I do not accept random friend requests. Since people can't read I've turned it off.
What goes here & what doesn't go here: Basically, this account is only for TV series that are 10+ episodes* and 20+ minutes in length, plus any OVAs/specials that are roughly the same duration, as well as movies.
*Unless it's a sequel that has fewer episodes. Usually.
For short side-episodes, recaps, remakes (usually), retellings and alternative versions/settings, please see my side account. I've watched a lot more than what I have on this account, I swear.

Been watching anime since late 2004/early 2005. I have a lot of unfinished series because I started them when I was 10 and had no idea what the fuck I was getting into. I'll get around to them eventually. Except some of the longer ones, maybe. We'll see. 1-cour series on my on-hold list will definitely get watched at some point.
If an entry has no start/end date that means I watched it before I joined MAL; most likely in 05/06.
Not that anyone probably cares, but my first anime was Love Hina and my first manga was Azumanga Daiou. I may or may not have started the Azumanga anime before Love Hina, but since it was forever ago I can't remember. Before I knew what anime was, I watched Pokemon and Hamtaro as a kid.
"Downloaded" is purely an organisational tag so I know what I have on my harddrive. No, I won't upload things. They're all easily found, especially if I can find them. Torrents are your friend.

How I rate things, because apparently people rate things differently. I rate things based on enjoyment. Did I like it? If so, it gets a higher rating. If not, it gets a lower rating.
10 = My favourites.
9 = Really liked, just not enough to be a favourite. I don't like the number 9 so I don't use it as a rating much.
8 = Not on favourites level but still entertaining, this usually is dependent on how much I like the characters.
7 = Pretty good. A 7 isn't a bad rating to me, I still like things I rate a 7.
6 = Not too bad. Again, I still like things I give a 6, but not heaps.
5 = Neutral. Things I watched ages ago but don't remember get this rating. I figure if I don't remember them well I didn't like them.
4 = Not horrible, but nothing good. Things rated 4 or below are chores to watch.
3 = Oh god, really?
2 = Things that aren't awful but ones that I had a hard time watching none the less. Boring things go here too.
1 = No redeeming qualities. Anything I drop (which I rarely do) gets a 1, no questions asked. Things that make me uncomfortable/slightly offended (mostly sexual harassment jokes but also other things) also go here.
Also, Takagaki Ayahi is the best seiyuu, along with Kobayashi Yuu.
But we all know deep down that the actual best seiyuu is Wakamoto motherfucking Norio.

Number of "full length" TV series I've seen*: 192
*10 or more episodes that are 20 or more minutes in length.

Dubs suck, watch subs instead to get the full, intended experience of an anime.
I have two other accounts in order to make things less cluttered. They need updating, oops.
Movies, shorts not related to anything, OVAs less than 5 episodes (unless connected to a franchise), music videos, trailers/pilots to things unrelated to what I've watched, CMs/PVs, Flash animation, chibi specials → Tokiwokoe
Hentai → Hotaru_M
So, stumbled on your profile and my curiosity is getting the better of me. (Though I should say "Hello" first XD haha... Yahello~)
I've seen a couple different people do/mention this, so I was wondering if you might enlighten me to why (in ya opinion).
Why have separate accounts for different "types" or set "rules" for anime you've watched? I personally would find it hard (possibly annoying) to try to keep things separated especially for series that fall "on/around the line" you've drawn between accounts, but I'm really curious what motivations/benefits others have or see in it.
