The Onepiece art style really annoys me sometimes, like why are the males all so varied and unique but the females are either nami copy and paste or fat, old and ugly :| Kokoro is my girl tho <3
I haven't read the manga at all, I just catch up on the recent eps every 6 months or so.

I've got sm anime, and even more manga on hold unfortunately, I don't mark them on mal bcs I try lie to myself that I'll finish them soon enough 😭

Yeah I probably will just spontaneously start db, someone casually recommended one piece to me and I started it that night without knowing anything except it was long, didn't even know it was about pirates haha. I have a huge soft spot for old anime and animation so the original db definitely appeals to me more bcs of that. Also the fact that I've watched all of op should be a testament to my ability to put up with atrocious pacing.

Welcome to the NHK is a phenomenal show when you binge it in the middle of an unsuspecting summer depressive episode, any other situation and I'm afraid it wouldn't hit as hard. I'd still recommend it though, especially if you like characters with dubious morals- which since you enjoyed citrus then I assume that you do lmao.
