. I watched it because it was the done by the same creator as Ping Pong. While I didn't like it as much as Ping Pong I still really enjoyed it and think the overall message was great. |

| That was a very satisfying ending. Funny how the duo had swapped roles! Such a weird an intriguing anime. Definitely had a lot of fun with it. For now a 9/10 |

| That's how i see it. Watashi just was never content with his life even though he actually lived life back then (all the clubs he went in). He thought about a perfect rose-coloured life that does not actually exist. He broke out of this mindset in this last episode. He also didn't see Ozu as the evil, he saw him as friend (friends all along - black thread of fate), he never realised it before. Akashi's last mochiguman represents Watashi himself and he literally grabbed himself at the end, he was being himself. Great anime, loved how it made me think. Episode 10 basically was a simple explanation only done in a veeeery artistic way. 9/10 |

| Last 2 episodes were really good. Always love it when a character tries to find happiness through all the craziness in their world. Props for not showing some lame montage of Watashi and Akashi being a couple. |

I'm gonna miss watching this anime, even though I just watched it all in 2 days, I want more of it, and that's always a good thing, that's when you know an anime has done something right. |

| Ozu's "real" face... it's so cute. I always knew that it was Watashi's perception of him that was making him seem like a devil, when objectively he was just a normal guy, and even a good friend. I really liked his character, for some reason. Ozu has a wicked thing about him, but he isn't bad (as we've actually seen in these last two episodes). I liked Akashi very much, as well as her screams whenever she saw moths, hahaha. Overall, 8/10. |

| So this is the last episode , what an original/new anime experience . Here is my short review : First of all i will divide it into 7 sections and a bonus 8th one . 1) Animation : this is one of the best sections for this anime , Tatami Galaxy imo had one of the best animation of any anime ( a little bit lower than AoT ) when i saw every episode from 1 to 11 , i have noticed that the animation level in this anime is very high (example: the steam and the water , the movements , the fan lol ) 10/10 2) Art : this one is subjective more than it is objective , for me i loved the art so much it is very very very unique , nothing more needs to be said 10/10 3) Characters : this one is the weakest in Tatami Galaxy , the character development was great but it was just for the main character , i liked OZ , but that's it , i was not affected by the characters like for example ( steins gate ) . 6/10 4) Story : the story is great , very well written , i liked how it was like some kind of a puzzle , they managed to deliver a story for 18 episodes in just 11 episodes , a great variety of words , symbolism , artful , literature , at the beginning it was confusing but then it became a lot better , also very original and i liked to concept of returning for changing choices , there is a lot more but i think that's enough . 8/10 5) Sounds + OST : OMG !! this is beyond amazing , in this section i think Tatami Galaxy is the best of all time , (from what i have seen) though i doubt there will be a better anime in this section , the sound effects are excellent and well done , the OST ( love them so much ) Classical music , the OST is just so damn good a masterpiece , i think i will listen to this for the next 50 years . voice acting is also great . 12/10 -- highest score ever in this section , Well done !! 6) Enjoyment : it was enjoyable for me , never felt bored , i was always concentrating in every episode , episode 6 was the best for me . however there is for sure many other anime more enjoyable . 7/10 7) Value/Impact on the anime industry : this anime has a new style a good style actually , i think this anime made something new to the anime industry it contributed in many things , i think it will inspire some other anime in the future . also it has a great re-watch value . 8/10 8) Bonus : before that lets make an overall rating : 8.71/10 a bonus 0.5 in the overall score , for being something new , something original , unique , something you will not find somewhere else , something that tells you this is special you can find it just in the Tatami Galaxy . A Great anime . 9.2/10 = 9/10 This is my opinion of Tatami Galaxy . ( one of my favorites ). |

| damn..the finale was totally like fitting all the puzzle pieces together..it really put a big smile on my face accompanied by little water.. the change in the way of looking things around yourself and cherishing every little thing by the main Protagonist...this affected my way of seeing things too.. |

| I'm speechless, this is one of the most powerful final episode I've ever seen. It all comes to this, so much meaning, symbolism. And the main character is developed in different ways in every episode, reveal everything at the end. Absolutely amazing, a true piece of art that everyone should know of. |

| This is honestly the best ending of anything I've ever seen. Was thinking about giving it a 9 rating, but this episode was just too damn good. How the first part was the clock and the end song, how Watashi turned into Ozu and repeated his lines, how the op was played last... I was grinning ear to ear from pretty much the naked scene on. 10/10 and a new favorite for me! |

| A pretty good anime even if I had no idea what was going on all the time just vague ideas at what truly was happening, awesome ending ties up all the loose ends and even if it is a bit unfortunate that we didnt get 2 see the MC have more romance with Akashi I guess we cant really mind that much since "nothing is as boring as a story of successful love" funny series that has you thinking all the way till the end and an awesome bromance with an evil devil. |

I have finished Re-watching it. My evaluation in page 5 wasn't accurate, i guess i overlooked many things especially in characters,art. My Re-Evaluation: Animation - As i gained some experience from watching other shows in this year I think the Animation isn't really a 10 out of 10. Yes its fluid and amazing, (9). ART - Oh my god, how could I overlook such an amazing and unique art, weird, full of creativity, unique, symbolism, Masterful use of colors, character design is one of its kind, amazing, The Best ART in the whole Industry, No Contest, Beats Penguindrum's ART style. (12) Sounds - The OST is timeless, In fact I'm listening to it the moment I'm writing this, the voice acting is great, my only minor change in in Sound effects department, and its less. (10) Story- I'm a fool, YES!, I gave this 8/10 on my first watch!! Now its no less than 10/10. Narrative is amazing, Plot is like solving a puzzle and what a funny puzzle it is! Filled with black/romantic humor, lots of references (movies,old novels..etc), great Pacing, and above all the THEMES, OMG the themes in this anime are amazing, I've felt and experienced many themes especially as I'm not in my 4th year at the university, Themes are very useful and they teach a lot, All i can say is the story is Near-Perfection. (10) Characters - I Also missed the whole point in the characters, I was looking only on the Main character Watashi, Now on my re-watch I saw that every character had funny and special/unique traits, they all represent someone in the campus, I'm now finishing my 4th year and in this year especially I've met some people that are very close to the traits of Tatami characters, Ozu,Akashi,and all the others have developed very well and had depth. I dont know how I gave this a 6 lol (9) Enjoyment: Even if there was no story at all this would still be enjoyable due to its amazing and rich art style, combine this with a useful theme and funny dialogue, couldn't get better. (9) preventing it from a 10 is the fast sub and me not being a native English speaker. Value- 10 Bonus: Directing/Unique/Creative (+,+,+) I felt this show more on my second watch. A Masterpiece My Final Rating: 9.7/10 |
| A lot of people recommended this anime over the years and I can see why people would rate this anime so highly. It looks unique and out of the norm, but I honestly wasn't particularly impressed by it. I just wanted to get it over as soon as possible because it bored me the fuck out to be honest. |
