No wonder that Miyabi girl likes Toru... And it's also about damn time we get more action again coming from Julie with her Blaze. It also looks like their bunny sensei reveals that she can actually fight rather than annoy just teach his students. Also, is it just me or did they edit some parts of the OP song?.. |

| Very good ep ! Now we know something more of the reason that led Julie to seek power... revenge ! So, with this, the first novel it's over. Well I think it's another proof that try to get at least 4/5 volume ... bold, but it could be a good thing (even if we lose some detail). Seems to me that they censored the blood, Julie was supposed to have a deep wound in the leg that had to limit her mobility at the end of combat... but well, it often happens in the anime. |

| Great episode there. That was some intense fighting and some Miyabi x Tooru moments. That bunny sensei can kick ass. If the first volume of the light novel ends here, I think its time to safely read it. I love they change the op when Tooru and Julie were dancing. |

| Pretty nice to see some actions scenes against other students already. I sort of wanted sensei to just stay a sensei. Seeing Tooru and Julie defeating her with teamwork and quick thinking. Toru's past and the stuff about being an avenger. |

I mean I know Ep. 2's ending implied this and the subs I read seem to say she was taken into custody, but part of me expected them to pull the whole "not real evil only acting to make the mock battle more meaningful" card with her. I found her very annoying in both her cutesy bunny girl and sadistic crazy bitch personas anyway so I wouldn't mind never seeing her again. More on Tooru's past and a bit from Julie. Hotaka's screen time certainly makes her appear meek, but earnest. I thought she gave up too easily/wasn't really trying that hard, but it mighta had something to do with the fact that it looked like she could barely even hold her weapon to begin with. I wonder how much growth she'll get... |

| Tamura Yukai's voice is so amazing, god she has never done bad roles an it was amazing having her as the teacher. Seriously amazing episode, looking forward to the next episode. btw: LN readers can you PM me about rito tsukimi and if she appears again and what role. Perfect voice actress was chosen for her character. |

| I thought it was a pretty decent episode. Fanservice was near non-existent and main focus on action. Learned more about the characters too. So an English girl is coming in the next episode? Lilith Bristol I guess. If she lacks the Westcountry accent that Bristolians have I'll be disappointed. |

| Oh cool they changed the OP animations =o It looked kinda choppy at times though Didn't expect Bunny-sensei to show her true colours this soon....She's pretty awesome when she goes all yandere xD The fight scenes were good but not as good as episode 1 but the battles themselves were very entertaining to watch, especially the one against Bunny-sensei I'm really interested in Tooru's past now and I wanna know what the scar is all about on Julie's back....I'm also happy to see that the battles will be more intense now seeing as though they can actually get hurt and or die |
| Main focus on action for once, and we learned more about Blazes to boot. The action in the first half was lame but the fight with Bunny-sensei was well done and gave us some small insight into Tooru's past too. Let's hope all the fights are as well done as the Bunny-sensei fight rather than as badly done as the fights in the first half. |

| Okay, when will we get the fight scene that has the same animation quality as the OP animation? Because those fight scenes in this episode were pretty underwhelming. All of them. Maybe I am just expecting too much out of this anime show. The whole conflict with the bunny teacher was not that good. There's no build up to the conflict. We only got the "evil smile" from the bunny teacher in the previous episode & that's it. |

| Is it just me, or is the pacing of this show just god-awful? First off, why in the world did the Sensei suddenly go full Bat-shit Crazy? They're having an official battle, they breeze through all types of opponents (seriously, was the nurse thing in the LN? They tried seducing Tooru to win? What the heck?), end up reaching the lasst couple, only to have the sensei switch to Yandere-mode, no explanation at all, and start trash-talking and murdering her own students. Then suddenly, the battle is over, and the school authorities have captured said teacher. Why? Who is she? Was she really bat-shit crazy? Or was she putting on an act to get her students to work better together? Literally no explanation provided for anything. I feel like this show is skipping any and all explanations and is just running away at break-neck speed with the fights here. Apart from the most base of info-dumps, we really know nothing about this world much, not in the least why they need a school for these Blazes, what these Blazes purpose is exactly. AND why the heck some crazy teacher would want to slaughter her own students (I mean, her mentality was like "I'm the only one who should have a blaze, I'll F'ing Kill all the noobs!"). Suddenly we've skipped to the next day where Tooru is so injured that his arm is in a sling and they're having tea?!?! No, "I wonder why our teacher attacked us and tried to slice our asses off". Just a simple "she was caught" "oh, okay", end conversation...... er.... what? Julie then stands up after his exclamation of pain and suddenly trips over him (it was crazy fast animated, like 2 seconds max), then the girls come in and your regular harem misunderstandings ensue. Aaaand then suddenly Tooru and Julie are Avengers...... well that escalated quickly.... The lack of proper explanation of things that are happening, the low budget animation, and the weird way we are transitioning from one scene to the next is getting on my nerves. Right now the one thing holding my interest here is Tooru's flashback of the bladed swordsman and his currently "mysterious reason" for becoming a Blaze. |

| Should just rename this to "Absolute garbage" .. hehehe..he..he well, imo that is what this anime is. Like at the start of the episode, there were many people who didn't change their partner, why would everyone think she was talking to the main protagonist(s)? How does he expect to win against, for example, the girl with dual-wield-sword-blaze when his own is inferior to a buckler? It's basically swords Vs. fists. And c'mon, that.. thing is NOT a shield, more like an arm protector, which is only good because you can have that in addition to something in both of your hands... The fights in this episode were... lame.. The OST are mediocre at best. Just felt like Tomoe was misusing the "Tachibana" name every time she mentioned her moves.. (Probably just me who found that annoying tho). The fight with the teacher was so bad I was sure she was just kidding, and I was surprised when I realized (about when they said she had been arrested) that she was actually evil. Firstly, that .. armguard.. has limited reach, and she could just have aimed somewhere other than his left arm/chest? Like his right arm or feet? Second(ly), she's swinging that huge sword around as if it was a thin stick she found in the woods. The force she's generating in one of those swings alone should send him flying (since you know, physics, well normally I wouldn't complain about physics in an anime, but this is just too stupid..). Well I guess this could be explained by some magic force-repel thing in the armguard. Well, at least the the OP/ED songs aren't that bad.. |

| Naah i do not believe it was Julie who saved Tooru in the past, the scar does not fit. Her scar went from right down to left up, the one from the past was the opposite. I gotta admit that the fighting scenes were quite sloppy, it was like their poses compared to the power one would imagine they put into their attacks, did not match. I found it enjoyable anyway. i also had my suspicion about the teacher being some psycho, based on her face in the start and from the last episode. |
