I'm not limited by demographics. I love the serious and the silly. Furthermore, I do not like unhappy endings or grimdark entertainment but will watch bittersweet shows or movies if they are emotionally cathartic and satisfying in their own right (like Violet Evergarden). Romance (of all forms) and fantasy are my favorite genres, but I often go outside them if recommended by friends, or it catches my eye with its art style.
Characters are the best when they balance seriousness and goofiness to me.

I've been watching anime off and on since I was young, but I'm continually looking for new things to try. I haven't delved too much into manga, but I'm looking to try some out in the future.
My biggest thing that I cannot abide is excessive fanservice showing off women/girls. That's the biggest reason I've dropped shows in the past.
