| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Uh oh, it looks like we got some family issue in this episode with youkai involved. Pretty dark stuff once the brother got involved... The episode had emotions and action as Ushio and Tora got involved obviously. And anyways, I think I got used to the OST of the show by this point. I'm really starting to like that guy on the bike tbh. Ushio and Tora's teamwork is also getting better imo. Nice episode overall. |

| Holy crap. I'm used to the nice work MAPPA puts into it by now, but this surpassed my expectations by far. Of course there's still Nagare being awesome which is always a plus, but those parts centered around Satoru... damn. Also a quick note for the anime-only viewers - yet again, a few chapters were skipped. Chapter 82~84, which happen just before the gang meets Jun - if you want more of Asako and Mayuko, read those chapters. |

| I don't know. I felt the pacing this ep was really weird. I haven't read the manga but I felt that too much stuff happened without buildup. Esp the Satoru stuff. Would've preferred if this was divided to 2 eps. Having him escape then appear again and get over the problem then jump to "kill himself" all in the span of the second half of the ep felt pretty rushed. Still fun ep I guess. Ushio finally learned the F***N lesson of not using public transport at least. ABOUT TIME XD And the hiyou coming out of Satoru looked friggin creepy |

I find the possibility of Ushio becoming a true monster if he uses the spear's tremendous power interesting. I would like to see the story go in that direction.  My trypophobia sense is tingling.  |

| You would think by now that ushio would realize he should stop using public transportation lol. I agree with Barion Zara about how some of these things seem to be happening with little to no buildup which makes some events seem rushed. But still an enjoyable episode, and the animation looked really good during some parts. MAPPA brought their A game this episode. The idea of ushio becoming a monster also seems interesting, I wonder if that will actually happen. |

| Whoa, I see 2nd season on MAL for April 2016; when did they announce that? We're only just a little over halfway into the season too--this is awesome. Kinda sucks that it'll likely end on a cliffhanger until next year though. As for this episode itself...didn't expect to see the guy off himself. Was hoping to see Ushio go full-beast. |

| The pacing in this episode was way too fast I loved the characterization and action scenes plus the animation and all but the way the plot was handled lacked as much of an impact as the previous episodes did imo It was a good episode but I feel like it would have been better if they fleshed things out a bit more |

| Even for me that I have not read the manga, the narrative rhythm is too fast. Slow down and explain the situation, it would have been better. The brother of Jun, I thought he was tough, but he had a part a little dull in this episode. I hope that this speed in the events, at least one hidden reason. Also known a small decline in the quality fielded the study Mappa. |

| You'd think he would have learnt not to use public transport after the whole plane incident or the 1st bus incident but nope now he learns apparently. Also wtf was the point of the whole discussion with that guy in the mirror? He explains how to get rid of them but when they fight the guy he throws his spear knocks the knife from his hand and suddenly he is back to normal then falls off a cliff the end? I assume he will show up again to make that information a little useful but it felt really pointless. |

Well they do not have the episodes to adapt the whole thing slowly so they probably used fast pace but i disagree with you. I think they really did a good job with it. They crammed lots of events there and they somehow managed to not make it feel like it was too rushed with things losing meaning etc. I really have to give the congratulations for managing that. |

What bothered me most was... apparently Jun has kept in regular contact with her brother before he changed, and it's obviously been years and years since the whole child incident that she wants to thank him for... So why didn't she tell him that long before now? Am I missing something? |
