Yeah... As my delayed reply may tell, I did indeed start university, haha. Honestly I'm not really vibing with student life as much as I thought I would. My expectations were quite different from reality. (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠) Getting to join the university's anime club has been pretty much the only redeeming quality when it comes to student activities, but I suppose I haven't been participating that actively to begin with. I had almost no lectures for the first few months that would've required my presence, so I've still been spending a lot of time in my hometown.

I actually watched the first season of Initial D in August and enjoyed it a surprising amount! I'm hoping to get to the later seasons soon... As for fall seasonals, I'm loving Dandadan and Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite so far. Dandadan is just as brilliant as I expected, truly the adaptation the manga deserves, and the latter took me completely by surprise. Touhai also has a certain charm to me with both the high-stakes mahjong elements I started learning the game last year because Rinne pushed my curiosity over to the dark side and now I'm hooked for real, I even play competitive and how unintentionally hilarious it can be, kind of in a "so bad it's good" way.

Thank you, don't worry about it! Moving out has been keeping me occupied with all sorts of responsibilities... I'm still getting used to living on my own, but I'm currently doing fine and hopefully will get accustomed to the new life soon. Hope you're well and in good health as well! In fact, this nendoroid literally cost less than the one I've bought from LOCAL RETAILERS even with the extra cost for the international shipping. 💀

AHHHH I love Thrill Addict so much, even more than I thought I would!!! It's exactly what I hoped it'd be both in terms of style and story. I always had this feeling that his solo would include a lot of rap and I'm glad to have been right! <3 As for the latter, the lyrics kind of read as if he was talking to his younger self with the core theme of breaking free from the chains of external expectations in order to let loose, take control of one's own life and feel a thrill – the song is almost like a reassurement that one day it'll all be okay. (இ﹏இ`｡) It's such a brilliant representation of his character that does him justice by showing off both the kind of idol and the kind of person he is. I also adore the instrumental: the 8D audio had me excited from the very beginning and I love how much audience participation potential it has with the clapping and call-and-responses (everybody say thank you Rinne Amagi for teaching me what "slake" means). Everyone's songs are great, in-character and also quite individualistic which I feel like works especially well in the case of Crazy:B but I've been listening to Rinne and HiMERU the most. Shisen Hold me tight actually sounds kind of like a karaoke song from the Yakuza series OST and I happen to love those, haha. Manifesting for ALKALOID asap!! They can't keep us waiting for a full roster TOO long... right?
