oh man the directing and visuals were so good. now that was some good action, a lot of really cool sequences. ngl i've forgotten this part of the manga, so okarun latching onto turbo granny's tiddies came as a surprise lmao.

also i was NOT expecting luffy's VA to say s.o.b xD

What a fantastic chase sequence. Also, damn the revelation that granny went where all poor victimized girls were tortured was very sad. Great episode overall, this has increased my hype for Dandadan as a whole!

Loving the plot and animation so far - I don't claim to be an expert on plot development (probably the opposite actually), but it seems like the Turbo Granny arc ended a bit soon?

It was so entertaining, it makes me worry that whatever is next won't be as fun.

Yeah Science Saru is doing Dandadan JUSTICEEE MANNNN they did the Turbo Granny arc BEAUTIFULLY, the animation in this episode was going CRAZYYYYY bro like I loved the red aesthetic they chose to showcase that they’re in Turbo Granny’s domain so to speak, I didn’t even know but it’s cool to know that the humans who can’t see the ghosts and shit think some sort of natural phenomenon is happening cool touch but yeah this episode is a 10/10 man top notch sakuga animation throughout this entire episode🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Bro Momo is SOOOO fucking hot in them thigh high socks man I couldn’t stop staring at her legs while watching this episode I have problems ong man and she should have them on from now on but that ain’t happening bc she doesn’t wear them like that anymore in the manga😣😫😫😫

But yo the whole anime original scene with Momo swinging her and Okarun around like Spiderman while classical music plays in the background WAS FUCKING PEAK ANIMATION MAN😩🔥🔥🔥🔥💥

I really didn't like how in the scene on the train they didn't show Momo grabbing the Granny with her magic hands. One scene she is aiming at her with her hands extended while revealing the plan to capture her, there's a cut, and then in the second scene she is already holding her. Killed the pacing IMO.

So can we all agree that the production level of this anime is absolutely insane! Sayru is doing such a fantastic job. This will probably go down as one of the best adaptations of a manga to date if it keeps this level of production. Hats off to the animators, directors, art team, and everyone else involved.

Such a MAGNIFICENT job!!

However, after watching 4 episodes , I have mix feeling of this series, more like wrong expectation.
I come in expecting some horror /Supernatural show , like Dark Gathering (the beginning part is like Dark Gathering), but what I get is a love comedy + battle shonen (reminds me of trigger style too, with chaotic and over-exaggerated motion/ action sequence. )

Well , I like Dark Gathering more in terms of plot/ theme, but the production value of Dark Gathering anime is very mediocre.
If Dark Gathering get half of the budget/ animation /animators/staffs of Dandadan, maybe that series would have flourish too. Sadge.

Also this 4th episode looks like a finale too lolz. Guess this series was originally going to be a short one off story like Jujutsu Kaisen Zero, but it gets hyper popular after release so the publisher asked author to make it a long running series. Looks like next week going to be a new story arc.

The idea was pitched before to shounen jump before he had written anything, and they accepted it, so it's kind of him just doing his own thing. Which might make it seem like a short. His intentions were to create a manga that was ongoing, not a short. I believe dandadans chaotic nature just makes it seem like that as well. It's more of a prolog episodes 1-4 if anything.

What a great episode! Dandandan's animation is really amazing! This episode was pure hype

The chaos involving Okarun is finally over and his "banana" is with him again lol
The soundtrack during the fight against the crab was really good, it gives a more tense atmosphere, that race was just insane.
