| Revenge just seems to run in this show like it's part of its blood... Can't blame Kenshin with the way he feels about the village under pressure and violence. Kenshin had that killer look on his face often throughout this episode. About time Makoto Shishio made a physical appearance this season! He's been advertised in promos so it was inevitable. A mysterious yet also intimidating character. This episode had Shishio, Soijioru, and Yumi altogether which made it very worthwhile to invest in. |

| Now with Hajime finally here, the real shit can start. And yeah, with him here he can explain why the police of goverment have been pretty much quiet and done nothing while this whole thing is happening, It's the sad truth, but that's how it worked back in the Meiji era. On a side note though, someone on the staff must really love Eiji because my god do all his drawings look amazing. But that doesn't matter, because finally after so many episodes of buildup, we finally get to see the man himself, Shishio Makoto. He's just as terrifying and ugly as the rumors made him out to be. Ugliness doesn't matter though, because dude has a absolute baddy next to his side lmao. Also get to learn why he's doing all of this and his main motive and goal of just overtaking the government and creating one for himself anew. Got some more Kenshin fighting and just surprising his enemy with his speed, it'll never get old man. Leads to Kenshin just killing his leg in the funniest way ever, while Makoto just threatening him lmao. Though, it was all for naught because Kenshin hit him with that signature HITEN MITSURUGI RYU  Next episode will have the first of many main fights of the arc, and I have faith that LIDENFILMS will deliver. |

| I mean that edge is really something, and Saitou doesn’t even care tbh lol. Still saying all of that to a child who just experienced the worst he could’ve at his age is quite… insensitive, though like I said, he doesn’t care enough to think about all of that xD Now I get the fear of those villagers, but they should just go and fuck off. If you can’t do something which can better a situation, at least let the people who care enough about it, do. Was very hype to see both Kenshin and Saitou ready to go bonkers against Shishio and his gang btw. I mean the actual thing will start in a couple of episodes too, but yeah, the entire hallway scene with them meeting Shishio face-to-face for the first time was very well done. You can actually see the “evil” inside Shishio’s character, and quite a stud too… for obvious reasons( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Feel for the big guy who actually thought he could start some shit with Kenshin though, I mean forget about getting recognition from Shishio, man made an absolute fool out of himself lol… in front of everyone. |

| Well that Senkaku guy ended up being quite goofy lol, a huge guy who’s really fast sounds pretty scary but his getup and the way he acted made me find him amusing, his human catapult attack was pretty cool tho, but Kenshin made quick work of him basically using one attack by gradually increasing his speed without Senkaku noticing, these wacky yet clever fights are something I’ve been missing over the past year. And Kenshin and Saito also came face to face with the man himself, Shishio, and his beautiful babe of a girlfriend, man’s got good taste but he’s gotta be put down. I liked his little speech there too, definitely a good way to introduce him as the big bad of the season, his design is also just super cool too, never thought a burn victim could look so badass lol, I’m looking forward to his first throwdown with Kenshin next week, I mean we pretty much know how it’s gonna go since Shishio losing here would mean there’s no point in going to Kyoto, but I think it’ll still be very exciting, I just hope Eiji and Misao don’t fuck things up for our boy too bad lol. |

| It was hard to see but honestly the village not wanting to lower the bodies made sense. Most people are just cowards and afraid of people who are stronger than them. Not everyone can be Kenshin. I’m glad he did give them a proper burial tho even against the wishes of those in town Did not expect to see Kenshin and Saito confront Shishio so soon tho. Obviously with 24 eps to go this isn’t the big fight, but still just shows how pissed off Kenshin was about what Shishio did to that village and its residents. Couldn’t help but laugh seeing Shishio fuck with Kenshin with the onsen joke lmao. He’s a pos but he’s got a sense of humor. Was that the fucking juggernaut?? No wonder everyone was so scared of Senkaku this mf is a mutant 😭. Still got easily dispatched by Kenshin. I’m worried about Eiji and the girl showing up next week tho. I hope they don’t get themselves hurt or worse. |

| Always liked the way how Kenshin beat Senkaku. Seeing Senkaku throwing himself like a freaking torpedo was a bit too much tho lol. Remake Yumi looks so gorgeous, btw. |

| The villagers refusing to let the parents be buried though really was dark. But it showed well what would happen if Shishio is allowed to win. The insight into the diplomatic side of things was also insightful. The fight against Senkaku was pretty well done. For his bulk he's faster than i expected and his move patterns mean that anyone caught in them is mincemeat. Now curious to see how the first fight against Shishio goes. |

| @SouthRzVa Because the previous director boarded every episode of s1 by himself and he wasn't really good to begin with. This season allows better SB artists to finally have a turn and the results are far more interesting. |

| So the man whose died before saving his lil bro actually a subordinate for Hajime which unexpectedly also investigate through those abandoned village matter. Unfortunately he's late coming to the scene and lead to this tragedy, poor boy. Then Shishio unexpectedly also not far from the scene which for sure visited immediately by them. There the early first encounter of Shishio meeting both Hajime and Kenshin. Hyped entrance ngl. Fight with Senkaku is inevitable at the next, and perhaps an early match for Kenshin against his successor as well? |

| We got through the village mob enemies fairly easily. Don't think we needed the cop for Kenshin to clear them, but I guess it made the job an inch easier. Calling the thief weasel girl tho XD The village has been driven nuts by the force that shackles them. Let the bodies rest in peace at least. They truly lost their dignity. End Shishio before they ruin the country. Quite hospitable to bring Kenshin + co to the big bad served by a hot girl. Yep, the casual atmosphere for warriors. And you have the kid getting ready to charge at the boss for revenge. Big bad would actually take over the village caus he knows people would be irked by how burnt skin.. what a villain. Welp, at least he has some wider goals. Trying to fix the "weak government" with chaos isn't the grandest of mottos. But I suppose the guy does need to be evil. Ended his minion with a single hit to the knee. Didn't even need to slay the metal head, just withered him down to nothing. Like sending a bull around the tatami ground. Suppose the bad guys will have enough actual speed to compete.. |

| So Shishio wants to rule the whole country, well he has his convictions against the government but obviously killing innocent to achieve that is terrible, but he's quite the mastermind to send that Senkaku guy against Kenshin to observe and note all of Kenshin's abilities and attacks, well Kenshin had to finish him at the end though, well deserved. |
