I hope not smfh, if the ending movie is completely unchanged and the public like it then there's straight up no standards anymore.
People at least realized GoT's ending is bad, so I have hope.

Ikr, I literally want to cry sometimes when I think about how badly it fucked up, i'd have been fine with even an okay ending that didn't ruin my memories and ability to reread/watch it but nope.
I also hate that it's basically "the" representative of anime in the mainstream, compared to Breaking Bad and stuff and it's gonna be a laughingstock soon, making the whole medium look bad.

it's a pretty short manga. Shouldn't take you more than 4-5 hours to finish it. It's even more impactful because it's that short imo

seriously. Every anime hyped as "anime of the season" or some bs similar to that is usually just an uninspired cashgrab with either isekai or waifu biat. There are definitely exceptions, like Odd Taxi, but they are few and far between. Like just in 2021, I'd say there were only 5-6 anime worth watching out of the almost 200 that actually aired
