More specifically this tag weight part, if you just sorted by rating it leads to shows where the tag is not important, but if you sort by tag weight you get shows where the tag is the main theme

So they said my ban was accidental because I said a common spam bot word.
Didn't even apologize to me, the entire email made it look like it was my fault for saying a word I don't know.

Now I'm wondering if I should stay here or just go back to anidb, I already went through the trouble of setting it up + it has more options

Sent this from Tor Browser in case you're wondering, the ban was several days ago, I was 100% positive they'd answer to the ban appeal and reduce it to like a week or two, it's ridiculous the treatment I got, without any warning, my account is literally 13 years old, we've fapped to things younger than that.

That thread, I got banned over it. IP banned no less, my thread was exactly the same thing I sent you. They don't even respond to the ban appeal.

But it's not like I want you to follow me for the 3rd time or anything like that, b-baka. Probably shouldn't anyway, I see no reason to maintain 3 different accounts in different trackers, also anidb is kinda weird with this clunky UI, it's growing on me though.

I wonder what weird math MAL uses to calculate the scores, I calculated Oshi no Ko's average and the result was "9.2381" but the current value is "9.26".

I wanted to check whether or not it's true that 1s are not counted fully, but that's clearly not the case, I recalculated using "150" for the number of 1s, arbitrarily chosen based on the number of 2s and 3s, the result was 9.48.

Then I made the math for FMAB and the result was "8.9614". Equaling 1s to 2200 occurrences gives an average of "9.1307" which is fairly close to its current score of "9.11" though.

For reference this is the code I used in GNU Octave

EDIT: To make it more complete I calculate Bleach's Thousand Year Blood War, the result was "8.9541", counting all 1s, insignificantly less than FMAB.

The I equaled the number of 1s to 500, the end result was "9.1495", even at 900 1s, Bleach TYBW still tops FMAB

Finally watched Kimi no Na Wa, I have a natural aversion to drama.

Meh, 8/10. Plot was a mess, not all that masterpiece people make it sound like.

I understand now, Makoto Shinkai is all about skillful execution, he's a tactician, not a strategist. If anyone else had directeed this movie, I would have dropped it halfway through.
