Erin team up with Iaru and the Sezan in order to deliver the remedy in time.

It seems that a THIRD faction is trying to disrupt the balance between the two major powers of the kingdom. Nice action sequence and arrow shootings.

Next episode, will Lilan get a boyfriend? It seems that an injured male Oujuu is taken under their care....

Keep up the good work!

Okay, I just watched the Crunchy subs just to test its accuracy, and it was SO bad, and SO much weaker compared to the SS subs, I won't ever watch them again. Too bad.

Coming back to the episode, it was very good as always and showed some great developments in terms of plot and between Ial and Erin too. Some very nice fight scenes also.

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

The subs I watched gave Iaru the name La-Lu... that really threw me off.

The fight scenes were epic, especially when Erin helped discover an ambush, she's so smart ^^

Superb episode. The fight scenes, how masked man were handled, etc. etc. One of the best episodes so far. There is also sth going on between Ial and Erin (some users think that Tomura is closer to her but to be honest I doubt it). However, considering we have only 15 episodes left (35 were released so far, so from 36-50 there are 15 episodes) there is a small chance we will see any romance in it. I for one would be glad if it were so, I'm not watching KnSE to see lovey-dovey scenes.

Yeah, she discovered that sth is preventing the bird from going to it's nest but it looked like she couldn't come to a conclusion Ial could. Although to be fair I doubt Erin hadn't had any suspicions, it was too obvious.

Pretty good episode. Everything went on expectedly, but the most interesting thing is that I realized that the touda poisoning a while ago may have been the first in these political baitings (I'm guessing set up by the princess's uncle) to frame the Psygamul (Saigamul? Psi-gamul?). Besides that, I watched Horrible's version of the subs, and I think I may be sticking with SS.

Well, the entry of the poisiner, set up a few episode back, has been tied into a larger political plot. That was done very well. Ial is such a cold fish. Do you think there's room for Erin in a soul full of dedication to duty?

I think Erin x Iaru is a very probable outcome.

Could you please stop spoiling in this thread or at least use spoiler tags (see above)? This is not a thread about a novel but anime. Anything concerning the novel shouldn't be here (unless you would create a thread "future events - watch out spoilers" or sth). I for one don't like even the smallest type of spoiler.

I haven't even read the novels other than the back summary :/

And the anime is only on the first two books....I think....

Other than that, sorry for spoiling you.

Well, it was fantastic episode. I loved the reunion between Ia-Lu and Erin. <3 These two better be an item in the future because I've been shipping from the start. Sorry, Tomura~

Ahh, I liked how Erin and Ial teamed up. They didn't stick together long, but they seemed to work together pretty well. They're both skilled at their own trades... and they can both play the harp!

I liked that part! I mean, the whole bit with Erin noticing something Ial didn't, but Ial understanding what it actually meant.

That poisoner really set himself up for being easily... dislikable. (I know 'likable's a word, but that's not. Heh.) I don't like how he's always lurking against a wall with squinty eyes and a weird sort of frown on his face. I hope he doesn't touch Lilan for a good long while. Just him being at the school makes me feel like any of the characters (beast-lords and any other beasts) could die at any moment.

Kinda bummed that Ia-lu cares more about the Ohju than the poor food taster back at the palace. I get what he's saying about the rumors disrupting the national order, but still... he didn't even blink, and there's no indication he sent word that he wouldn't be coming back with the antidote.
Preview: Oh, dear. Something wild beast can do that the captive ones can't?...
Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.

Back when his mentor was still alive, Ial often let his emotions get in the way of duty. He's obviously changed since then but I think there's still a chance for Ial and Erin to get together.

Ial x Erin OTP :D

Hmm Kirik is a Saigamul and is working for Daimiya (white flower) so that means Daimiya is involved with the Saigamul and wants to overthrow the queen. Makes sense since he's already inciting Nugan to rise up and prove he's better than Shunan.

I'm on to you Daimiya >__>

Poison Teacher is a pain in the ass. It seems like he was just stuffed into the story to add drama. I hate him almost as much as I hate Nukku and Mokku. If it weren't for these three crappy, contrived characters, I'd probably be at a 9/10 now instead of teetering between a 7/10 and 8/10.

Fun so far. Nice to see Erin meeting with Ia-lu again, but I really think Shunan is the best male character in the show. I wish Erin gets shipped with Tomura though, that'll be the perfect ending :s

This one was as good as expected! So Kiriku isn't truly a Saigamul, but one of the people trying to pass as one in order to further damage, and divide the country. That explains why he would be one of the masked men if hates the Wajyaku. And he truly did poison a Beast-Lord, and just to blemish the image of the Queen and her authority!

But I just love how Erin keeps surprising him. Things won't go so smoothly for him as long as she's there. She realized that the Beast-Lord was poisoned almost immediately, and she knew the poison! I loved how what happened to Soju way back in the start was useful now, great writing!

It was also nice to see Shunan, even though he's pretty much the same. It seems his father is ill these days, so he might become the next Grand Duke soon. Also the flowers in the garden are the same as the one that Kiriku got in that package, it isn't a conclusive proof, but the chances of Damiya being the one behind him are truly high! And then finally Ial! Looking pretty hot, I mean, as cool as ever. It's also nice that his friend Kyle seems to be pretty capable and learned a lot about the eggs theft. But then the main attendant of Seimiya is also poisoned. But thanks to it Shunan and Ial are able to realize that these attacks aren't being made by the Saigamul, but by someone pretending to be them for their own causes, and this was great progress!

And I loved how the search for the antidote brought Ial and Erin together again after all those years! He was shaken when he heard her voice calling his name, it was a bit of a letdown the way he pretended not to know her though, but it was in order to protect her, and he said that he was sorry later, so it's fine! I loved how Erin quickly found the herb with her keen nose, and memory, and how she realized how that bird was acting strange, making Ial realize there was an ambush there, and stuff, it was great! She was also pretty happy when he called her name, it was cute, and precious!

Their combined efforts ended up spoiling the plans of the "Saigamul" this time, but now they will be aware of them more than ever, and they aren't playing any games. I mean, one of them even committed suicide in order to take what he knew to the grave, and as the narrator said, the poison that is eroding the country is already spreading. I can't wait to see which will be their next move, and when and how Ial and Erin's paths are going to cross once again!

“Beasts don’t live for humans.” Truer words have never been spoken. I’m a bit of a hypocrite since I won’t stop eating meat (though I eat red meat very sparingly), but it’s how I feel about the rest of the animal kingdom. People who keep wild animals as pets, Poachers, and the like are absolute garbage people. Let the wild be wild for the most part.

Fun episode though it's more at a crossroads as a set-up. Erin is finally getting dragged into politics as we knew was coming. I think it's an interesting choice for Kiriku to try to kill the Lazal best-lord first. Maybe to put the blame on the Kazalm keepers? Or maybe as a test run since it was already weakened?

Ial’s a smart one. He essentially ha’d the same thought as me when I heard about the Chichi Mimic, and with way less information on hand. I certainly looks like someone is trying to make all this look like it’s from the Saigamul. But, I question if the Saigamul are even from the duke’s quarters. Considering the Touda eggs are being smuggled into the Queen’s quarters, Maybe the Saigamul are Damiya’s crew rather than agents front the duke's quarters. Maybe Damiya created the Saigamul as a way of sowing chaos.

Should be interesting to see Kiriku’s response to Erin saving the Lazal beast-lord.
