Shinzou is such an interesting character of the family tbh.

We got to see more lore and exploration of the Yozakura house. It seems there's never ending amount of lore and secrets behind each door. Definitely one of the most bizarre tag game episode I've seen in anime recently. Mutsumi's knowledge about her family helped a lot this episode and she knows very well about their personalities, including Shinzou.

Another decent little episode, focusing a bit more on Kengo and Shinzo and how Taiyo's continuing to have to adapt to his new lifestyle. Even managed to enter a part of a proper spy mission this time around to help Shinzo because he forgot weapons to use. Mutsumi might not have the abilities that her siblings have but she does have a lot of information about each of them and understanding of how they operate, besides doing so much paperwork so she is someone very important clearly in tying the household together.

Love how they are showing off the sibling's rooms.

Kengo was probably hiding in plain sight when they went to Kyoichiro's room. The fact that he promised her that he wouldn't decorate his room like this is a bit worrying.

Taiyou's mission: lunch delivery. Finally getting to see him use Yae was cool.

Shinzou is such a kind guy. Didn't even kill anyone and shooting guns out of people's hands. And that throw O_0.

Too bad Mr. Sleep Deprived started fixing that with a hammer.

On another note, a ramen shop gets special treatment on their family hotline? They must really like their ramen.

From effortlessly catching and throwing back a stray baseball, to going on an infiltration mission to deliver weapons to Shinzo, Taiyo has quickly adapted to this new life of his. That last scene as Taiyo and Shinzo were heading back home was wholesome. Shinzo seems like such a nice and caring big bro.

Looks like we're finally going to encounter an antagonist, whose target is none other than Taiyo.

I like the character Shinzou, seeing how great and skilled he is at using his weapons. But he also has a cowardly side, where he is very afraid of not holding a weapon while carrying out a mission. That's normal, carrying out dangerous missions without holding a weapon is impossible. I liked this episode, quite entertained by all of their behavior!

This anime is getting better and better with each episode.

After all, Shinzo is a gun expert and he has strong fighting abilities with any object that can give him a strong grip. Mutsumi really deserves to be Head of Yozakura Family =)

I like the opening theme, I can’t wait for the next episode. Kyoichiro is too obsessed with Mutsumi:))

Taiyo's toughness is even more visible now, after the hard work he did while at the Yozakura family house.

The proof is that he was able to help Shinzou who was cornered and managed to get out with him.

Taiyo already seems capable of holding his own for the most part, which is reassuring.

I have a suspicion that there's more to Taiyo than he realizes himself. I doubt he's just an ordinary person; there's no way that guy is after him solely because he's Mutsumi's husband.

Kengo and Shinzo are two halves of the same coin, and Taiyo has acclimated well to the Yozakura family. But as the 10th leader, Mutsumi has a lot of things to deal with, especially if it's with fellow family members filing reports, like Kengo, who is a rather free-spirited guy, and Mutsumi takes things rather drastically, as opposed to Shinzo, who excels in stealth missions. Back to the House, and both Taiyo and Mutsumi trying to find Kengo, it should've been a rather easy job since he always does play hide-and-seek throughout the mansion's various hidden passageways. But as a fellow husband-wife duo, Kengo still has aways to decipher them apart, despite having taken care of Mutsumi when they were young. Too bad for Kyoichiro, he got his just desserts.

Shinzo getting caught by the Yakuza-run counterfeit money business, and having no weapons for survival, it's been one hell of an experience for him, and Taiyo unfortunately has to do a quick delivery on enemy territory. Him taking every advice and lesson learnt as part of the theory, he's putting it into practice. A superfreak Shinzo is one with his weapons, and he leaves no trace of a perfect sight. Even if they're gunned down, and with Taiyo messing up a bit, Shinzo takes accountability as his big brother.

Every member of the Yozakura Family, despite their various traits, are still a well-knitted family together.

Lol I like how every member of the yozakura family is obsessed with something, it all shows from their rooms. And Taiyo is already a superhuman just from the training he done like wtf lol

Pretty wholesome episode , but I wished for more action for Taiyo so we see how much capable he is

Not to sound like a hater or something like that but the last part was the best of this episode for me, we're at the fourth and we still are in the part where we get to see the relationship within this family, is this series that slow in the manga too?

I figured they were skipping chapter 4 after having the hair cut scene from chapter 4 included in episode 3 but ffs they just skipped the entire first big Taiyo mission arc (chapters 5-8), what the actual hell, they even used the fight against the goons from it in this episode too.

Why would you remove the first big action arc, that makes no damn sense.

This big mission is the reason why he gets hammer dude's attention (Chapter 9) and the Shinzo portion is chapter 10 while Kengo is Chapter 40!!!.

I don't mind them rearranging stuff but they better not be outright skipping entire bloody arcs.

so by next episodes title its covering chapters 9 and 14.

Mutsumi sure has a lot of paperwork to deal with but she's fast. Also, as Taiyo pointed out, Mutsumi did somewhat appear to have a bit of fun with the hide and seek game with Kengo (other than running into Kyoichiro's room lol).

@Morcombe1990 I'm not happy about it either. The action scenes in the Flower Bin arc were so good, and it was also a huge training for Taiyo, why on Earth would they skip it? I can only hope they just delayed it and rearranged it a bit or something, because if they really cut it entirely I'm gonna be so fucking pissed.

Good episode. We get to know Kengo and Shinzou a little better, and it's nice to see that they get along well with Taiyou. Speaking of him, he has strengthened quite a bit; he's even able to face off against some assassins now. I'm impressed that Mutsumi isn't as helpless as she may seem, and despite that, they have quite a bit of work ahead of them.

Best episode so far. At the rate he's going, Taiyou will eventually get skilled enough to match the Big Brother. I think this is where it's going anyway. Though, why is he so adept at gaining these 'supernatural' abilities? There might be more to his background than the series is letting on just yet.

I don't like this episode because first 2 episodes only adopted 2chapters and now episode 4 skip chapter 5-8 of the manga skipping things like this makes me less motivated to watch manga because starting chapters are important for character development for audience otherwise people think he becomes OP this soon or something with those lines

@el_morris you do realize the family relationships and comedy are the defining part of the series? The action and story takes less of a priority than that always. It's not slow, you're just expecting something that it's not. By your definition, the manga is even slower. It's a unique approach that highlights the life the characters desire to protect, so once the conspiracy narrative gets going then there's more emotional depth.

@Malhotra55 the focus of the anime is one the important parts. Chapters 5-8 is a mini-serious arc that does nothing for the overall story, from what it seems like they are taking elements of it and injecting it into other parts in order to make the story flow better.

Ehh, the episode about building a relationship with the blonde and the green-haired guy, a bit boring. It would be funny if the scene where the MC had a gun to his head and incapacitated the attacker with some stupid technique ended with the MC suddenly appearing in heaven just like in the memes xD

Taiyo is superhuman already. It's either a simple "because of anime" reason, or there's actual reason behind it. Again, I suspect he and his family wasn't ordinary, perhaps.

Looks like Taiyou is starting to step up his spy game in this episode. After the hide and seek segment with Kengo, we see Taiyou take on a serious mission with thugs after his training with the Yozakura's finally paid off. Since each family member has a unique skill trait, I would assume that Taiyou would be good with guns, however I was surprised to see Shinzou good with any weapon he's given with (like the baby fork thrown into a sniper like come on now).

Overall, I can see the show shaping up to be unique in it's own way. There hasn't a serious threat or antagonist yet, unless the man with the hammer going to be a big deal will see, he's eyes is set on Taiyou now in the next episode.

Shinzo has quite the major juxtaposition without ammo. But even the right fork is enough to reactivate his badass mode. Also the Kengo segment of the episode was great. The guy is willing to put on plenty of disguises and hide in the most interesting places to get out of doing paperwork. How dedicated!
