| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah, Kanata and Haruka are going up against the two girls (Ai and Mai) they previously met at that store. Interesting. I thought the episode was thrilling as we see even a bit of their past. The emotions also felt very real and relatable for these girls. Kanata and Haruka also has a close chemistry where they really trust each other. Haruka is also improving every time. |

| My only issue with the episode is that Mai's dramatic flashback went all too sudden. The episode otherwise is a sample of everything this shows does right regarding its depiction of the sport. It really makes a difference between the pro players and the amateurish or not completely well-established ones and that's perfectly fine. Haruka is a natural talent and Kanata an advanced and experienced player but even then their combination doesn't run smoothly against Mai and Ai, who are clearly not as talented as Haruka or as experienced as Kanata. Haruka having zero experience and Kanata being out of shape for so long do have an effect in their game. I like how for both couples it's a constant stream of short-lived strategies, errors and a back-and-forth that is reflected in the scoreboard. It is realistic, even if less spectacular. This match feels refreshingly amateurish and full of alternatives instead of being a mere exhibition of one side while the other struggles to catch up. |

| Man looks like Kanata had underestimated those floral printed bikini girls skill, Ai and Mai when it come to playing beach volleyball, thinking that they only play indoor volleyball. It almost looks like that Ai and Mai wore this kind of Bikini: |
| Haha wow. The four hit was a surprise, and it was good on how they showed it. They still haven't showed us what the hand symbols behind the back mean... Conditioning...My guess is that Kanata is going to keep poking...and then she's going to switch to spiking which will force Ai and Mai to adapt...Well we'll see what will happen... |

| AAHHHHHHH THAT WAS GOOD. That was a very intense game of volley ball right there and quite a damn well animated one too. Now to figure out those hand symbols. |

| I liked the episode, lots of action. I’m surprised Kanata hasn’t realized her pockeys are in the air too long. Idk why not make good use of Haruka’s size and have her go on the offense. Ai and Mai know Kanata’s game plan too well know since all Kanata is doing is pockeys. Claire and Emily are gonna be tough to beat. I wonder if we’ll see Narumi play as well soon.~ |

| That match was really weird to watch. I mean if you use a pokey every single time, it's not a feint anymore. She should strike when they don't go for a block and else use that pokey. I hope her strategy will be to alternate between attack and feint next episode, because it's so damn obvious. |
