Well it definitely stands out from the rest, but I do have to say about mermaids that actually it's the opposite, at least if we look at the bigger chunk of history. Mermaids were dangerous in their many forms in various mythologies, though also represented some kind of good luck in the sea. After Disney adapted Andersen's book the image of mermaids drastically changed and they became nice creatures. Same happened with fairies that originally were considered diabolical jesters that kept stealing humans to their magical realm beyond time.

I do have to wonder why exactly she is an elf. Even the song is called "Elf". The design is stunning, but you're right it's hard to get better than Deedlit. Her design is just simply perfect for a high fantasy character.

Experienced My first grand slam game.
Couldn't get tickets for the alcaraz and djokovic match but got tickets for Sabalenka match and it was great match of tennis.
I thought my queen was going to win in straight sets in a demolition job as she always does but it was a close thrilling match.
Also enjoyed the cool weather in Melbourne compared to the North.

Seasonal ones aside, I'm mostly "scavenging" by either watching old shows that I missed or didn't watch at all, or re-watching old anime from my childhood to give them a proper rating and re-add them to my list. Currently, City Hunter and the first Gundam.

Thank you too. I mostly celebrated with family and then just relaxed at home. When you're an adult, you don't have as many ideas for holidays.

Heya,

Yeah, the holidays have been rather hectic for me as well. Oh, that sounds fun. You still should check Hanasaku Iroha for more hotel anime, though.

I did actually watch the first season of 100 Girlfriends, so I think I'll continue it, but you're right about Aquarion. We'll see. Obviously, I am watching quite a lot, but really am most excited about Maomao and Senkuu back on the screens.
