| Tamako with that blush lol. Tamahiko also truly cares about Tamako and shows his kindness. The journey to becoming a doctor isn't easy though. Also interesting to see Ryou Atsumi showing up in the story. She has a sort of playful personality but also fun to be around with. |

Now seriously, if anyone can do it, its her .. she struck me like a girl who can move mountains in her path if necessary. I haven't read the manga, but is this all of her ? She came and went by like nothing. "How must she feel when all the eyes are on her", she does not care, she is with you and that's all that matters to her, youre her world. Also the new girl's hot. Amelia-tan said: It will going to end soon don't you worry. Tamahiko's love for Yuzu is much stronger against her temptation. | That moment between Tamahiko and Tamako was really sweet, he actually loves his sister and it's probably the same for her, Yuzuki was so cute giving Tamahiko a birthday present and since it's the 1st time he even cried, but too bad his present got stolen by that very annoying thief girl, at least according to the preview for the next episode they'll find her soon |

| Great episode. Tamako for the first time in her life understood what Yuzu meant when she said her body moves automatically to do things for the people she loves. When Tamahiko got his first birthday present and was received his first ever birthday wish, I got a little emotional. The simplest of things can save the soul. I don't remember how far we are into the manga but can we cover the whole thing in one cour without it feeling rushed? |

| Tamako's decision to be a doctor is in no small part thanks to Yuzu falling sick for the majority of the last episode, and against the Shima family's will (like Tamahiko) she doesn't care if she gets ridiculed. The heart matters, but also her own ego fulfillment as well. The day before departure back home, and Yuzu appropriately make-doing a sleepover party between Yuzu, Tamako and Tamahiko. Tamako's such a cheeky and nice younger sister who is definitely aware of her own brother's shortcomings...plus that pat while she's asleep. Sept 1st of Taisho Year 11 (1922), and Tamahiko is looking forward to the future. The day where the peddlers sell their stock in the market, and Tamahiko just can't leave Yuzu alone to do all the work, like a husband should protect his future wife by all accounts. You could defo call this a date though just to do some marketing. The 1st of Sept is coincidentally Tamahiko's birthday as well, but of course his family heck cares about him, and Yuzu getting her hint from Tamako is like secrets between girls to formally celebrate a growing boy's heartpangs, his salvation truly lies through Yuzu. Almost had a lovey-dovey heart attack there... The girl who's been watching them from the village, and she's a sly one to take advantage of Tamahiko. That little thief though, we'll know soon enough what she's up to next week. |

| Great episode! Tamako wants to be a doctor… and marry a nobleman who will build her a clinic and build her stuff xD. Tamako’s blush was cute and I’m happy her and Tamahiko have made up and have gotten each other for support. Tamahiko and Yuzu were also stared at a lot in the village… feel sorry for them. People just assume he is a bad person instantly. Not very happy about the appearance of that new character. Want her to get out of this show QUICKLY! Hoping she gets killed in an accident or something… really don’t like her personality and she seems like trouble. Especially that she just barges into Tamahiko’s room. Looking forward to the next episode (and scared she will do something also…) |

| Intruder alert! While Tamako is off to become a doctor, we now get to deal with a thief. HOW DARE SHE steal that bookmark!!! I did enjoy the bonding between the siblings just before their goodbyes. Tamako really grew on me rapidly, just along side this show! |

| sigh* one annoying character leaves just for another one to show up. Not gonna lie, this Atsumi bitch legit ruined the enjoyment I was having from this episode. I mean, what's with this bad melodrama all of a sudden? As if having Tamahiko's father acting cartoonishly evil wasn't enough already. Not to mention I don't get why Tamahiko couldn't just tell Yuzu what was going on. Now it seems she will misunderstand the whole situation next episode. |
| I love Tamako, I hope we see her again later on. Give her more headpats Tamahiko. Tamahiko and Yuzu shopping together will never not be heartwarming and of course Yuzu giving Tamahiko his greatest treasure is super sweet, and yeah the bookmark too. Based on the OP I don't think green girl is stealing for the lulz, she's probably doing it for her family. Tamahiko is a pretty cultured lad, those books though ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Tamahiko should have told Yuzu the truth, but it's understandable why he didn't. I do that myself too sometimes, when I encounter a problem, I would rather try to fix it myself first before telling anyone. And losing the bookmark he just got is definitely not a good look lmao. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Yuzu's slowly but surely changing their hearts. Tamahiko going down to the village to help her was nice. Took him a while but he finally decided to go and help her. She's strong but it's best she doesn't overwork herself again. Speaking of strong, to handle that many people staring at you every time you go to the village to shop. On top of that, to do it for almost a year. That takes guts. The gift was a sweet moment but this kinda threw me for a loop. I thought all this time he couldn't move his right arm either. I guess he doesn't see the point of moving it often considering he can't use his hand.  He got his "stash" found by some mystery village girl. She ended up taking something more important than money though. On another note, what's with some parents in anime? Do they act like this to fuel their kid's hatred in hopes of making them more capable and independent or something? |

| Another solid episode. This show easily could have been straight moe, but I like how they delve into the darker side of this era's society. The fine balance between the cuteness and the suspense makes it great. |
| Wholesome episode on the main, glad Tamahiko came to spend time with Yuzu The birthday present scene is so cute, and bellflower really does suit him (the Hanakotoba meaning is honestly and endless love...he does remind me of the character who is attributed to the flower in a3! too...) Wonder what'll happen next episode seeming that Tamahiko is still in pursuit of the girl with his bookmark (and wallet) |
| I don't know how thick was the caste system in that era. Tamako wanting to become a doctor might be more difficult than what we thought because woman didn't have as much respect as we have today. Tamako's position as a daughter of Shima might also prove as a hurdle if the story ever come to her again. But admirable goal regardless. So Tamahiko should give her more head pats because their feeling of sibling bond is actually mutual. The way the other villagers treat Tamahiko and Yuzu were pretty much expected. And that's why we should never judge people by its surface alone. Tolerance, people. Listen to their story first. But I hope Tamahiko and Yuzu will interact more with the villagers and eventually become part of them despite Tamahiko's status as a dead person. The new girl seems like a not so respectable person. But looking at how Tamako was initially, I will listen to her story first. Every person must have a reason for their action, whether good or bad. |

| His sister Tamako did change from the first time she appeared and I'm happy about that :) and also I'm glad that she heard Tamahiko's thoughts and that he didn't actually hate her but loved her the most in his family :D Now for the new character, right now she's kinda sus but meh you never know what'll happen and how they'll suddenly change later on....Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Lots of stuff happened this episode. Tamako leaving and her being comforted by her onii-chan for the first time. And Yuzu giving Tamahiko a birthday gift for the first time in his life, that's a sweet and lovely scene. So umm who the fuh is that girl? Gotta be the bitch in this lovely anime, and no Yuzu don't get an impression of him cheating on you! |

| Tamahiko was too proud and too ashamed to admit that the gift given to him got stolen. Relatable in any era, everybody especially for young adults who would rather take care of things themselves than ask for help or admit they made a mistake. |

| Wow, I hate her. Even before that ending scene, she was already pissing me off. Breaking and entering, destruction of property, and then theft to finish it off. Can we throw her in jail yet? I'm the type that whenever I see personal space being invaded I get pissed. So everything she did just annoyed the hell out of me. She even had to ruin the happy part of the episode by stealing the bookmark. I'm with the MC on this one. You can take his wallet or whatever but the bookmark is crossing the line. On the bright side, I was actually tearing up during that present scene. DAMN ITS SO CUTE!!!! |

| Finally Tamako now getting along and closer with her brother, the siblings moments + Yuzu were really wholesome and cute.Tamahiko silencely pattingTamako's head in sleep while being honest were adorable. That funny when the other day before Tamako left the villa, she told him that she actually still awake when he patted her head before XD. The cat also got a name now, Haru :D. As always Yuzu keep bringin her sweetness and caring in this episode, with rememberin and celebrating Tamahiko's birthday even giving him a cute present, a bookmark with purple trumpet flower pattern that she meant it as Tamahiko representation. That was really soothing his heart because in the past nobody celebrating and care about his birthday even his parents. That was a heartfelt moments for him and he decided to really treasure the present from Yuzu and hugged her really tight with tear on his eyes. Just after that heartfelt wholesome moment, suddenly a robber girl(Ryou) intruded his room, the girl seems to followed him since he going shopping with Yuzu in the village before. Knowing he is a rich boy from prestigious family, The girl try to get closer and tease him. Embarassed Tamahiko didn't realized she went for his wallet and steal it. After awhile Tamahiko realized both his wallet and the bookmark from Yuzu get stolen, he didn't care about his wallet but the bookmarks is precious for him and decided to chase after the girl. Well, it seems another drama coming in let's see where this goes. |

| That b*tch just ruined the day for me right at the end and not just for Tamahiko. Them people looking at both of them. Who the hell are they even the doctor and assistant to talk and look at them like that they know the things they've gone through especially for Tamahiko. These ignorant fools know nothing. Also the father is pure heartless to his son. A trash to society. I feel bad for Tamahiko, but thankfully, an angel which is Yuzu is now there with him. At least there's a teensy weensy bit of heart from the trash of a father. I am not looking forward to the next episode because of that b*tch. |
