| This was a thrilling episode, almost like a guerilla warfare with fighting in the darkness. I kinda like how this episode had a feeling of survival revolving around the cast and their situation. Episode really kept me at edge of my seat. |

| AHHHH the hot springs are a wonder, and having your dick and balls be healed by hot, natural water is the way to go. The 7th Division's soldiers rest on the laurels of Noboribetsu Hot Springs while finding more tattooed people as a gift given back to Lieutenant Tsurumi, and this is a danger point because Hijikata is presumed to be alive, awaiting information about the 7th Division. Unforuntately, coupled with the sound of the geta, with Warrant Officer Kikuta being on guard with the rancid smell of sulfur, a tattoo trace was found with Nikaido. The masseur's stakeout against Kikuta and Ariko is proving to be challenging, and in this cave full of ice stalagmites, they can't afford to play this safe while the masseur ran for his life, only to be consumed by an avalanche. Of course, there's Sugimoto and crew tasting grandma-chewed dumplings. Certainly, interesting for developments now. |

| It really is remarkable when a show can go a full episode (or multiple as is often the case here) without almost anything from the main characters and still be this compelling. It just goes to show how well written the story is (as long as it is progressing, I am assuaged), and how interesting even minor/new characters are. Fun. |

| Golden Kamuy is at its wackiest once again with how the episode started at the hot springs, with plenty of male nudity and "interesting" ways of enjoying the water hitting one's body parts. It wouldn't be Golden Kamuy if it wasn't so wacky, weird and funny all in one go now, would it? XD The action we had from the newer characters in this episode, Kikuta and Ariko, made for some compelling viewing as they had their work cut out in taking out the old man using the echoes of sound to pinpoint where his enemies are before making attempt to kill. Ariko's knowledge of the mountains played into his strategy so well that the shots of the guns caused an avalanche to occur, which killed the old man in the process. We did get to see Sugimoto, Asirpa and the rest of the crew in the last few minutes and, once again, we got to see the wacky side of this series again with the fermented rice creations from the old ainu lady, as well as Sugimoto feeding Shiraishi with rice from his own mouth. Weird, but wonderful and I wouldn't have it any other way! =P |

| I'd honestly forgotten that Toni was still alive and thought that we would never see him again, so this was pretty cool even if it was just to kill him off once and for all. Tsurumi has so many agents looking for the gold now that it's surely only a matter of time before they have all of the tattoos; I'm assuming the introduction of this new character means we're gonna see more of his efforts in conjunction with Tsurumi going forward. |

| Kikuta using that eyepatch tactic was wild, I’ve never heard of eyepatches being used for that myself so that was really cool, his collection of Russian pistols was cool as well, I really loved the amount of classic guns used in this one, that sound guy and his Mauser was cool too. It’s also interesting that both sides fighting in this episode aren’t really ones we want to see get the gold lol, but I was rooting for the 7th lads in this instance. Also Usami had good bits in this one, I don’t think you want testicular torsion but he definitely seemed into it lol. Also ending on the granny bit was great, love the classic Golden Kamuy comedy. |

| Bro, this show man lmao. Goddamnit Usami, Goddamnit Sugimoto and Shiraishi. The people Tsukishima has to work with, poor man. Though these 2 new characters trying to go back to Tsurumi seems sane enough. Aye RIP Toni. That eyepatch fact was mindblowing though lmao, I thought pirates just use em for the drip or they all coincidentally really just have one eye. But it makes a lotta sense, smart. We back to the Sugimoto gang and they're already doing some weird shit. Looks like Koito episode next, looking forward to that. |

| I miss the 1st season and some of the 2nd. Everything is becoming so convoluted with so many factions and people chasing skins, and skinning people, I liked the good old days of MC and MC getting to know each other and traveling and discovering themselves. |
