| A comedy vampire anime? Sign me up! So far, I love episode 1. Animation is pretty decent as expected of Madhouse, and the OP is good while the ED is pretty standard. We will have a comedy duo of Saitama and Lelouch so there's that. |

| I LIKED IT A LOT!! it's just a lighthearted comedy about a vampire hunter and a vampire who sucks at being a vampire. what more can you possibly ask for? i think it was pretty funny, the intro was good and i think the characters have a lotta potential definitely going to continue to watch and maybe start reading the manga. |

| Some parts of the episode made me laugh, other parts didn't. Seems pretty hit or miss for me so far, but I'm still interested in seeing where this anime goes. |

| Huh... well that was pretty disappointing. The humor moves too fast and doesn't allow a ton of punch from the set-ups. The tsukkomi doesn't really work on either level; Ronaldo just feels like a mirror to the boke and the more deadpan tsukkomi are so flat it just kills the scene. Might stick around an episode for the waifu that's to come but otherwise this feels like an early drop candidate. |

| I absolutely loved this. The comedy was great, I love Draluc and Ronaldo already, it’s honestly exactly what I was hoping it would be. I can see myself laughing nonstop at future episodes. It’s the perfect goofy comedy imo, very excited to see more. The OP and ED were both very good as well, I can definitely see this being a favorite by the end of the season. I’m kinda sad to see this didn’t work for a lot of people, I was laughing the entire episode personally, ah well, comedy is like that I guess. |

| I THINK it will be fine for most people, but for me the humour isn't QUITE clicking, I like some good old fashioned slap stick comedy but in this case it's on the border of being childish. Hope the rest of you enjoy this, but it's a drop for me |

| It was ok I guess. I really liked the deadpan delivery of the kid's dialog and when him insulting Draluc made him die. It's really heavy on the slapstick, I am wondering if they can make other forms of humour work. |

| Oh yeah, I watched this yesterday on a whim because Madhouse. Well, not a big fan, the comedy felt forced & repetitive and it was a pain to finish the episode. Although, I think it got the light-hearted atmosphere and tone right. Might or might not stick around for the next episode |

| I liked this episode a lot more than I thought I would, it's a little clever and the matchup is dumb but works perfectly considering how causal this is lol. Guitar dude situation was funny af too loool. Anyways, to more! Not sure why the score is low too lol. |

| Really love this show. This has so much more better comedy than the other supposed comedy that I'm watching, Mieruko-chan. It has been so long since I've watched something with this kinda classic animation with enjoyable dumb comedy. Love the OP, it's so enjoyable. The ED is good too. |

| Okay, so the vampire is an interesting concept for a comedy character, but I'm not too sure about the execution. I expected death to be something that knocks Draluc out until, like, the next scene. But upon defeat, he revives in like, five seconds. He can even sometimes talk while dusted, so this whole "dying" thing really loses its bite. The Vampire Dies in No Time? More like, "the Vampire Respawns in No Time." They keep trying their hardest to play up the character as "what a weakling!!!" but I'm pretty sure that this guy, in practice, is indomitable, if not immortal. The only time he was implied to be in meaningful danger was when he stated he would have been 'a goner' had his corpse remained in the sunlight. Draluc is like a elder, but with all of the "I've fallen" and none of the "I can't get up!" As for other forms of comedy, this episode seems pretty rote. I'm really not a fan of 'retort' humor, and this anime really piles on the shots of Ronaldo's barking head popping in from the side of the screen. I feel like I've seen everything this anime has to offer, in one episode. Is that why comedy anime such as this one, make a habit of stuffing as many characters as possible into the OP, typically doing something wAcKy without initial context? as if to promise the viewer, "We have many more chara. gimmicks epic laffs up our sleeves! โ" Also, side note: โโโk the gamer kid. All my homies hate the gamer kid. Ugly-โโs face, constantly disrespecting, freeloading, or manipulating the MCs, and the worst part: he never emotes, ergo he cannot react comedically to anything, ergo he is never used as the butt of a joke, ergo he is immune to the whims of fate dealt by this anime, ergo he is incapable of receiving any form of comeuppance. The only good thing he has done for humanity was when he (reportedly) (technically) saved Draluc's life (supposedly). |

| This was funnier than I was expecting, is an old school anime meeting modern times, loved the screwball-comdey pace this was going and a good balance between slapstick and quips, I thought Ronaldo just was going to be the one who scream/points out the silliness of the other one but if that autobiography gag is to go by or the way he carried his interrogation on why the kid got kidnapped he seems to be as silly as Draluc. When Draluc point out John was in room full of trap I was surprised it was true and not the typical "let me change you the past to make it funny" joke; the whole convenience store plot was probably was sold this show for me, okay maybe the line of "You would have killed a cosplaying tourist" that got me giggling like an idiot was the moment this episode was going to get a good response from me. I hope the following episodes are able to mantain the rhythm. John is so cute. |
| i'm ambivalent right now. like all comedy it's really hit or miss and has its moments. i thought the animation was a bit weird. not bad, just not what i'm used to. |
