These are cultural differences, it has NOTHING to do with race. That said we could argue about the objectivity of average intelligence too, but that was not my intention. It was just an easy example of a parallel - culturally everyone is expected to be and act and live a certain way, and whenever there is a moment's break from it it can cause an explosion of contrary behaviour... Why do you think there's so much weird shit in japan, and so many random weird people and behaviours... just look at Harajuku, that is hugely counter-cultural.Won't argue you on the japanese being different part. Always thought the japanese were human like other westerners but according to you we are slow, stupid people unlike the japanese. To be honest that is racist for you to say westerners are slow and stupid compared to the japanese. Don't have to nerd out on me with Star Trek trivia to say it. amperevenon said: It was a bit lengthly, but that was the choice of the author for the personality of the character to have an internalized comedic semi-cringy overdone liberation. Man people are still going on about that? How narrow can you get? It was KAZUSA's derpy overly pure character, and Mari Okada's mind that made that. It's HER story, not YOURS. Kazusa was never obsessed with boobs, she was, in a very cingy way, accepting the fact that all sizes etc are fine, when it was super bothering her (as is EXTREMELY common fir girls to worry about breast size)...just said the boobs rant was weird and overdone. amperevenon said: The characters are telling you what THEY see and interpret, and how MARI OKADA feels about these subject. You are just the reader. You completely misidentify preachy narrative, because it exists, and this is absolutely NOT it.It is preachy, The characters are telling you exactly what to see and interpret, it has little subtlety and tonnes of exposition into how they feel rather than leaving the audience to arrive at their own conclusion. It is lazy, preachy writing. ps: i put some final edits on my prior message just before you wrote your reply sorry, there's a couple more things i meant to add Don't give me that bs. You could have stopped at "Japanese society has cultural differences" but you said dullard. You were being racist and xenophobic. Dullard means slow and stupid. What the hell does that have to do with the your argument of Japanese culture ? You just got oversensitive and showed your true colors. Or you didn't know what dullard meant. I am going with the first deduction. >Blah, blah, boob rant. Dude that is just how i feel. Didn't ask for your input. It is subjective. IT WAS WEIRD FOR ME. >Blah, blah, preachy. They were preachy. Their expositions were obvious moralization that tells the audience what to think and deduce. The definition: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/preachy Dullard means simpleton, uninteresting/unimaginative individual. It was my play on words referring to the apathy of westerners with a more spicy word. Sue me. There is no true colours, there is no xenophobia, i live in north america and have no asian blood. I'm not sensitive about anything, you are just making all kinds of blatantly ignorant statements without sufficient prerequisite knowledge. This anime is made for girls more than it is for guys, if it's weird for you that's your problem XD Lol, i can go break out my roommates legitimate copies of the official Oxford Dictionary if you wanna dive down the rabbit hole of logomachy. Where are these moralizations? I see all kinds of taboo experimentation and contextualization in many ways which are heavily unbiased and clear. If you are seeing moral bias, that's your interpretive error. Like i said, dullard means slow, stupid, simpleton means stupid. Unimaginative doesn't make sense because the west is a society of trend setters, free to express themselves, maybe not 100% but more so than anywhere else. North America has freedom of speech as a right. unlike most other countries. >There is no true colours, there is no xenophobia, i live in north america. I'm not sensitive about anything, you are just making all kinds of blatantly ignorant statements without sufficient prerequisite knowledge. I don't care if you are from the west. You were xenophobic in your statement. These days people are ashamed of being white, being American, being male. Your statement showed you to be one of those self hating bunch in my eyes. >This anime is made for girls more than it is for guys, if it's weird for you that's your problem XD Incorrect, the anime was made made for boys. Look at the detail page. It says shounen not shoujo. I don't know why it focuses on chicks but that how it is. Even if it was made for girls that gives it a slight pass for overemotional characters not "Daily life of autistic girls." Ah yes, Laughing emojis always win arguments. >Where are these moralizations? I see all kinds of taboo experimentation and contextualization in many ways which are heavily unbiased and clear. If you are seeing moral bias, that's your interpretive error. I am not gonna continue this anymore. What i have said is fact. you say i made interpretive error, well so be it. Have a nice night. > |

Fuck nina nd fuck that annoying guy who dared to touch momo. And fuck izumi for doubting. I'm so pissed Momo gay wasn't "predictable" like ... They gave us the facts since a long time ago. You just needed to do the math. The twist was the confesion. Ans I really don get why they find her annoying. She's precious. And i woumd snap to that boy too. He was so selfcentered did not notice that made momo unconfortable. |

about momoko.. so ehhh, she's gay ok... nice... get out of the way. Niina, this might at least just be from my perspective of view but I see the director more of an "narrator" towards Niina's character, more or less, his just there to spark a cause and effect kind of thing.. Now on Niina's top-tier NTR logic "bruh you were hard" I kek'd too hard. I want Sonezaki to be friends really to that gal-chan, even after the whole incident. Now on Izumi, oh boi you got hard there huh.... You could have choose the route of "it's my train fetish that triggered it not your ass" but bruh you didn't even say it. Ehh if his relationship with Kazusa will be even more solid after this, I don't even care; if not then I might look at it this way: The trio's friendship will end at that way; or in some way shape or form. To Hongou I don't even know where to start... I just want her to take pride in her writing... Also, her issue is quite.... bruh.... appearances literally is a sin and at the same time the saviour... so I dunno which one to pick. To console her or to mock her.... |

I like that momo confessed her feelings, I saw that building up for quite some time now but didn’t think it would lead to outright confession, well done! The scene with teacher and Hongo was the most amazing buildup but (as expected) ended tragically. Niina continues to oscillate between a total bitch and self pity fest, girl got issues. I couldn’t care less about Izumi and Kazusa, Kazusa specifically is the blandest character for me with token penis haircut. But I don’t dislike them or anything, just don’t care enough to be invested in their story. Looking forward to next episode. |

amperevenon said: Man, i hope momo dies from AIDS. I said it before she is a lesbian but is written as an asshole man-hater. Dude, what is wrong with you? 1. That's fucked up, and juvenile 2. There is absolutely no possible way you could read her actions as "man hating" Sugimoto sucks. He's unlikable, and he's a supposed to be unlikable. He's a prototypical "nice guy." He makes a big show out of talking about how to be a good guy, then does shit like threatening to ruin her reputation, and trying to guilt trip her. For a somewhat timid high school girl, she did a great job of telling him to fuck off, while still being polite enough. He had no right to grab her, and her reaction was completely warranted. Momo doesn't show dislike of any other guys in the show, and she certainly doesn't discourage any other relationships in the group, so your take reads like some incel, red pill garbage. |

At the end of every single episode, I always say the same thing, "shit's gonna go down in the next episode". it always does and then moire shit is introduced! It's a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point. All I'm super fired up about is that I want Hongo and the teacher to go their separate ways and be happy separate. Hongo deserves some love. Hopefully, that will be solved soon but it's getting harder and harder to tell if all the problems introduced in episode 9 and 10 are going to be solved by the end. |

Nextorl said: i really dislike Sugawara now. she's an amazing and complex character- but god dammit she's awful- i can't believe she really tries to make Izumi and Kazusa split up, she's the worst friend a person can ask for. also, FUCK that teacher at the end- who do you think you are to tell your students something personal about another student? what is wrong with you?! She is completely awful! I agree totally. She needs some much needed couch sessions with a good therapist. I don't think she even knows what a friend is. Always thinking everyone wants her, her self esteem took it's first big hit when Izumi rejected her. I know Japan has different laws than the USA, but how can divulging a students information be legal? I'd sue that school so hard it'd be named after me. Anyway, back to Izumi. I never thought he really liked Kazusa romantically. I think he was just kind of going with the flow. He said he never saw her as a girl. It almost seems like he's never seen any of the girls at school as girls cuz he's too messed up over the erection. It's like it was his first one outside of porn. It seems to me that by the time a guy is 16/17 he should have had erections over a school mate at least once. Right? Like after seeing girls in their gym clothes or swimsuits? Something. Maybe he only gets hard over trains. He ties with Momoka as the most immature of the bunch. Momo...man it's taken her far to long to realize she was a lesbian and confess. It would have been fine had she not turned into some crazed man hater. WTF was that I need to be cleansed bullshit? Take a shower. I've hated Hongo since the first episode. I haven't changed. I love everytime her face gets busted. Firstly, he told you he doesn't like school girls. You also know he likes a woman with curves. There's nothing teenaged Skeletor can do for him so why are you shocked? Shipping Sonezaki and (shit I forgot his name). I hope the pregnancy doesn't cause her to backslide. I heart Kazusa. I went through a similar crotchless panty realization at 16 except I was in an actual store. My friends had to tell me to close my mouth because it was just agape. I hope Izumi doesn't hurt her, but I think it's coming. I don't know how anything will be satsfactorily resolved in 2 episodes, but we'll see. |

The moment Niina talked about how everybody is just oozing over her because of her looks and nobody knows what she's actually like in an earlier ep, I could already smell slut all over her. It's always the ones that keep saying "what do you know about me?!" and stuff like that. I'd still argue the way it was done is just way too "anime" and unrealistic. Don't get me wrong, I personally know people who have an amazing talent to make detrimental life decisions, but that's because those people don't usually think at all, not because they think wrong or with the wrong bodypart. Why force Juujo being pregnant into this though? It's like the writer is on a crusade against extroverted girls who take of their looks. At least she's open about being kinda slutty. Even Sonezaki is presented as snob from time to time. On top of that, why the everloving fck would a TEACHER of all people leak this information?! Even for the purposes of educating the kids why teenage pregnancy is bad! Hell, considering her personality, why would she drop from school over this in the first place?! I know that in Japan excessively shunning people is REALLY trendy, but it's not like anyone expected anything else from her. Plus, being the kind of open person that she is, she could have totally pulled off a mother image who likes kids anyways. Otherwise she would've gotten an abortion in secret and none of this would be an issue in the first place. I can only imagine the teachers deciding to kick her out, but then why go out of their way to spread rumors?! This is retarded. I'm also hella surprised about Izumi losing his boner over having a grip. C'mon bruh, you're on high school, surely you've had a boner plenty of times by now to know it's nothing special. For god's sake, you were jacking off like there's no tomorrow a couple episodes ago. Whoever wrote this has absolutely no idea what goes through a man's head on a daily b--... *checks who writer is* ... lmao, ok I get it now, this is hilarious, hahahaaaa, oh wow. The part with Sugimoto and Momo is just wrong on so many different levels. I'd also expect more self-control from a man, but Sugimoto wasn't mad for no reason. Momo was being a really bad cunt early on. She could've just politely refused and explained and I'm pretty sure Sugimoto would've understood, unless the writer is legit mental. He just wanted to get to know her. You can't deny that at some points he wasn't noticeably considerate of her. Making her Yuri on top of that is just cheesy as hell. Watching this, it feels I'm Hongou's editor, who's laughing at her for having a childish understanding romance (replace Hongou with the writer of this shit). Speaking of Hongou, thanks for not smashing with Tomoaki (although you're still on a whole different level of crazy). None of what happened makes any sense. Nobody acts like this and nobody thinks like this, regardless of whether they think with their brains or their genitals. It's just plain dumb. |

HAHA Kazusa with the thought of even underwear to entice Izumi even further...looks like he's gonna be firm in the relationship with her. At this point, Sugawara is just pushing Izumi to his limits. Her POV being ripped off from the pedo reacher, and now riding this contemplating fact onto him. What a bitch trying to be leaps faster than Kazusa, but ended up being rejected because he knew... For Hongou, trying to seduce Milo-sensei is not gonna happen, not in a million years. But Milo-sensei is very contriving, playing and eating her heart out. TOTALLY DIDN'T EXPECT her to go in for the kill, but that just made her heart cries louder. Sonezaki is really the most innocent girl, but it's a good thing Akagi doesn't think of her that way. That's what makes her so loved. But, Akagi's innocence plays a big part on her path towards accepting love more and more. Momo...her lesbian behaviour is showing...a harsh reaction. Her response to Sugawara is one of admonishment, an attraction, NO, AN OBSESSION. HOLES. EVERYONE HAS THEM. BUT...the obsession and controversial nature of each of us is overwhelming. As all of them are treading a path of the unknown, the Literature Club is slowly folding itself up. HOLY SHITTING MOLY SMOKES THAT ENDING TWIST. That sucked me SOOOOOOO HARD AND GOOD. Praise you, Mari Okada for brilliant storytelling. |

This episode was really intense, and I loved every minute of it. Every character is being taken to the edge of the precipice and forced to look over it. None of them are the same or will ever be even close to the same as they were when the story started. That's really the way it should be. That's life. |

Not relaxing or fun to watch, more like some NTR Doujin which I'm not into. This episode was heated, oh my God how did it end up like this? It was also so atmospheric and matched the tone perfectly. I have already given up on Niina, damn I know she had some circumstances but she went ahead and messed with Izumi like that like he's some disposable toy. I appreciate Izumi's backing off, but him refusing to hold hands with Kasuza is worrying me. He goes that pregnancy case, Jujo's going to change the way the president sees relationships now, my poor Amagi going to probably get dumped. |

I'm currently having a really questionable love/hate relationship with this show and I'm not sure that's a good thing. Some things are so jump-out-the-window worthy I don't know if it's intentional or just ass-pull writing. I can see some acts being reasonable but others are just "in what universe or common mind do you consider that ok?". It's teen drama alright and I can't exactly relate (that one quiet kid that minds its own business) but many of the scenarios seem out of the blue just for drama convenience. Not fun or relaxing, just a whole lot of eye rolling. |

Nina is so whore right now, just want him so hard, that is prepared to split Izumi between her and kazusa, damn, what a slut! Izumi refusing helding hands, it was just an excuse! this episode reeks of relationship problems! LOLZ Kazusa is so inexperienced concerning undies with holes! haha oh god! i never expected that Sonezaki saw Hitoha! LOL at the pantsu grab! of course who wouldn't get hard toward Sugawara's ass especially if she's forcefully letting a doutei boy Izumi fondle it! oh god! Sugawara is really acting like a total seducing boyfriend stealer bitch! or just a practice sex buddy? LOLZ LOLZ i predicted that there's no red lights and Hitoha's plan was a total failure! and it was hilarious especially the cheap hotel part! hahaha! Amagi said treat her right! nice! that was swave! that is why Sonezaki & Amagi still best couple! LOLZ @ the "Amagi Magic" Things are not doing good for Momo! LOL at the lyrics of the karaoke! hits on spot! here we go YURI route for Momo & Nina! so many crying this episode! you know what!? after the ED finishes, the last part was a bit shocking and I also expected it! it would really affect her because they have really become close friends. the part where the letter of Jujo says byebye was covered by Sonezaki's right thumb that's why she was perplexed on why she didn't gave it to her personally. and damn! i can't stop being so absorbed in this show! 5/5! |

Izumi got a boner by touching sugawara ass, oh god the end of the world is coming cuz he thinks getting a boner is cheating...i honestly think he never loved Kazusa, he likes her more like a sister tho i can see him ending up with sugawara but i dont see that as love either, more like a sexual atraction or something like that, after the 4th episode i started to "hate" both Sugawara and Momo, i knew Momo was a lesbian cuz of that chat they had bout male & female bodies differences but why dafuk she needs to be such a drama queen and suddently has androphobia and yeh "DONT TOUCH ME" you filthy male species hahahaha, anyway the only good couple on this anime is Rika & Shu i hope that this Juuju pregnancy and the way that teacher told the class about it doesnt ruin that, i have a feeling that in the next 2 episodes kazusa gonna cry lots, drama incoming and i love it, i can already see heads flying. If Momo and Sugawara end up together it will be forced as fuck dont take me wrong i like yuri(a bit) but will still feel forced asf, i mean they both trash so... |

Starting to get a little nervous that this show might not stick the landing. Ever since the end of the cultural festival, I feel as though this has been going downhill. Kazusa remains innocent and incredibly cute. But Niina is really pissing me off with her cryptic melodrama crap. Characters who are seen as beautiful are always like this. Everyone around them loves them, but they themselves cannot find love. Hence why Niina has this desperate, almost distorted view of love, and she's willing to ruin what Kazusa and Izumi have just to finally acquire love herself. Izumi is pissing me off too with his indecisiveness. It's been established that Niina is objectively beautiful, so I understand why he's attracted to her. But that phone call he had with Kazusa seemed as if he wanted to see what his own reaction would be if he told the girl he supposedly loved, "I love you", as well as her own I love you back. It seemed as though he wasn't moved by it as he thought he would be. It makes me real nervous to where this might be leading. But ultimately, he was put in an unfair situation by Niina, so I feel for the guy. It looks as though Hongou is finally making some headway for her development. I've felt as though she's stalled the past few episodes. Doing the same hijinks over and over again with no success. I'm just glad the teacher was classy enough to embrace her and not take advantage of her weakness. Where do I even start with Momoko? I just had a feeling she would end up like this. She was constantly in the background as her friends got into relationships, while she was struggling with a jerk. The jerk took it too far and now because she had one bad go with a guy, she all of a sudden is no longer attracted to them. I genuinely despise this kind of writing, it's about as deep as a puddle. It makes for unrealistic characters that do nothing but cheapen the story. Momoko is far and away the worst written character, as this feels shoehorned in because she was more or less forgotten. Sonezaki's wholesome relationship continues to be the beacon of light in the darkness. I really hope this is able to resolve these issues before the season is over. |

I don't want is worst a minor trying to seduce an adult or Niina trying to throw herself onto Izumi. Liek I get it this show wants to cover sex and how kids mind think but I think they are pushing it with episode 9 and 10. I don't want to sound like an sjw but this show is getting uncomfortable to watch at times. |
I haven't updated in years but now I have changed that. I'll be free soon. |

Yeah, fuck Juujo's privacy! Let's make her pregnancy public to all the class (and most likely, to all the school) so that, she will actually have a good damn reason to not come back anymore due to the awful rumors that now will start spreading. Is that teacher retarded or what the hell? Now, that said, her being pregnant is obviously going to be used as an excuse to establish some drama or at least, some doubts for Sonezaki and the way she sees Amagi and I'm not really against the idea but it could have been handled way better rather than having a random teacher revealing such private matter under such lame reason as to "prevent the students from ruining their lives". Now, about the rest: Izumi saying "no" to temptation deserves some respect but he still had to screw things up again at the end, didn't he? Honestly, I can understand if he's sexually interested in Niina but if he ends up doing a fuss over a simple boner, I would be really disappointed (again) with this series' writing. Momoko's development (or lack of it?) throughout the series was horribly handled and the decision of turning Tsugimoto into a douche out of nowhere just to give said development a "starting kick" was another really lazy writing decision. Regarding Hongou, I don't really have much to say. Her story with Milo was laughable from the start due to how absurd it was but I have to admit it was somewhat interesting at least. But since she fell in love with him, their "development" has become truly painful to watch and rather pathetic for moments. That all said, it was another terrible episode filled with melodrama to no end but fortunately, there are just two more episodes to finally conclude this mess. |

At this pace there's no way they can adapt the whole manga without cutting a lot. If it was 13 eps it would work out :( |

Finally caught up. Their teacher did Jujo dirty. He slut shamed her on front of the whole class. Her dropping out of school for such personal reasons should have remained private for her and her family only. Fuck that guy that called Momo crazy. Typical creep response for getting rejected. Nina gave me School Days vibes. LOL MaahHeim said: OH YES!Oh my GOD Sugawara is turning into Sekai from School Days. I'M HAVING WILD FLASHBACKS AND I'M CRACKING UP BECAUSE I JUST CTRL+F AND EVERYONE IS THINKING THE SAME THING. Holy shit-- how low did we get... she's a psychopath... no wonder she didn't have any friends before lmao |

If you're reading this and you're on the fence after this episode, abandon ship now, it doesn't get any better from here. |

Ahhh, problems, dilemmas and scissors were armed. My worst fear came true. Momo's inclinations were already noticeable. Sugawara, became detestable. Houngou attacked Yamashigi with everything. Sonezaki's friend gave us a big surprise. And, apparently, Izumi begins to doubt his feelings towards Kazusa. Hell, and this is just the beginning, the existential faults and crises are approaching. And of course, there are also love triangles. This will bring back memories of "Darling in the Franxx", hahaha |

Tokonutsu said: Since when did people get so soft? I understand certain aspects of this episode were a bit face slap worthy, but its been a fat while since I've had the pleasure to witness such realistic characters. People may pose the opinion that they watch anime in order to escape reality, but this show is honestly a breathe of fresh air for the medium. Yes, Sugawara has feelings and does her not wanting to abandon them make her a monster? Of course not, and the same goes for Momo also. Maybe I am overreacting a bit, but I guess I do appreciate more complex characters rather than shallow robots. I agree with you 100%, people judge shows and characters sometimes because they don't do what they want, like it is an obligation to please them and make their ships happen instead of telling the story the author wanted to write, hating a character is not bad (if you hate him/her because of his development, and not because of bad development; example: Joffrey from GoT is very well developed and very hated. example2: all characters of Eromanga-sensei are bad developed, you like them or not) the things happening here are not that farfetched. THEY ARE TEENAGERS, people here saying things about how the characters should behave when they probably didn't behave like that at all when they were that age, in normal life it is not strange at all friendships breaking because of a crush, getting knocked up, being a bitch to your friends because of a crush, mixing lust with love (mostly if you are a virgin), confessing to your crush in a moment of distress and fucking up everything... All those are almost the definition of Teenage years. The only unlikely thing is that all those things usually do not happen at the same time (at least most of the time), but this is a show with just 12 episodes to touch these subjects. |
