| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh my goodness....those lewd allusions in the baths...wasn't expecting the episode to begin like this. This episode had a lot more bath scenes than I had expected. Wait for BDs if you want more fan service. No but seriously, the yuri vibes. Cute episode although the food wasn't as delicious as I had hoped for. This episode felt more like building on interpersonal relationships. |

| Welp it has Yuri and bathing scenes and abandons all remaining pretense so this is where the SHAFT fans should start band wagoning back on, getting all excited and praising the directorial effort of it all as nothing less than flawless and riveting. After all this not the kind of television that makes one think 100% pure quality entertainment and interesting material about cooking and the culinary world? Is this not such an original focus and basis for an episode of TV anime that just pushes the limits of the medium in unexpected ways we've never seen from anime and especially SHAFT before? In all seriousness though episodes of TV Anime like these are why I have so little respect for SHAFT as a producer and am rapidly losing any lingering respect I have for late night TV anime period, bolstered only by the fact that it's a Winter season and hope that the best is yet to come for 2015. It's all just kind of starting to blur into a ball of boring low budget yuri hijinks, fanservice and otaku wank nonsense this season, which isn't exactly unusual for a Winter season but still bears mentioning I think if for no other reason than nobody else is going to comment on it and probably try to spin it as a universal objective positive since this is what's all the rage these days and considered top tier late night TV animation for "mature adults". Sigh..... |

| Look at that key animator army! Even with that many people the animation is still lacking and choppy, kind of unexpected since it's just a low budget SoL and probably used for training rookies or out-sourcing or whatever, maybe there's some production problem. There is only one theme: the feeling of satisfaction and happiness by consuming delicious food with someone you know and care, the lewdness is optional and should not get in the way. This is just what I fear from the start when it was announced that SHAFT would take the case: Too much fanservice and yuri, making the supposedly serious scene loses all its weight. The end scene which Ryou dreaming about her grandma just feel tack on with no buildup and not to mention, it came after 10 minutes of fanserive and I don't think she can sleep that well with that spoiled stomach of her. |

| Watching this after dinner doesn't really help, all those scenes, the food looks great though. Wish I could sleep that well with a stomachache, it just doesn't stop until it wants to stop. The fridge looks kind of cool for some reason. |

I wonder if they'll ever finally meet the woman living downstairs. Regardless, another great episode. Oh, and loved Chibi Kirin baiting out Chibi Ryou with a popsicle during the preview and then dive-bombing to save her.:D |
Of course, there'll never be a day when Kirin doesn't have an appetite. The memento shot was cute though. :3 That boiled eel rice looked so delicious! Even if you have just ate your fill, after seeing them eating with such pleasure will surely make you hungry. We also got some nice bath fanservice along with vanilla (ice cream) appreciation. That was quite lewd, but pleasant as well. :9 Kirin's Ichigo Daifuku sexual harassment was pretty funny though. That rape face. XD  I don't blame her. Dem Oppai had fair complexion and were flexible as well. :9 That Shiina glare though! Enough to make a couple fear and stop talking about spicy food. XD  Still the best girl though. (^^) Good episode. Obligatory, the PV was too friggin' Kawaii! This time, Kirin luring Ryou in the screen with an ice cream bait. :3 |

| I can't understand that all hates for Shaft in almost every episode threads. If you don't like SOL, why you still watchin this series? You should drop it after 2nd episode. I love fanservice served by Shaft. They can do it in more mature and erotic way than other studios (random pantsu shots, oppai touching, etc). I can tell that this is one of the best shows which started in this season. I will watch every show produced by Shaft, because they are doing wonderful work. Animation in this episode was great (excpect few ugly 3d objects like rice machine). Face expressions was even more good, Kirin is so kawaii <3 5/5 of course. Wow, I don't remember when I last time wrote that much about single episode. |

| I'm not familiar with shaft but the fanservice seems very excessive this episode. Being asexual myself I usually don't care but it can get irritating and I ended up skipping the ero-chomping bits. The freezer scene was adorable though, and any part with Grandma just warms my heart :D |

| Another relaxing episode. Plenty of yuri vibes between Ryou and Kirin that felt awkward, yet funny at the same time. ^^ Kirin's ice cream bait in the PV was hilarious and super cute too! =3 The art and animation remains on a good level so far, although certain parts on the episode where movements became a bit choppy. The 3D rice cooker was done good as well (unlike Saekano's 3D hands typing scene in episode 5 >_<). |

| Not as good as other past episodes, but still enjoyable an episode. All three ate the mochi soup but only Kirin didn't get a stomachache lol. Shiina's cold stare at the couple was hilarious. She literally didn't want to hear anything related to food. Just an FYI, it's bad to open the freezer after showering. I did it once and boy was my back hurting a while later. |

| This was criminal. SHAFT is not holding back in this one. There was a stark abundance of lines and shots here that had double, or just plain lewd, connotations to go with it. Aren't these girls in middle school or some shit? With such directing it really is clear on why SHAFT has become quite a recognized studio nowadays. |
