The Only real solution to all of this is to create an equality factor to this cycle otherwise this is just going to be continued in a loop.

Acquiring a forbidden power for humans looks like a good solution for this, as it levels the parties, though the nature of that power is still unclear.

Yea lets not escape while we're alone on a boat with 2 of the most incompetent prison escorts ever.
This plot is making me weak in the knees.
But atleast Favaro is back.

The fight between Azazel and Charioce was sub-par by Bahamut standards, but the three-way fight made up for it. Kaisar is still the absolute master swordsman.

Anyway, now we got Favaro, Jeanne, Kaisar, and Nina all in one prison, with an angry Rita plotting to free them. That's about the full party right there,.. it's getting started!

They trying to portray the humans as evil which is kinda bullshit since in season 1, the demons was always terrorizing human land, the humans were weak so it is totally understandable why they would want to rise up against their enemies and masters.

Damn it I hate the fact that I had a feeling Favaro would be in jail! It kinda ruined the supposed mindfuck surprise -_- I don't know why it suddenly occurred to me as Charioce was passing judgement onto Nina and Kaisar. UGH so annoyed! I was really looking forward to my WTF FAVAROOOOO moment!!!

Anyway this episode was definitely a huge leap from the disappointment in the previous one. I like that the story is delving into darker themes and that the whole cast seems to be complete now! So looking forward to the prison break! <3

Muh equality
Muh demon built everything
Muh hubris bad king
Have they forgot how demon and god treat human? The demon doesnt seems to care about humanity at all, probably massacre them all the moment Cheerios party loses their power, the god probably want to turn human to mindless worshipping zombies again and Nina keeps going on shitting the king. I really am incredibly triggered by the fact that they ignoring these and trying to paint human as bad as possible and injects hazardous equality with demon/god idea.
Cheerios has so much potential, if given enough space to shine
Sh!t sh!t sh!t I afraid even Favaro cant save the show. Only watch for my little Rita now.

Best episode yet!!!

The fight against Charioce and Azazels despair were really moving.

Nina showed some balls with her speech and the he way she tried to reduce the sentence to just three days was cute.

The escort for Nina and Kaiser looked pretty weak though, an escape would've been pretty easy if you ask me. And just when I thought the imprisoning of them would be the perfect oppurtunity for Favaro to show up he actually appeared :D

But now there is no one left who could free them, the only possibility which comes to my mind is Ninas ability, let's see how it turns out.

Great episode overall. 5/5

I was beginning to lose hope in seeing favaro this ep, until the end... YES! That jail is gonna be lit next ep. I don't know about you guys but the humans being in control is a lot better than demons being in control, however the king shouldn't have the demons tortured/killed for nothing.

Man, Charioce is powerful as hell! No one can take him down!
Lady Sofiel is super... Attractive too, I really like the way she looks and acts. I wonder what El/Mugaro's power really does? Its seems like it can nullify all magic in the area :o.

I find it so weird that Nina being able to lift 10 times the amount of normal humans is being held down by one when she is put in chains

I assumed it was mostly her holding back, she was obviously not going all out and seemed ignorant to the charges levied against her until the very end.
She's ditzy but I assume she knows when to keep herself in check, proven by her lying about being a dragon.
Even with her strength she would be unable to fight off a group of the black guard without turning into a dragon, which she is unable to do at will.

This series loses me each time at the point of "weak demons", like - where? - sure they are the underdog right now, but they aren't weak.

Yeah and Azazel is a high rank demon or something, right? Isn't he supposed to be stronger than usual demon? Demon like him could easily beat human without weapons. The power levels in this show is weird. Even if humans have magic they're still humans. Still, this is a great show.

He had already been incredibly weakened by the point of the three-way fight, we did see him wreck house a number of times but the black soldiers are specially geared for taking down higher demons and angels and he took a few hits before they lost their power.

Am I weird that I actually favour Charioce? He actually tries to do something to protect his people, everyone else just acts as stupid spoiled brats - Azazel, Kaisar and even clueless Nina, this time her speech was one bunch of cringe. And it's even worse when you realize you like king and angels better than the main cast.

I really don't like they are trying to make king into villain when he is the only one who acts on behalf of logic... Azazel is just terrorist that started all, Kaisar is insecure, unlikeable and naive prick with no real motive and reason to even defend the demons in the first place after what they did.. Can someone explain me why he is siding the demons? Cause he doesn't make sense to me (and even Rita told him that). I really liked him better the last season.

And Nina, oh, Nina, I like her quirks and funniness but she should stayed heck out of politics cause she doesn't know a bit about it and I even wonder whey they let her talk for so long during tribunal - surely the guards shouldn't be that worthless and can do their job properly, right? Her petty ideals would crumble pretty fast if she knew a thing about Azazel and his kind. Can she be any more stupid and clueless about what's happening around her?

Also, I'm pretty much disgruntled that noone actually mentioned it was Azazel who bombed and killed bunch of people just for sake of his little revolution.

But it's still so funny how Nina don't know who king is :D

Anyway, I liked Charioce's and angels' parts of this episode but there was way too much of cringe in the rest of it.. really let me down after previous build-up.

Maybe some things will change now when Favaro and Joan D'Arc enters the scene but I really hope they drop this siding with terrorist demons thing pretty soon. In fact, if the ever wanted to work together again, as three races, the only thing that could make them cooperate side-by-side is some common threat.

The best part of the episode is in the final, sorry if I say this obviously, but the lack of Favaro was unbearable. This time the epoxide is exciting, but at the same time sleepy because of the narrative rhythm. There is a good match between Chariot, Kaisar and Azazel. I'm getting more and more of this series.

To make Favaro appear in those conditions, I think it was the best choice, given its nature.

This series does action really well.

I don't buy Azazael as super sympathetic. Not after I marathoned the first season. Mildly endearing after all this and with his edgelorde fails but he never really repented.

Also the king's hat is the most code geassy possible.

It's amazing how many pieces of shit there are in this anime... From all three classes.

BTW, Kaisar was amazing.

The thing I don't know is why Azazel is so "weak" now. I watched first season a "long" time ago and he was badass as hell. Maybe he is weakened for some reason that happened in the first season and that I don't remember or for some brand new reason.

I like the show so far, but there are some strange stuff not explained or annoying. Still, fun to watch anime.

This episode is quite the treat. It's definitely the turning point of the show. Unlike in S1 where there was a clear picture being painted, this time I'm not sure what's going to happen from now on which is also good in its own right. I'm interested how things will go from now on.

Anyway, the three-way fight was great. Three ideologies clashing with each other.

It was pretty sad seeing Azazel cry like that especially since he has worked so hard for the last 10 years waiting for the opportunity to strike down Charioce and seeing it crumble like that with his very own eyes definitely dealt a huge blow on him.

I actually really like Kaisar a lot. I think he's underrated. People keep calling him stupid and naive which is true for the most part but he represents another ideology in this show full of grayness. He acts as a middle ground in the mix.

The gods have finally acquired Mugaro and as Charioce said, they're gonna get overconfident like the last time. Whatever they're planning, I'm sure it won't succeed. It seems like Charioce is always one step ahead.

The way I see it, it looks like everyone is somehow at fault in the narrative. The gods are still a bunch of pricks who want to be worshiped by everyone. The demons are made sympathetic this time but it still doesn't erase the fact that used to terrorize humans before and the events that transpired in S1 were all the demons' fault. The humans made a huge step for themselves acquiring the power to finally stand up against the higher beings but some of Charioce's actions are also questionable. Nonetheless, I still like him as a character and I'm pretty intrigued by him.

Bacchus and Hamsa got caught for hiding Mugaro. Nina is still as clueless as ever. With the way she was talking like making her sentence a few days only, I'm sure she doesn't realize the gravity of her situation.

Jeanne makes a second appearance and Favaro is finally back. Overall, a great episode.

Nina's attempt to try to transform was hard to watch. It must have been tough on her, seeing the situation around her and Mugaro being taken away by the Gods, and knowing she could do nothing about it. This applies to Azazel too, of course.

Surprised that Nina didn't get an increased sentence of, I don't know, death. Heck, Favaro, Kaisar and Amira in Genesis were just about to be executed before the Gods intervened, for something I'd say was less than what Nina did. I guess that's the power Chris holds, and some part of him must still care for Nina.
