Sooo I beat DDS and started 2 tonight. I see what you mean about liking 2 better! I already knew I'd like it better as I was watching the intro, heh. The faster pace and battle music are a huge improvement. (Also, I have Skype or Tumblr/Twitter DM for more effective messaging, if you want?)

Yep, there's a ton of them, and they require a lot of higher level skills and grinding, sadly. I have all the recommended skills and I still got my ass kicked the last time I tried Beelzebub. Money is a bigger issue now since I'm in an area where I earn Atma points quickly but since I'm over leveled, they drop less money than their base amount now, so I can't actually buy the mantras I need :(

I got neutral kind of on accident, but it seems I always get neutral every time I play an SMT game the first time around, heh. Pokemon Sun/Moon is pretty addictive so you might want to keep it sealed until you're ready to dive in.

SMT IV is great! I only got the neutral and chaos routes, though. Didn't care enough for Jonathan or the idea of law in general to bother with that. SMT IV:A is pretty good but fair warning, it gets really tedious near the end (at least during the route I took).

And wow, a week? Granted, I only have about 30 hours into it with the grinding, meanwhile I got Pokemon Sun at launch and already poured 90 hours into it and completed the Alola Dex, so it's an issue on interest rather than lack of time. I don't want to start over since I'm near the end, though. Maybe I'll just skip the optional bosses and beat it? But the rewards for DDS 2 seem too nice to pass up...

And I get you on the backlogs. I've been grinding in Digital Devil Saga. Great game but that aspect gets tedious so I can think of is, "what do I want to buy next?" when I should be focusing on that to play DDS2, which I already bought. Otherwise I'm fine; just working and doing basically nothing when I come home XD

Haha, yeah, just haven't watched anime in ages, unless you count the Persona 3 movies. I might binge Yuri on Ice once the batch is out, though, since it's all over my Tumblr/Twitter anyway. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em I guess XD How've you been?

Yeah! Spring 2009! The new anime out this season will be lovely. I've jsut watched K-on, and well, I really love the music so far, I can't wait to see how it'll progress. I've also just finished Maria Holic, teh soundtrack is awesome. :3
