| For a celebration of a New Year, Nishikata seemed nervous this episode. But then again, he always seems cautious around Takagi. The snowman scenes were cute and hilarious. Houjou also makes a rare appearance! Wish she got more screen time in the show though. She has a more mature personality compared to most of the cast. |

| A kinda weak follow up from the Christmas episode but still fun either way. love the interaction at the end tho, rare sight of Takagi-san getting a little angry and jelly "give it some more thought, will you?"  |

| What comes after Christmas? New Year's, and it's the spirit of greetings and offerings. Takagi and Nishikata's first shrine visit together and fortune slips a-bettin' for their first contest of the year, and Nishikata will only keep losing. Good luck keeping that streak. Backtracking time a bit back to Winter, and the duo's contest about building a snowman in 30 minutes...the "better" artistic quality one, not just about size. And Nishikata overused his confidence too much to concede defeat at Takagi's small, but better looking snowman. Oh well, at least she helped him a little bit in completing the bigger snowman. To have the classmates's segment is rare enough, but of course not just the Ashita wa Doyoubi girls greeting for New Years. But Houjou asking Nishikata for advice on gifts since her lover Hamaguchi's birthday is coming up, that's rare and must be kept secret. I'd think that Nishikata didnt realize that Takagi was jealous and wanted to do the same, and boy he FINALLY got the hint from Takagi that the 15-year-old she's been talking about has been always him. Hoo boy, every tease just gets confusing for Nishikata, but only love can she do things for him. Get a clue already, Nishikata. |

| Nishikata really needs everything spelled out to him word by word, get some clue for real though. Also would appreciate more Houjou screen time. |

| You'd think after how things went with the scarf that Nishikata would figure out that Takagi was asking him for gift ideas, but apparently not. At least this time Takagi decided to just tell him so up front and avoid any misunderstandings brewing; it seems she's finally figuring out that Nishikata has to be told in clear terms about these things as hints will go straight over his head. |
| Tagaki's snowman look so cute and nice~ I've never built a snowman! Hope I can make one someday. I wonder if the last two episode will be directly connected like s2 did. |

| It is pretty nice to hear Aoi Yuuki's more serious voice for a change, Takagi was so jealous she even accepted that her joke this time was more on a mean side. |

| People forget that boys of the same age as Nishikata (and younger) are really dense. And poor Nishikata here isn't the brightest of the bunch. What he is good at though, is being patient and kind to Takagi. That's one of the reasons she likes him I guess. |

| After last week’s Christmas episode, this time we get a New Years/Winter themed one, and it was great, the opening first shrine visit was good, of course Takagi would win a purely luck based challenge too lol, and the snowman bit was also great, Nishikata really did make the thiccest snowman. I was also surprised by Houjou calling Nishikata over, but if it’s for advice on Hamaguchi it makes sense, but the real best part of that was Takagi getting jealous over it near the end, definitely a Takagi we haven’t seen before and it made for an interesting moment between the two of them. I also like that she apologized after, furthering that theory lol. |

| Happy new years to them both and I see new year still taking L's Quantity doesn't mean quality Nishikata my man needs to think about his standards I felt like there's going to be a tad bit of drama not big just a small one like Nishikata's chance on teasing Takagi kind of measure, Takagi's intuition is off the charts I would like those to be honest, We're kind of close to thinking Nishikata was correct when he said Takagi can read minds, More Riery karaoke what a blessed episode. |

| New year, same story of Nishikata taking the L at every opportunity and that's how it should be! XD Regardless, his time with Takagi at the shrine during near years was fun and relaxing. Same goes for theit snowman contest, where Nishikata went for the ambitious, but rubbish approach of making his snowman big, while Takagi made her snowman small and cute. I do like Houjou getting more screentime and asking Nishikata about presents ideas for Hamaguchi was cute, which Takagi did happen to notice, which ended up being a topic she asked him on their way back home from school. Although Takagi's guess were spot on, Nishikata was a man of his word and kept his promise to Houjou that he wouldn't tell anyone about their discussion. Then he let himself down when he couldn't figure out Takagi when she told him she was thinking of getting a present for a 15-year old boy, which she told him straight that it was referring to him. He's dense, but he's getting closer to the answer, one small step at a time. =P |
| Oh hoh... Takagi got Jealous. Funny how she explained that she's teasing, not bullying (99.99% of times). A number of people had problems differentiating the two since season 1. Yeah, Takagi was a bit mean there, purposefully making Nishikata feel anxious with counter-jealousy xD P.S Takagi's snowman was super adorable! |
| NEW YEAR! Another nice chapter, the snow came and they made a contest, the one Takagi made was nice xd. And Hojou asked Nishikata for help. How cute she was when he told her about the cookies. And Takagi saw them talking, she got a little jealous, right? Although Nishikata for a moment too, hmmm. Good chapter, and the ending (keeping with the Christmas season) was good. |
Now I didn’t read the source material… but at this point in the story (almost 3 completed seasons in) doesn’t it seem like Nishikata is still quite a bit dense for his own good? I’m hoping they make some sort of verbal progress at some point in the near future.  |

| Nice that they added these little but interesting competitions, I missed these moments during this 3rd season, previous teasing didn't work very well in the previous episodes I had the feeling. The snowmen competition was really fun when Nishikata made his piece of art too heavy to lift XD Nishikata said "aren't you always mean?" The last scene was a little scary, Nishikata can't escape her grasp. Takagi san really has a hard time with Nishikata, although I think he already knows about her feelings. Someone has to spell it out in the next two episodes or I will scream at the screen. I can't take another season of this waiting game. |

| The New Year episode, and our couple manage to be in the shrine together. Don't worry Nishikata, you'll still be teased nonetheless by Takagi, but hey she did got her wish though....yep. Kimura if it's anything, don't eat A VERY LOT because your tummy goes brr. And I finally got to know her name (it's Hojo) and she's that type of classmate who only asks you about something because her crush is your friend, nothing terrible about that I'm just saying. But yo that last scene when Takagi is asking our boy on what present he'll like for his birthday, and Nishikata asking back on why our girl teases him always, the vibes I was getting throughout that scene was crazy. Didn't really move much, but this episode is aight. |

| Ahh, new years. They first visit the shrine and then he got stressed for making a snowman lol. Nishikata just can't catch a break ^ Another wholesome episode. It felt really calming and funny at the same time... The present question from Houjou was funny but I was glad Nishikata kept it a secret; loyal boi. 2 more episodes left for this season 0.0 It's too wholesome I'm gonna miss it |
