| i don't really think all mighty is afraid of gran torino more than he is nervous about his mentoring of izuku. and it's endearing to see him being insecure and asking himself if that invitation was because the man was not satisfied with the boy's development. not that i appreciate him being insecure, but he looked a lot like deku himself in that scene, and it's these little snippets of humanity that makes all mighty such a lovable character. <3 and i know bakugou is an important character, but he is my favourite comic relief. and this is not an insult to his characterization. |

| Unsurprisingly, the UA students ended up being celebrities of their own right after the Sportsfest. Most of the episode focused on really fun hero names and hero internships. Deku with that air chair, wow. Iida threw away all the chances he had for a big headstart into the hero business to avenge his brother. It's very dark to think that Ingenium actually turned out to be very lucky compared to a lot of the Hero Killer's other victims. Gran Torino's scary enough to let All Might quiver in his boots but he doesn't look very menacing here. So that scene with Kokichi in Danganronpa v3 was a Boku no Hero reference all along, holy shit. |

| So the hero names of the Class 1-A are creative. Some of them are funny as well. Yuga's hero name is too long. LMAO. Midnight changes it into "Can't Stop Twinkling." But it is still long. HAHAHA.  Shoto is so adorable. Shoto wants to use his first name as his hero name.  Lol @ Kacchan. His ideas are violent. "King Explosion Murder" [Denied by Midnight]  "Lord Explosion Murder" [Also denied by Midnight]  Tenya is supposed to choose "Ingenium" as his hero name, since it is also his brother's hero name. His brother wants him to choose that hero name, but he decides to use his real name instead. I feel sad for him. He is still not okay. He is worried about his brother.  "Deku." He chooses that moniker as his hero name. He says that he used to detest that name (because it is used an insult for him). But he says that "someone" (and that is Uraraka) teaches him that it could have another meaning, which is "I can do it!"  Deku gets an internship offer from Gran Torino, who is a former homeroom teacher of All Might. All Might's reaction is priceless. He is shaking. He is anxious about Gran Torino. HAHAHAHA.  |

| Midnight is such a sweetheart. It was pretty entertaining to see them come up with their code names, and it's unexpected for Deku to get an offer but seeing All Might worry about it seems really fun XD I'm really worried about Iida, damn that Stain. |

| Kirishima's right, Bakugou would go better with the name "Explosive Boy" since it fits him, but I also of thought of "Dynamite" XD Yuuga should go by the name "Twinkle" and the problem gets solved! ^^ Nice episode :) |

| I knew he will choose Deku. This is the name given and meant by his friends. Good thing he finally got an offer and this was from the best. Sure Gran Torino will be the best person to teach him. But looks like troubles are coming ahead. Iida's leaving was not normal seemed to me. Hope he doesn't gets hurt badly. So they are now training with heroes. This will be fun I hope. I wonder what is Bakugo's hero name. It should something deadly though XD!!! |

Hey I am a sane person(XD) It may took too long time but it was important. It was there recognition and there was some more important things like Tensei and Tenya's conversation. Though it would have been better if they had been added the conversation between Shouto and his mother. |

My boy needs to channel that frustration elsewhere iygwim ;—) That foreshadowing. Is Iida going to get revenge/seek out the Hero Killer on his own?? I’m glad his brother is not dead tho. But damn, Deku’s words definitely do not bode well. |

| Damn Midnight be turning on some students ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I really liked some of the code names, I was disappointed with Shoto though. He could have chosen a really cool one. I really liked Midoriya's 'Deku'. Looks like iida has revenge on his mind. Looks like the villain league will make an entrance soon enough. I wonder what kind of person is this Grand Torino. |

| I like having a tournament arc relatively early on being the first part of the 2nd season. We have the 1st season to set up the world and establish most of the characters, and immediately we get the tournament. I think it just will make any of the character interactions from now on much more interesting than if we hadn't had a big clash of an event as a tournament beforehand. It served as a way to provide character growth for several of our characters, and will still probably be referenced to in the episodes to come. Now every little thing, even just thinking of hero names, will be much more interesting imo. |

| I knew that "Deku" would be the name that Izuku would choose, as he already stated it previously. It's short, and very easy to remember and pronounce. Bakugou is still having a name problem though, lol. Iida was hesitant to write "Ingenium," but he may end up taking that name eventually, to honor his now paraplegic brother. I can tell that Iida wants to kill Stain. |

| Alright the students are now going through their internships and unsurprisingly Todoroki got the most offers from the agencies and Bakugo not being too far behind him. The fun part was just the students coming up with their codenames and quite a few of these were really good like Tsu’s being Froopy, Uraraka going for Uravity which was pretty adorable but I think the best one funnily enough has to Bakugo’s. I mean both those names just scream fricking edge lord right there. I bet Bakugo was just sitting there all smug when he was thinking about what to call himself and was like: “YEAH I KNOW WHAT I’LL BE CALLED! IT’S THE BEST NAME I CAN THINK OF!” Then have them immediately shot down by Midnight. XD Just priceless. I’m glad that Deku kept his name because honestly while it WAS initially a cruel nickname that Bakugo kept giving him, now that he’s a lot older? I feel it suits him better and plus as he said the name has a new purpose and it’s pretty self explanatory altogether. Plus his friends do refer to him as “Deku” from time to time anyway so yeah it being an insulting nickname has kind of lost it’s sting with age. Tenya really feeling saddened about his brother there, he’s really hestiant to take his brother’s hero name and who can blame him for that. Again his brother is in no fit condition to do any hero work anymore and he nearly got killed because of Stain. Revenge seems to be a factor with Tenya because he’s no longer hanging out with both Deku and Uraraka. I really hope he doesn’t turn to the league of villains but considering how Deku’s narration is concerning Tenya, it’s not giving me a vote of confidence here. But still at the vey least Deku has got somebody that take him on and so happens too All Might’s old mentor, Gran Torino. Who looks like he’s going to be quite an eccentric character to Deku if the final scene with him is any indicators there. XD Really fun episode regardless, quite a few emotional moments, really looking forward to the second half of season 2. |
| I was only into a few of the names. Bakugo is a ridiculous edgelord, and it's funny how the other characters responded haha! Deku's new trainer seems really weird but no real different than the other characters who are extremely focused on a single personality trait or attribute. |
