| Haven't noticed it the first time when I've read the manga, but Mechamaru shares a lot of similartities with Robot from Invincible. 1) Highly injured guy who can't even do stuff on his own and uses robot (puppet) bodies to go around 2) Falls in love with that one girl who's really special to him 3) Makes a deal to get a new healthy body |

Well we're finally here, JJK is back and we're going to head into one of the best arcs from any of the new-gen shounen. For the anime-onlies that remained patient and didn't read ahead in the manga, strap in because this episode is probably the last lighthearted episode of JJK we'll see, and the rest of the season is gonna be a rollercoaster. I'm hyped.
Good to see the main trio back and being goofy with each other, I loved all the comedic moments as they interacted with Yuji's old middle school classmate. Things got more serious with Mechamaru taking on Mahito, already we're jumping right into the action. We're off to a good start already and this season will continue to crescendo with each new episode. Can't wait for this ride.
New OP is a banger, bless King Gnu π the transition from the previous OP, which had that carefree summertime feeling, to this one, that's much more dark, mysterious, and eerie, perfectly fits the transition from the previous arc to this one. And the visuals of the respective OPs also perfectly reflect that as well.

| good episode. the second half was nice. mechamaur gained a perfectly fine body which is nice. we still don't know what the shibuya incident might be. i don't really know if mechamaur is capable of defeating mahito and geto with his eva, his chances seem very low. unless someone comes to save him which seems unlikely because of the viel. the comedy was lame in the first half though the teable tennis scene was amusing. the first half was good in conveying the friendship of the trio, everything is just like how we left at the end of season 1. next episode should be nice with all the action. |

Mechamaru got his body back, and he unleashed Ultimate Mechamaru, which reminded me a lot of Eren from AOT lol especially the way it roared |

| "You are my special." Really catchy OP with good visuals. This Shibuya arc will be fire. The first half of the episode was really wholesome. Ozawa and Yuji's backstory when they were in middle school was really sweet. Ozawa really blossomed into a beautiful amazonian. Yuji's interaction with Ozawa back then showed how nice and kind he really was. He still remembered her after many years. Utahime aged like fine wine and gave the trio a brief overview of their mission. Mechamaru looked straight out of a mecha from Neon Genesis Evangelion. He looked awesome! I like how smug Geto looked as he spectated Mahito and Mechamaru's fight. Geto is truly the biggest menace. |

| King Gnu's OP is good, but I can't help feeling like this is like Seaosn 1's 2nd OP Vivid Vice, a bit flat on the tunes. The ED is however, great. The main trio of Yuji, Megumi and Nobara are back, though this is the clear case of the calm before the storm. Though Mei Mei and Aoi Todo are still the cream of the crop, and "my brother" sure got bamboozled by Yuko Ozawa, whim she has changed quite a lot since her young days. Hah, having Megumi be Yuji's stand-in to answer for him, and Nobara will take any chance she can to summon him, and that's fast, though he recognizes Yuko immediately, not knowing that she has a crush on him, and him having a look on her despite her chubbiness. Despite that, their time together has moved on, that's an affirmative, and the trio are back on schedule. That siad, the mole being Mechamaru's real body of Kokichi Muta feeding intel to the curse users, both Mahito and Geto came to get him, and with the former using his Idle Transfiguration to battle him, in his ultimate form. Mechamaru is in a state of danger, though to tell Gojo of the Shibuya Incident plot that the curse users have plotted, he gave it his all to have a chance to win against Mahito. The Shibuya Incident plot begins its creepiness, here. |

| We are back with the main trio! I've been missing them. The Yuko stuff was random but it was still fun seeing those three interact with each other. I loved their reactions when Yuuji somehow recognised Yuko. This Mechamaru twist was a surprise. I can understand why he would want a normal body but I don't think he is going to survive this fight. |

| We're back in the present that's good. Anyway, if Gojo just killed Geto the first chance he got they wouldn't be in this situation or at least not as bad. Because there will definitely gonna be more causalities this time. That Shibuya plan thing sounds bad. |
