yes but Ao Ashi is waste of investing not similar to Blue Lock ( good concept to marketing ) while they already have another high profile projects. Ao Ashi didn't affect of them after all and fact it will be forgotten immediately
why suprise when blue lock is series big marketing in every country? Every publisher in every country buy license of Blue Lock. That why i always said 1 scene fail = rant for 8bit cuz they have budget to rent highprofile animators
yeah idk I didnt remember the first season being as bad as this, like creating a character that is like 8 years old being traumatized about not having children and then doing that wish thing is the weirdest thing ever, like wtf
yeah i tried to give it a second chance but once the backstories drop i just cant but feel that they were going to do some stupid bs to cater to people who care about any character that suffers. It is just like the fourth time in a row that the series do that, it makes no sense for me
10 is not a sacred score for me, Call of the Night just checks all the boxes of what I want in an anime. Creative visuals, purposeful storytelling, immersive experience, meaningful topics
uhh in that reply I was just making fun of the idiot that said that consistency doesn't matter in comedy just for the sake of defending their anime, I think that exaggeration and absurdity works when it is consistent on its own rules, or to say, when it doesn't make you feel cheated about the outcome. If the anime just hamfist the punchline by breaking the way the characters are normally reacting or are configured, then it is bound to break the immersion. My plothole opinion is about nitpicking, not about the general logic
In my opinion, absurdity can be inherently non consequential and illogical, that doesn't mean that it is not consistent, Aharen being able to freestyle in just one day and spinning a fidget spinner while goalkeeping is absurd, but it conveys a message that also surprises you, that can't be said about anything that SxF has done with its comedy. It doesn't help either that the punchlines of SxF are just the characters doing unwitty dialogues or bland predictable repetition of the same gags as an alternative, but maybe it is just that I can't connect to the humor of a community that laugh at trap jokes
