It's true that our views of players changed as we grow older. When we were kids, footballers seemed like heroes, they showcased sportsmanship and passion. Watching the likes of Xavi put sportsmanship above winning seemed like honorable behavior but now it's out of the question .

I remember Klose's words. I feel nostalgic for the way football used to be. The older generations commitment to training, and love and respect for the game, is absent from the game today. Today’s the focus is on commercial aspects and individual branding, social media stardom..

The atmosphere has changed as so called commercialization have transformed stadiums. The passion and raw energy of the past have given way to controlled environment. it's for inclusivity and profits it feels like the heart and soul have been muted. Players don't have to be responsible or deal with fan pressure to perform.
They don't have the sense of pride when they wear the jersey.
The old stadiums are being replaced by the modern stadiums are becoming multi-purpose mega-structures, with shopping malls, restaurants, and hotels inside.
It's a far cry from the traditional, single-purpose venues of the past where stadiums were built only with sports on mind, where fans supported their teams but now it's like a picnic in the stands or shopping trip and a night of fine dining in a fancy restaurant.. It's pathetic reality.
The old venues are irreplaceable about the old-fashioned charm and pure focus on the game itself.

It’s understandable why you respect those players so much. They represented a time when the game seemed more about passion and less about personal gain.

The culture back then was so different, so I can't even imagine what was his thought process in all of this. Though, it does show how much power all mangakas hold like it was shown in Oshi no Ko. If the author does not want an adaptation, they have all the legal rights to stop any from happening. Toei probably didn't want to get sued to hell, lol.

Ruud van nistelrooy was and still is my favorite player of all time.

I really miss the old generation of players, they had that aura and didn't bitch on Twitter or posted pics of holidays on Instagram, I feel they genuinely cared about the fans and the badge of the team they represented.

It's very interesting that Kubo is so involved with the anime that he has no time to make manga. The female protagonists are still being ignored in Jump despite the fact they had Soul Eater which was so popular. I wonder will BtW continuation then be anime original, since Kubo seems to be so into the process already.

I've been especially keen on watching it after watching that prequel for Burn the Witch. That show is so good and it's crime that Kubo doesn't release new stuff for it. Amazing world and characters have... character!

I agree! Ruben Amorim has certainly made an impression to get the job, but it's true that we'll likely see his full tactical approach and philosophy more clearly next season. His track record at Sporting Lisbon shows he's capable of implementing a successful strategy, and it will be nice to see how he adapts it to the Premier League.
I don't think his style will suit the current United squad, or i think there will be more changes to come in the transfer market. He likes playing with wingbacks over wingers

That moment when a side female character in the show turns out to be a lesbian and just based on this, the reviewer begins to think that the entire show is a subtext BL and the male lead is gay. I'm serious. The funny thing is that the fact that this girl is a lesbian was found out thanks to the MC's straight attraction to her. But this didn’t bother the dude at all.
