DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- LELS that 3D wok hay throwing, I just can't for the life of me, that is some egg fried rice cooking shitz xD Well, everything's back to normal in 2014...at least based on VRMMO technology that the crew are testing out with the Ex-Arm tech in 2030 to revive Akira's memories. Is this becoming another SAO? OMFG, how did they manage to keep all the well-known tropes, but execute it 10 times as horrendously bad and inconsistent? From the bread in mouth to almost being Truck-kun-ed, and Minami and Akira's near-"kiss" moment, IT'S DAMN AWKWARD but hilarious as hell. WOW, I really can't take this seriously...it's funnily cringey at best. At least there's a new character: Yugg (as in Yggdrasil). Her purpose: snapping Akira back to reality, and simultaneously...a bride to-be? Well that sure made no sense at all. Other than trying to figure out what Akira did in his past life, the mission to get them out in one piece gets so warped in fantasy than realism. 3DCG monsters with silhouettes, and breaking the mirror (with shaking cameras) to bring him back to reality. The enemy in sight: Beta, Ex-Arm No. 11. The exact same "firepower" from Akira's memories, and a cat-and-mouse game ensues. We're moving the plot right along...with an Ex-Arm auction to salvage what is lost. |

The whole VR part seemed bullshit to me and there's just so much idiocy to the school stuff, like why'd he need a bandaid for getting slapped. But there's also so much meme gold in this. |

| Wow, i never expect Ex arm could mocking the isekai fantasy high school drama shit trope really hard. That was surely slap me right in the face, cause of how degenarate i am supposed to be. Sigh, and thanks ex arm for the remainders! Anyway, Yugu finally here! Her personality look interesting. She wanted to be Akira wife? Hell, stepped yourself up through Alma and Minami corpses first, girl! Well, since its a fantasy world, everything should just be possible for all of those shit happened in the first place, until Akira finally snap himself out. Thats took him long enough to finally realize his ugly 3d face. Damn, its dark, i can relate enough to his scream! However, the importance of his existence finally been explained. Yeah, its Beta, that black ex armer shadow of him whose cause the previous tragedy. How can Akira resolved the previous problem with that thing? Lets see next! |

Agree. I know there are scary scenes regarding the main protagonist's trauma, but I laughed at how the scenes were presented! I mean...what was that background scene being used when he's floating and the crack in the screenshots of Alma & Minami from EP 1...lmao. I really feel bad for the manga author & illustrator whenever I laugh. I tried to hold back my laughter from the awful editing and transitioning scenes, but it's too difficult for me...🙇 |
| Not even gonna lie, the content wasn't THAT bad for this episode imo. It was a cool concept and a cool episode story on paper except it was just presented in the usual ex-arm fashion. |

If you criticize Anime you should release your reviews directly to people and authors that made em ! | minami looks great in her schoolgirl outfit, the episode was hilarious for me, so many bad transitions I couldn't help it. sure, it was some sorta mystery and we at least discovered something about this beta dude ex-arm 11 who was the real perp of tokyo attack. the fight scenes were a disaster and pink girl is annoying. the VAs are outstanding 10/10 I hope they finish adapting the manga |

| The silhouettes for those monster fights were giving me vertigo. 1/5 but Ygg was kinda cute so a 1/5 (still). I tried to ignore the awful production to focus on the story this time (couldn't do it, for obvious reasons). This actually could have been somewhat decent if it hadn't been turned into a lab rat for some Frankenstein freak show. |
