I'll be watching over 30 new seasonal as always so it's difficult for me to cherry pick them, haha..My Christmas was like a whirlwind of chaos and disappointments. It was like I had a front-row seat to the circus and every act was an absolute letdown.
I watched the first episode of fate strange fake. Looks like I will like it as it's mystery and investigation also in absolutely loved the visuals specially the urban background
Anyway new anime season is around the corner so I can look forward to something for once. Any particular anime you are looking forward to or interested in for Winter 2025?
They had kazuha and ran acting like foodies to gulp down every sweets in Kyoto. Also the trick and motive was underwhelming.
I love the fillers and knew edogawa Rampo case will be a good one.
I still think that the characters involved in the case who should have reacted being shocked seeing detective Sato and Kobayashi sensei.
I guess Kudo Shinichi himself couldn't solve the mystery of inconsistent manga adaptations. Maybe the producers need to take a few pointers from us. I never dismiss the fillers —people who do, might miss out on the next great mystery .
Kind of reminded me the 7-th movie - Crossroad in the Ancient Capital with some added Magic Kaitou and Yaiba lore. I guess the last thing is a sort of teaser for the upcoming remake Shin Samurai-den Yaiba.
Too much cameos to count. My favourite was the Kaitou Corbeau one, I guess he is active now. Him being the brother of Yusaku Kudo was a bit surprising tho.
Exactly my thoughts, this movie is a lot like crossroads at the ancient Capital..
I also told you that I was expecting Conan and kid to be twins separated at birth and I was surprised that it was their fathers.
Also Yusaku saying Conan's mom has met him made me wonder did she cheat haha, you know how famous actresses are in real life..
Also are you looking forward for a new Canon episode next week? Man we get more and more fillers compared to before..

I'm just not into things from the dark ages.. I get PTSD if I see all that. It’s important for me to prioritize my mental well-being and choose anime that brings me joy of escapism . Anime set in the middle ages are harsh and unsettling setting, especially when it deals with themes of war and poverty and the quality of life back then..
I was so upset with similar arc in karakuri circus which was a flashback set in Bohemia Czech Republic.. People in despair and begging for moldy breads, things like that are too much.. I'm softie and I can't stand to watch people in pain.
