Hope you get well soon <3

Hmmm.... I guess having arguments is frustrating. Thankfully we always sort them out quickly.
Dang boiiii that is so much money lmao. I always set like a 100 euro limit for myself. I play for fun, not to make money.
I do spend most time with her ^^
I take it a lot more casually now.
Roulette is pretty fun too, but it's similar to the slot machines where there's not really any gameplay. You just place a bet and wait.
I'm shakin it :3
Sorry for late reply. Been busy >__<
Yeah for sure I think a lot of people would want Genshin to have more challenging content available even if its optional. Everything is certainly harder than it used to be, both in terms of raw enemy stats as well as new mechanics such as for example corrosion (party-wide shield-piercing bleed stacks), guaranteed one-shots (Raiden slash) enemy reflect abilities and whatnot but if you have a stacked roster there's pretty much always tools available to handle it relatively comfortably. I guess if they made things too hard it'd hurt the new player experience too much instead so it's a delicate balance. Character level cap is 90, account level cap is 60, though neither of those things are generally the best indication of power tbh
I've played Black Mesa twice actually, once when it first came out as just as an HL mod many years ago, at that point it was just a decent graphical overhaul, but then the actual complete release that came out more recently is almost like its own standalone game. Beyond being a much more advanced graphical upgrade they also completely remade all of the Xen chapters at the end of the game from scratch and created their own much longer and more complex levels to replace them, which considering that Valve always said themselves that they weren't really satisfied with how Xen turned out in the original is more of an homage than a slight. Some people might argue they went a bit overboard with the third part (Interloper) but in general it was a much better finale than the original HL so they made a really good job on that I think
No I only played Witcher 3 as well, hadn't really gotten into it before then but yeah it's by far the most famous game of the trilogy. Well okay I played Thronebreaker as well but that's more of a side game they released afterwards (surprisingly good though)
I think RTS games in general aren't really very suited to consoles tbh. There's so many rapid and precise cursor movements required to play at high level that you can't really do as well with a joystick as with a mouse, plus there's generally dozens of keyboard shortcut commands you can use to play faster that'd be hard to replicate on a controller since you don't have as many buttons. Turn-based strategy games probably work better when speed and accuracy isn't as important. But that aside yeah I've played Company of Heroes 2 a little bit at least a long time ago but think that was more something I just downloaded briefly for a few weeks, didn't really play it super seriously. Never played Commandos but I know what it is at least :p
Depends on what you mean by hard, if you were to start the game for the first time today then yeah the entry barrier is certainly higher than it used to be but if you've been there since the beginning then your own power scaling over time has generally been steeper than the equivalent content of the game. Each new region has had enemies with more health and more damage as well as a lot of new mechanics but it's never felt that difficult if you've been keeping up from the beginning. Same is true for Spiral Abyss; if you were to make a 1:1 comparison between what we have today and what we had 1.5+ years ago then it's way harder today, but I'm also way stronger myself account-wise now so it doesn't really come across that way in practice, etc. So it's a matter of perspective. There are certainly some fights that can be a bit of a struggle if you don't have the right characters for it but at the end of the day Genshin is still a fairly casual game in terms of target audience as it is ultimately supposed to be playable even if you only had the free/guaranteed story characters available at your disposal. But if you want to be a minmaxer then there is not too much difficulty to find other than the occasional challenge event where you can create some customized boss fights with crazy mods just to test yourself if you want but that's all optional content
I've never really been too interested in consoles personally, never really found any need for it when a PC can do everything in one. Anyway well I guess historically speaking some franchises I've always liked are Starcraft, Diablo, Age of Empires, Civilization, Total War, Mass Effect, Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Half-Life, Divinity: Original Sin... probably a couple others but just off the top of my head something like that probably. Mostly RPGs and strategy games anyway
Oooh that honestly sounds super fun
I like the gambling games.
Lmao coincidence? I THINK NOT!
Current map looks like this, plus a couple underground areas: https://act.hoyolab.com/ys/app/interactive-map/index.html?lang=en-us
With Sumeru's launch we're at 4 major nations so far, but area releases have been more gradual as subregions have been released along the way such as Dragonspine, Enkanomiya and Chasm. You can also see that since Inazuma's initial launch they've been gradually expanding the new continents over a couple patches instead of all at once. Inazuma released with 3 islands but ended with 6 plus an underground zone in Enkanomiya
Yeah WH has a million figures like that. Pretty expensive but good quality and they have model paint kits and stuff. Never collected anything like that myself but I know people who did. I don't have a whole lot of physical goods in general but I guess I have a little bit of manga, desk/mousepads and some other miscellaneous goodies that are anime-related at least but it's not much. Takes a lot of space to collect seriously (plus can get a bit pricey in the case of figurines and stuff)
The only 40K games I've really played are Dawn of War 1/2/3 but that was quite a while ago by now. Honestly I wouldn't really say I'm a diehard WH fan in general or anything so I don't exactly pick out games based on that franchise connection per se but it's a cool universe at least
How you doing? :D
I guess you noticed my comment on haxx's profile? :')
I presume you're talking about Kin'iro Loveriche in which case yeah I've read it. Was better than I thought honestly, story went quite a bit deeper towards the end beyond the obvious moege selling points. Bit of a feels trip as well
Yeah I started week 1 at least, been playing continuously since then although it's not exactly a huge time investment per day to just stay up to date while waiting for new major content. Though it is still a bit of a chore doing so, no way around it
It's an MMO yes, though the gameplay is more akin to an ARPG like Diablo or Path of Exile than a stereotypical MMO like WoW or FF XIV. There are certainly pros and cons to the MMO aspect, the time consumption is probably the most obvious drawback, but the gameplay is so good that it felt weird for me to skip out on lol. Was waiting for it since I first saw it announced in like 2014 anyway
Err I guess you could sort of call it related but extremely loosely. Warhammer is a tabletop game originally, which in turn is also split into Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K which is sci-fi. Darktide would be in the latter category and TW Warhammer is in the former. So yes and no. Also Total War is generally speaking a historical strategy game franchise whereas this is their only real venture into a fantasy setting but it is their most popular/successful game nevertheless. The vast amount of content they can utilize from the source material has given them a lot more room for diversity and creativity in gameplay compared to their older games
I'll be working as a technical writer and communicator from now on. I think it's a pretty good mixture of my prior backgrounds and experiences so it's something I've been interested in for a while, plus my mom has been working with the same thing for a number of years now so I have pretty good insight into what it's like. Just started this week, mostly intro stuff so far of course but yeah I'm pretty hopeful about it
I'm still keeping up with anime/manga to some extent yes, though I don't often end up picking up new things anymore. I'm mostly just reading the manga I'm already reading when new chapters come out and watch maybe 10 or so seasonal shows which averages out to like 1-2 eps per day. It's not a whole lot but just enough to keep me going as a long-term pastime. Occasionally I'll still binge some VN too if I have the time for it but it doesn't happen particularly often anymore
Gaming-wise, yeah I've been playing Genshin since it came out which again is something that is just kind of easy to play slowly long-term besides other things since it's usually more of a 30 minutes per day thing asides from new content updates. But I'm mainly playing Lost Ark nowadays which I've somehow managed to get almost 2000 hours into in the past 6 months lol, but yeah that pace is gonna decline massively now that I'm working full-time again instead of just job hunting. Also Immortal Empires is finally coming out for Total War Warhammer next week which I've been waiting on for a long time but fuck knows how I'm supposed to find time for that as well (especially considering the annual new continent update for Genshin is also coming next week zzz). I wish I had more time at my disposal for pastimes but it is what it is
