Agreed with your post here. I would easily put the first season of KnB above Slam Dunk. People are just really nostalgic about SD, the manga itself has it's fair share of things I considered flaws.

For quite a while now, I want to get into basketball (before watching Kuroko no Basket), but not having pay-tv (yet) NBA wasn't an option so far and german basketball isn't THAT bad, but not very good or interesting either.

If you don't mind, I would like to ask you another question regarding basketball, because you seem to know it quite well judging from your posts and also mentioned LeBron James a few times, who my question is about.

As someone from Germany I don't know the NBA too well, but I (somewhat) know him and a few superstars. A lot of people say that LeBron is the best player ever in the NBA.
Do you agree on that?
