How I feel about certain anime series

Kill La Kill

Oh boy, Kill la Kill... This show was epic. I picked up kill la Kill after 17 episodes had aired and I was happy I picked it up because the day I finished episode 17 episodes 18 came out and blew my mind! Kill la Kill follow Ryuko Matoi who returns to find her father being killed by the one of the most OP characters in the entire show, but we'll get to that later. You will not enjoy this show if you dislike heavy fanservice. Do yourself a favour and go read To Love Ru darkness then come back, you'll realise this fanservice is nothing compared to that and feel much more comfortable.

Ryuko stumbles upon her father's lab and finds Senketsu the Kamui which gives her super human strength to help her challenge Satsuki and find out if she was the one who killed her father. (The shadow did resemble her a lot but who knows?) She ends up fighting multiple members of the School's clubs and their leaders where she defeats them and takes life fibers. Oh yeah, I think I forgot to mention that clothes, specifically Goku armor/ Kamui gives you super human strength in this show. The main draw of Kill la Kill is of course the action. The plot was good and the fanservice never interested me but what stood above all that was The action.

The action was intense and kept you on the edge of your seat and everytime you think the show couldn't possibly get more epic. Trigger gives you a slap in the face with another epic fight or plot twist.

Kill la kill was fun and enjoyable and if you love action you will probably love this if you can get passed the fanservice.

My gripes were that certain characters who came in as Bad Asses ended up being complete crap in the end (not calling any names but he has red hair) and Ryuko is sometimes dumb and i mean seriously stupid. Kill la kill does have one thing I enjoyed almost as much if not more than the action and that was the OST.

Seriously, Kill la kill's OST is by far one of the greatest I have ever heard. I doubt my ramblings will make anyone want to watch it but it was a fun ride and anyone who loves crazy action will love this show (unless they hate fanservice)

Man u watched the latest episode or re:zero? Fucking gold stuff seriously. It's so painful to watch, all the rem stuff and all but i just cant stop watching, gotta love whitefox, i guess they pulled AOTY out just like that with this episode

Hey man been a long while, how you doing? :D Have you managed to catch up with akagami no shirayuki yet? I've been busy, like really busy. But i managed to find myself a 3 days break last week and i spent them marathoning a few series from last season, and finally i have managed to catch up lol.

Im really liking grimgar thus far, but i'd have to say boku dake ga inai machi is my favourite right now. The story is just too good lol. Apart from that, sequels like gate 2 ansastsukyou , drrr are really good too. I'm very pleased with this season thus far :D

wow, grimgar ep 4 was just, wow. Wasnt' expecting that twist man, it was real good, looks like this season has been keeping up with the previous one well. I've picked up quite a few, and i have to say i'm liking them all :D What's on your list?

Hey man! Been a long while! Happy new year! Uhm, lets see, i have picked up all the sequels including gate, durarara, monogatari series, ansatsukyou. Apart from that, i'm thinking of watching divine gate and hai to gensou. Any other good recommendations? Man they really are alot of "going into another world" kind of anime lately. Alot of them are based on this theme, can't say i've grown bored of it but i'd like some slice of life moe stuff lol

Still a bit too early to comment but it seems good thus far, the latest ep was a bit too jaring in terms of tone cause the 2nd half was complete opposite of the first, i'll also need to find out more about Nora and Father as well as Ebisu's real motive before i can decide.

Okay, i won't get my hopes too high but i'll keep in mind it could be as good. I have the manga on my PTR, so i'll get to it eventually provided no sequel anime is announced.
