Wow. You are this familiar with mangaka's works? I've read so much that it's impossible to keep track.

Yes, Die is incestuous but the shock factor wore off pretty quickly for me bc incest is something that happens often in BL, esp threesomes, for whatever reason.

It's easy to be over anime, you know. Watch the top 10 anime from every genre and you've watched basically all anime there is to watch, bc there's little to no variety in most anime. They're generic trash.

I added Internet Love. Psychedelia was already in my list and I've already read Uruwashiki Shuuen. It was actually good and re-reading it reminded me of another horror BL I'd read. It's more psychological in nature, though.

Here's one more

Live actions (with subtitles) are a big no for me. They take up too much of my energy after I reach home from the office. I'd rather watch something that requires less effort.

Hahahaha!

Let's begin our conversation from a fresh start. Do you have any good and short (10 chapters or less) BL recommendations for me? Nothing rapey.

Why are you asking? You obviously don't care ;/

You never got back to me :(

Don´t worry about it, I have also been taking my time this past few months with my replies; I have also been mostly logging to update the anime I am watching and manga I am reading. Hence, don´t feel bad about it :)

Nothing bad, not one of my teeth has hurt and that has been a good highlight of the year hahaha. What happened to you? What was so traumatizing about it? Was it a bad experience at the dentist's office?

Yep, only three chapters in I think a book of a bit more than 200 pages; it wasn´t long, but I prefer to read an entire chapter than leave it half-read, and it was a bit time-consuming. I am a bit stubborn and I read entirely, but I read the last chapter like I was on a race hahaha. I just checked, and the movie Call By Your Name was adapted from a book of the same name, and it has a sequel. Although long books can be incredible, too-long chapters are a bit discouraging, so I understand why you drop the book.
No Longer Human is dark, and don´t expect anything bright out of it; imagine reading a sad chapter in which content gets forgotten after a bomb drops by the end of it.
Hourou Musuko calls my attention a bit, I know the story follows the life of several transgender characters throughout their childhood, but I am not that interested so far, no offense. I read two chapters of Bokura no Hentai, the first one was OK I guess, but the second one was a bit too much, so I didn't pick it; what did you think of it? Getting married knowing perfectly well you are not who you want to be has to be an example of killing yourself in life; that plot sounds very depressing.

Really? I honestly feel this X-men looks a bit more normal than the ones in the first adaptation, though maybe that is because in the first series they always wore their attires hahaha. To be honest, I preferred this Cyclops design hahaha.
I am not trying to sound like a hater, but I feel that is a bit of Marvel Cinematic Universe; one thing is having a movie once a year or every two years, or maybe having an animated series which tends to be more carefree than being stuck in a cinema for hours. MCU drops movies and series almost every month, and while I don´t question their quality, it is quite a task to get into the current Marvel Phase. If something, I am more than willing to watch the Deadpool franchise hahaha. Moreover, not letting a franchise end, or die, is something very common, just look at Pokemon anime, Naruto, Dragon Ball, and many other franchises that are even older than their viewers.

I know we said this already, but even though I haven´t watched Youn Royals, I love how normalized being LGBT was; as you say, their problems weren´t because of being gay, bisexual, or queer, but for other issues that may have been related to their families or backgrounds.
Yes, in the old Interview With the Vampyre Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst kissed, and I think they are almost 20 years apart in age, and she was not even a teen back then. Hence, why I say that back in the day there were way too many movies where parents allowed their kids to be intimate with older actors.
Again, yes hahaha; in the adaptation of the first Pokemon generation there are scenes with real animals; the ones I remember are fishes and a mongoose.

I still remember when in The Last Airbender Zuko went from being white to being Indian, while Katara and Sokka who were natives went to be whites; I don´t think I'll ever watch that movie, but I believe in the critiques that it was a waste of time.
I recently bought the first three books after finding a great deal! My jaw almost fell to the ground when I saw the price, and I decided to give this franchise a chance. Now I will be able to give a proper opinion.
I am not a fan of Harry Potter by any means, especially not because of that nasty writer behind the books, but trying to emulate the success of that franchise by rushing things was not a good idea at all. I know studios look for what is marketable, but I wish they saw potential and hired someone who loved those franchises and knew how to translate them into the big screen. I wonder if killing that character from the Percy Jackson book series was because the studio knew they fucked up.
Game of Thrones is a complex case for me; I know the original series was awesome and I just watched some episodes, I have zero doubts about George R.R. Martin's talent and greatness in the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise, but the hype back on the day was a bit too much for me, but I would lie if I sat it doesn´t call my attention. So, is the prequel series not living up to the standards?
I have heard nothing short of splendid from Tongari Boushi no Atelier, and I have no doubts about it so I will definitely watch the anime. I am glad to hear a manga you liked is receiving the love it deserves, though I am not so sure about a manga I love anime adaptation; the manga A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School is forever one of my favorites, an anime adaptation will air in October, and there were some things about the teaser trailer that didn´t look that great. The VA for the main characters suited them very well, and I loved they used the newer art of the manga, but I still have some reservations since I want this story to receive the love it deserves.

Yes, sometimes I remember a story where he was present and it hits very hard to realize he is no longer here; like, yeah we may not have been the best of friends, but we still spent some break time and classes together.
I don´t think I will ever get over her to be fair; she was my baby, I know she will never come back, but I am doing fine, I will be fine. Don´t worry about it, I think it has helped to talk about her.

I don´t want to have any expectations, but I want to believe it will be a good, or at least a decent, anime adaptation; I have the manga on my On-Hold list to wait for more chapters to be released, but there are scenes that will need a lot to work, such as fake Hikaru showing his innards. I hope it gets adapted by a good studio and by someone who knows how horror works. I am scared of the result hahaha.

Hahaha, I know; I swear my first story plagiarized Bleach, and the second one Katekyo Hitman Reborn with bits of other series hahaha. Something interesting, in my second book I wrote almost 1000 pages.
Oh no! I feel so sorry for you, that sounds like a writer's worst nightmare; I never watched The Vampyre Diaries, but I know about the plot where the vampire brothers fell in love with the same girl who looked like the lover of one of them, and then that woman returned. Wasn´t there any way to salvage things? Maybe by adding another couple who started as a side and then became prominent and more popular, or for one of the two MCs to show a darker and twisted side?

I just checked to confirm it because I forgot this little fact, but it is true; I Googled Osamu Dazai, Atsushi Nakajima, and Ranpo Edogawa, and the BSD characters were the first ones to appear.
Really? Bungou Stray Dogs is splendid, it is one of the few stories I can say it doesn´t have a bad episode and just keeps improving. Season 5, the latest one, is just perfection; I swear that in the second-to-last episode, I just couldn´t picture the main characters winning at all, all hope was lost at that point.

I feel the biggest mistake there was not airing the movie after a year at least; that way they could have proliferated with maybe recap movies, ovas, maybe another season with new cast members, and a lot more. Sadly, MAPPA chose to animate more series than they could handle, overexploited their animators, and after YoI placed at the top, the higher-ups tarnished the name of their own company.
Yep, Zombieland Saga is a MAPPA product, one of their best anime and I am willing to die on that hill, and so far there haven´t been any updates on the movie. I need a conclusion to that anime... MAPPA better not screw it this time :)
Hazbyn Jun 3, 5:28 PM
I am glad to hear your root canal is doing better, and almost over; I get that feeling, one really wants to take care of themselves, but the prices aren´t affordable at all.
Yeah, it was a problem of sensitivity, but now it is almost over. I am not planning on going back to that dentist anytime soon; the last time I went, it was a painful nightmare.

Hahaha, I am dying hahaha, that is so true; I mean, I have heard people saying they don't want to be with a man, but I cannot fathom why a straight man would say they don´t want to be fucked, how did the idea cross their mine? They subconsciously know they are bottom.

To be completely honest, I am not sure if I liked In the Miso Soup; it started in a certain way that set the atmosphere in which the MC lived, but in the second chapter shit went down drastically. It's important to mention the book has only three, very long, chapters.
Aside from that novel, and manga as well, I have read some Japanese novels and light novels. I read No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai, and it was gloomy and shocking. I also read the LN of Magical Girl Raising Project after watching the anime, and it was way better than the animation. I am not particularly fond of the Magical Girl genre, but it was mixed with the Survival Game genre that I do tend to enjoy. I got a copy of Battle Royale by Koushun Takami that I am planning to read.

I am not going to lie, after rewatching some kid sitcoms I enjoyed while I was young, I realized how mean and awful characters were written. I don´t want to criticize American content that much, since there are always exceptions to the norm.
Yeah, the original X-Men The Animated Series received a sequel nearly 30 years later called X-Men '97; let me just say, it was a masterpiece, I loved each episode, and made me hate Disney a bit less unfortunately. I must say, in this new series Cyclops actually looks hotter, and it's a bit sassy hahaha. I personally like Gambit a bit more.

Oh, I completely get that feeling; I went into a very long phase where Haikyuu was everything I talked about, and even though I didn´t want to be the type of anime viewer who compared Sports anime with his favorite anime, I still ended up doing it when there wasn´t something I didn´t like. It's weird how a show gets show so invested that subconsciously ruins other shows that share some similarities. My curiosity won over me when I saw Young Royals spoilers and pictures of scenes, so I went to the comments and a lot of people commented how much they liked that Wilhelm didn't receive a coming-out storyline; in other words, the show presented him as someone normal who fell in love, like everyone else. I just saw the art of the Young Royals' main couple, and they look so cute! Is there actually a revolution in the story though?
Yeah, the amount of times children are cast for adult situations in shows and movies is quite, and unfortunately, big; I mean, I can understand that one character in the book/movie Interview With the Vampire one of the characters is a little girl who turned into a vampire and lived like one for some centuries maturing mentally but never aging, but it was still weird that an 11 years old was cast for the role and had to kiss someone almost 20 years older than her. I wonder what are parents thinking when they sign their kids for that.
Hahaha, aw, poor thing; I can understand if he was horrified by learning about Poke meat; I mean, the anime, during its first season, introduced real animals and bugs, so maybe meat comes from them hahaha.

In that sense, Kaneki having a very simple design actually suits him a lot; as you say, he went from being a regular college student to a man-eating species, physical and psychological torture, and quite some other stuff that left him mentally unstable for several arcs throughout the manga, that I haven´t read but that I know mostly thanks to curiosity hahaha. There were indeed character designs that looked unique and different from the beginning, but most of them were already mentally unstable beings. I think it was said that there were some Ghoul who actively hunted humans, while others ate the remains of those who were already dead.

I never watched the first live-action film of Avatar, but from some clips, I have seen, that movie is best to be forgotten; it's weird how there was a double racebending, Katara and Sokka were interpreted by white actors, and Zuko by an Indian actor.
I heard the second movie of Percy Jackson mixed the story of two or three books, and maybe that's why they killed such an important character so soon. Still, it was not a good move; if the first movie received good critiques, they shouldn´t have rushed things.
I feel the failed attempts of movie adaptations of several book franchises are that the studio was trying way too hard to be the producers of the new Harry Potter.

Yeah, that always hit hard; an upperclassman from college died 2 years ago, and while we weren´t best friends, we spent some time together. It hits hard when I remember a moment when he was there or appeared out of nowhere because then I get hit with the notion he is no longer here.
In truth, my parents are technically the owners of our cats because they brought them here, but I spent the most time when; still, the sudden death of our cat hit us all equally.

I know, I read it hoping to get more depth into Sora and Hinata's relationship, hoping they were at least dating hahaha, but nothing happened. Yeah, something is something; we know they loved each other, Hinata saved his teacher from becoming a monster, and Sora was able to live in a happy environment without his abusive parents.
It was interesting to see how Sora was based on a real-life figure; though it is a bit macabre in a way. It's not that I am complaining or judging, but I just realized how in this time and age there are so many groups who justified and admire murderers, rapists, and kidnappers, and it was creepy.
By the way, did you see the news? The Summer Hikaru Died is getting an anime adaptation! I am honestly shocked, the plot is good enough to make a great horror story. I only hope they don´t omit or rush things to give the season an end when the manga is still ongoing.

It was a real phone...

I think everyone wants to write a book at some point; whereas an autobiography written with different names, a romance, a fiction, or something to leave behind. You made me remember when I was watching Bleach and wrote a book hahaha; I remember writing two books filled with plagiarism from the anime I was watching at the time hahaha.
I hope you can write your book; I read some strategies for writing books, such as writing chapters or scenes you are eager to develop and then going backward.
I am honestly starting to think it does; recurring dreams about high school are mostly traumatic hahaha. I have also dreamed about being in HS and forgetting my books and notebooks; the worst ones are when I am in the middle of a test, the ring bells, and I don't even have a full page with full answers.

Exactly! She worked, and she had to be paid, period. It doesn´t matter if the bosses hated her, it's illegal not to pay for her work. I hope she receives her income.
After rewatching Zack and Cody, yeah hahaha, school doesn´t teach you how to deal with people in power; just to suck it up, accept it, and keep doing what you are doing. Still, maybe you are right, maybe your friend misunderstood the conversation, and she was talking about someone else.

It is necessary to do that sometimes, especially with how many movies and shows share the same names. I remember a girl saying she was studying literature in college and loved Bungou Stray Dogs, but the anime made it hard to look up several authors because only the biographies of the characters appeared hahaha.

I watched Yuri on Ice when it aired on TV, and I liked the character's interactions; my favorite part was the opening song, it is a masterpiece that I still hear from time to time. With that being said, I feel the dancing sequences were a bit stiff; nonetheless, it was still a nice anime. Still, it was a shitty move from MAPPA to cancel the movie, especially since everyone says Yuri on Ice is what made the studio so known.
I am a bit worried about the fate of Zombieland Saga; there haven´t been any updates on the movie, and there are still quite some questions to be solved.
dayooooon May 4, 8:33 AM
People always hated people/stuff which they didn't understand and what is "abnormal" in their point of view :/

Omg when I see the info that SOMEONE so young died I'm kinda surprised and sad. And disappointed. Because I think there is people who should have died instead of them (like Putin lmao, or some shitty people) but no, death is taking good creators of music, actors, even mangakas and other good people. I know wishing death is BAD but I noticed that Death is unfair to do that lmao.
Hmm I have to give that movie a chance then.

haha that's Ben. Our korean kpop star (jk lol). I want to be Five, his character doesn't give a fuck and give a fuck at the same time because he want to save those idiots from the end of the world they always attract lol
Btw did you watched on Netflix Baby Reindeer? OMG that was really good!
Hazbyn Apr 24, 12:30 AM
I don't remember it very well, but it was an iced cotton that the dentist put on my teeth; it hurt like hell. I hope your root canal treatment goes well, I cannot start imagining how painful it must have been.

Hahaha, it's interesting to mention that; the other day I saw a meme that said -No one cares more about gay couples than homophobic- which is frankly very real. I wonder how much to this day think that sexuality is a choice.

Hahaha, no, that was my mistake; The Shadowhunters Chronicles is written by Cassandra Clare, and In The Miso Soup is a book written by a Japanese author called Murakami Ryu.
I wanted to read In The Miso Soup because I bought it last year and I was curious about it; was not what I expected to be honest. I honestly pictured the main characters as Sung Jin-Woo's initial appearance from Solo Leveling, and Tonpa from HxH. I know it is a weird mix, but it was the mental image I got hahaha.

Indeed, American shows, novels, comics, and webcomics are incredible; I don´t want to say everything is bad regarding movies, but since they have finite time, and several scenes got caught due to time, there aren´t chances to see the full potential of them.
You may be right; season 8 wasn´t the best, but the final episodes were splendid. Plus, without Andre Braugther things will not be the same.
Speaking about American shows; my brother let me use his Disney+ account. I hate Disney a lot but damned they did a great job with X-men '97. I watched the original animated series, it had some corny dialogues, but it was as good as I remembered; '97 is such a nostalgic and well-executed sequel. I don´t read the comic book series, but I am aware of some plots and characters, and so far it's one of my favorite sequels ever.

I must say I was kind of crazy in past anime seasonals, but now I calmed myself down a bit; Kamierabi was from the Fall 2023 season, and it was a weird but kind of enthralling show.

Oh yeah, I have heard of Young Royals for quite some time; I know a bit about the show, mainly that the MC is a prince who fell in love with a classmate. It's nice to hear that the main characters of the show do look like teenagers, and act like them, and the show is still good.
Well, at the end of the day, is the decision of the studio the way they want to portray the teen drama. Still, the biggest issue with those shows is when they used actual teenagers for adult situations; I remember Kaya Scodelario, Effy from Skins, made a video in which she stated how she was underage on the show and had to do adult stuff.
Hahaha, that can be traumatizing hahaha; what did your little brother say when you told him about Poke meat? It's weird to realize that by oneself; like, we see characters eating meat, but where does that come from? hahaha.

In a way, Kaneki's design isn't that hard to draw, I think it is like the typical "normal" look. Even with white hair, his design is pretty standard. Just change a bit the eye shape and several characters look like him.

I haven't watched the show yet, though I am aware they changed the ethnicity of the main female lead; it's weird to think that for such a varied story they change the characters. It makes me remember the first Live Action movie of Avatar where Zuko, a white character, was Indian, and Katara and Sokka, who were dark-skinned in the cartoon, were white.
Oh no, it sucks to hear they removed plot points; I haven´t read the books yet, but I hate so much when that happens with adaptations from manga and books.
Were the movies so bad? I heard the first one was enjoyable, but the second one combined some books and was a mess. Maybe that is why people, maybe even readers, are enjoying the show a bit more.

You know, that is a weird moment of life; when a relative you never even met dies, and you see everyone so sad. I remember a relative from another city died some years ago, I heard he always had a bad relationship with his father and siblings; he died a Friday and was found a Sunday. Still, I think several relatives didn´t see him for several years, and his death was quite a big deal for everyone.
I miss her a lot, I still remember her daily, but I have been better in that area; I am not as depressed as I was.

I was the same! I noticed the manga page in MAL, and the status was finished; I had four chapters left to read, and when I resumed it I didn't think things could end in such a short amount of chapters.
I agree the final chapters felt way too rushed; like, when Hinata time-traveled to save his teacher from becoming a traumatized psycho obsessed with death. While I consider things could have ended with some more chapters, I am so happy Sora was able to find a nice place to live away from his parents.

Exactly, the number 2 button came off my cellphone. In my defense, I was still a kid.

At least in my country Disney+ and Star+ are now merged, and to get the latter you have to pay for the former. There used to be a Star channel some years ago, which replaced the Fox channel, but it was removed from regular TV after Disney acquired the rights to Fox content.

Really? A competition of what? I hope you can classify; it's amazing to take part in a contest. I hope everything goes well!
It's hard not to live without alarms; at some point, they feel like a necessary thing, and that ignoring them is just going to make you late for everything hahaha. Sometimes I have recurring dreams of going back to high school, and I am going late, so when I wake up I remember I am not going there anymore and can breathe again hahaha.
Extended warrants are a huge scam, but my computer is doing better as of now.

It's weird when adults don't realize how privileged they are; at some point, one starts thinking about those issues, but I guess depending on the wealth you grow with makes it harder for you to realize that not everyone lives in the same way. I cannot believe that not even your boss was getting paid by the CEO; the person in charge was really outrageous, I am glad to hear that you all gathered and complained together.
On another note, your former classmate sounded a bit weird; I wasn´t there to see it in first person, but if you say you were being friendly and she thought you were flirting with her, then I believe you. If her brother says she is psycho, then I believe him as well.

Indeed, it's interesting how many movies, shows, and stories are named Monster. It makes things a bit hard to find after a while; like, you have to search using the publication date as well as the director hahaha.
Give me some time and I will watch it; since I am currently enjoying some old shows on Disney+. Damn you, Disney!

By the way, did you see the announcement of the Yuri on Ice movie cancelation? I watched the anime, and although I wasn´t the biggest fan, I am still shocked.
dayooooon Apr 23, 6:41 AM
When your words help to try to change their closed minds it's a win win sitution, but there is some people who - as you said, don't even want to accept the fact that they can be/are wrong because of their pride. Well, fuck them period
Oh I see. That is relly sad that some of them stopped transition just because others... Maybe someday people gonna mind their own business and try to understand others. We live in a hatefull times BUT I am fucking sure we are too far from the good times saddly. I will not say more about hate because I am hatefull person myself sometimes and don't wanna be a hypocrite tho lmao.

Lol, yes there is a lot of good manga stories which should be animated but then people cry that the anime was shit and manga was better -__- I've read Migi to Dali like two or three years ago (from Sakamoto desu ga? author who have saddly passed away) and I was really surprised when they announced anime adaptation - and THIS adaptation was really good. It was like "movable" manga hahah. And the plot is bizzare to other anime we see these days I think. I'm saying about that title because the manga I read never gonna have an adaptation and I don't read titles who have a BIG chance to get one. If it comes to "Kaibutsu" I have this movie on my PTW list but I can't find it online with polish subtitles lmao. And I am afraid that plot is sad because the movie seems like a rollercoster of negative things :( Is it like that? You can spoiler me a little 👍

Oh you said earlier that you watched The Umbrella Academy and several days ago I just rewatched the third season because I forgot what was happening there lol. Which character are your fav btw? Mine is Five and Klaus lol

I FEEL YOU AF. When I see the threads on forum section I have a delirium. And then I remember myself that in reality most of anime/manga enjoyer are just really toxic and stupid :)) SRSLY.
dayooooon Apr 15, 6:52 AM
For sure they wouldn't do it just for "fun" or to some other not reasonable reason. I'm always trying to understand people. Unless they are sexist, homophobics and other scum walking on that world. When I see those people I have in my mind illegal thoughts including them lol. Idk if I understand you well but I thought you mean that non-binary people not doing gender correction (I just name it in polish term but in english it sounds bad. Or maybe it's also correct in eglish? Idk. Most people in Poland use it like "she\he CHANGED gender and that is bad too because you can change pants or shirt not gender so in polish that word "correction" sounds more preferable) because they can't decide what they prefere but probably I misunderstand your words. I mean they don't feel like getting an operation because they don't feel the need to do it and just not care about in what form people will address them.

To be honest I did't watched shows who were cancelled and I have only one tittle in mind - "Raising Dion" (on Netflix). It was canceled after two seasons. It was good but it wasn't that deep of a show hah. You know what I'd want to be canceled for GOOD for AMEN and for the rest of our life? ISEKAI anime with ECCHI or stupid panty shots of 10 y.o girls or even 15 y.o with bigger breast than one of my lung. But we will never get rid of them since this shit sells too good T.T
dayooooon Apr 13, 5:05 AM
She just should keep to yourself those transphobic statements. If people don't even try to learn about stuff they're just stupid. Since years there is a lof of research about transgender subject but if someone is close minded and know "better" no doctors, no reaserches can help those closed and conservative minds.
I have netflix for free (with my cousin lol) and I don't watch there nothing new recently. There is nothing interesting for me right now. I'm only waiting for the last season of The Umbrella Academy in summer.

True. We have to wait for second or other seasons like 3 years even! lol. I can't believe there was like 32367 seasons and they were like year after year lol. Amazing and admirable at the same time.
dayooooon Apr 6, 6:25 AM
Totally agree. New technical products suppose to help people with work not totally replace them. But we live in times where people kinda like to have be "puted everything on a plate" you know what i mean? Like have satisfaction and get money without doing that much of a hard work. Idk maybe I'm too harsh right now...

:o I didn't know about this propaganda book with fake pseudo wtf?? Is she really wrote a book to talk shit and disinformation about trans people? I didn't follow that drama that much tbh. There is even people who think that Harry Potter book was anti feminist, racist and other -st and -phobic lol. It's too much for me.
Hmm then maybe you should treat Netfilx's Wednesday like non canon or even like from other dimension and time loop girl haha

Smallville was broadcasted from 2001 to 2010. The story was about young Klark Kent (Superman. Ofc Tom Welling who played Klark was like 24 yo then or so, playing a teenager lol). The show was quite popular back then.
Hazbyn Apr 3, 9:27 PM
Tell me about it; I went the other day to the dentist, I had a toothache and I thought it was a cavity, but it turned out to be sensitive teeth. Long story short, the dentist did a cleaning and it hurt like, forgive my French, a motherfucker.

It sucks to hear that, I know material things can be replaced but no one ever talks about how much effort and work cost a person to have his own properties. I wish I could be like that; when there is a quake at night I always end up waking up.

Hahaha "I may be bisexual, nah; I am probably just hungry"; well, as long as she is happy with herself then that's all that matters. I can understand her reasoning though: she is married, she has kids, she already has a life, and maybe grew up thinking with another notion of what bisexuality means and it is not interesting.

No, the Shadowhunters are not over yet; so far there are 4 sagas completed, one that has 2/3 books published, and the final saga, The Wicked Powers, will start getting published I think in 2025.
I finished the first trilogy, the Infernal Devices, and I will start reading the second saga, The Last Hours, after finishing a book I am reading, In the Miso Soup.

I lowkey agree with what you are saying; I have laughed a lot while watching American sitcoms or comedy programs such as SNL, but there are times I just cannot get what they are talking about. I understand there are inner jokes only US citizens will get, and I can´t judge them since is like that everywhere.
One example I recall is an adaptation of Abraham Lincoln's life that I think was nominated for an Academy Award; maybe for Americans, it was deep and perfect, but for the rest of the world it was just a biography and its nomination didn´t make that much sense.
With Brooklyn 99 there are still some dialogues that I didn´t understand; such as when Hitchcock and Scully didn´t report a potential witness because he was undocumented, and Rosa mentioned what I think was an institution called ICE. I looked up for it but I didn´t find what it was.
Andre Braugher's passing still makes me feel awful; he was such a great actor, and his dead-pan character was so funny and wholesome. After finishing the show I was waiting for a sequel, but I guess that is never going to happen without him; I hope he is resting in peace.

I feel that one anime that experimented with its characters was Kamierabi; the animation was a bit weird, but you get used to it after a while. I just enjoyed how nasty and plainly awful the characters were; they were mostly teenagers, and teenagers can be extremely selfish, centered, and violent, which I consider was explored interestingly. The season ended on a cliffhanger that I consider was done perfectly, and raises a lot of questions about what will happen in season 2.

I swear I just remembered Power Rangers and how old some of its actors were in the first seasons and still portrayed teenagers for quite some years hahaha; I recall there was a kid during the first seasons, and he was deeply hated by everyone at the time. Several teen dramas also had actors in their late 20s and early 30s portraying sexualized teenagers.
There are adults having teen problems and adult problems at the same time, but I guess for younger audiences having adults being adults doesn´t sound that promising unless it is a reality show.
Hahaha, I get you a lot, especially because I tend to complain about the stuff my nephews watch; still, I prefer to watch Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol than some dumb influences on YouTube. Still, I try not to complain in front of them to avoid making them feel unvalidated.

Hahaha, there is an uncanny resemblance between Anne Hathaway's husband and Ryan Gosling indeed; I wonder how people don´t make that connection as well, maybe they are related in some way.
I am sorry to hear the movie wasn´t what you expected; it sucks when you watch a movie you think you are going to like just to end up disappointed. I still remember how disappointed I was after finishing Bakemono no Ko; since then I haven´t watched anime movies for quite some time.

He does look like Kaneki hahaha; and yeah, there was a character called Leo who looked like a literal kid and for whom Ragna, the MC who looks way older than her, is completely obsessed with. He was so annoying, to be honest, and I cannot remember the last time I hated an MC so much before; the story followed the usual trope of a character starting as useless, then suddenly getting overpowered, and all girls falling in love with him for some reason.
Crimson, the second main character, was the only reason I tolerated that anime; but after a while, I just didn´t want to force myself to keep watching it and dropped it.
Sometimes the unexpected happens, and maybe Blackguard will get an adaptation someday; I am still shocked that one of my favorite manga, A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School is receiving an anime adaptation this year and I am over the moon.
I remember you after seeing some scenes from the Percy Jackson show; I am a bit surprised you didn´t like it since I have seen several good comments and read positive reviews about it. What didn´t you like about it?

I am so sorry to hear about your relatives, and I completely understand what you are talking about; sometimes relatives that I didn´t know very well, or at all even, unexpectedly dies and I know it must hurt my parents and close relatives more than they really want to show.
In my case, I lost my cat; she was my beautiful baby girl, my chubby baby, 1/3 of my joy, who died at the beginning of March, and I just haven´t been that well. It hasn´t been a day that I don´t miss her and wish for her to be here.

Yeah, there are three physical volumes already released; I hope you can find them where you live.
I just finished reading A Second Goodbye to You, and I cannot stop thinking it was axed; the final two chapters were a bit too perfect for everything, and while I love a happy ending, it doesn´t feel rewarding.

Hahaha, don´t take this in a bad way, but that was hilarious; you were very invested in how that machine worked, that is how Newton discovered gravity. I remember trying to see how things worked when I was a kid; I lost a watch and the number 2 on my first cellphone.

Any attempt at inclusion from Disney just feels questionable and opportunistic, which I think goes well with their brand. I keep reading comments from different people around the world about how inaccurate the representation of their countries is. Like, when Hollywood movies use a red filter when a character travels to Mexico.
I think Disney bought Fox Channel some years ago, and that contributed to the acquisition of The Simpsons and other adult cartoon series. I think in some places Disney+ is divided with another streaming service called Star+, but in my region, the latter is not available, and I think you have to pay a bit more for a pack of the two.

Don´t worry about that, since I also end up apologizing; let´s agree to understand it from now on hahaha, especially since schedules tend to change in an instant. That sounds very hard, the body gets used to a timetable, especially if it is one that your employer gives you, and afterward, the body needs some time to go back to normal; like when on vacation after waking up early for school.
I hope you can get a good job, nice hours, and your mental health can improve; I understand that confusion a lot, especially when I wake up early thinking I need to hurry and there are still hours left to sleep or I am on the weekend.
Honestly, this has been a bit of a hectic year; aside from my cat dying, I sent my computer to get it fixed at the store where I bought it, and thanks to it I confirmed an extended guarantee is nothing but a scam.
It sucks to hear about that; it is amazing how common it is for employers to believe their workers work for free. Is the unpaid work days something that happened only to you or in general? You can all go to make a complaint about it.
The name Kaibutsu sounded familiar, and after checking it I confirmed it was the movie Monster; I read it was a mystery film acclaimed by the public and critics alike. Maybe I will give it a chance soon.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
