Yeah, and I've completely filled a 4TB drive with anime, hentai, manga, and doujins. Ofc, up until recently, they haven't really cared about that. Most agencies (and I've worked at several and been an agent myself once) care more about stopping kiddie porn than worrying about copyright infringement. Now, with agents going more cyber, they've started looking more and more into infringement issues, mainly because many of the big entertainment firms subsidize the agencies to do so.
Seeing that I started watching anime on copied VHS tapes and poor quality TV back in the 80's, I have no issues with the quality of the videos. Quality of the animation is another thing. Couldn't watch Ping-Pong or Little Witch Academia because the animation was just so bad.
The storyline isn't too uncommon for a Chinese show - their screenwriters are, for the most part, amateurish, and they have a tendency to attempt to force drama into their shows rather than to let it build up. So in that sense, Quan Zhi Gao Shou is actually a bit superior than your average Chinese show. believe me, I know - Chinese sit-coms and dramas are about all my wife watches.
I'll be honest, I'm watching so much primarily due to a competition in one of the clubs I'm an admin in - where you can rate the best shows every 3 weeks. I've been doing the 5/season for a while, but switched to the larger 10 per season this time since there were a bunch of shows that interested me.
That being said, many of the shows really have slid one way or another for me. I agree that Shingeki had a great start, and it was my top of the season at first, even with knowing the story. But like you said, it has really faded and it's a struggle to watch. I really liked Clockwork after the 1st episode - I though the MC had a good chance to become an OP character and the main girl (RyuZU) was pretty cute. Definitely been a comedown lately, as the show is getting more ridiculous every week, and the MC has become just so annoying. Alice was another one that started off really well and has kind of turned sour on me. I'm finding it almost tedious to watch. I pretty much only watch Zero for... Zero - LOL. Sin and Granblue I really only watch for the eye candy, and I'm watching Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Na since I watch one short every season.
That leaves Rokudenashi. I'll be honest, I literally almost dropped it after that first episode. I hate weak, stupid MCs (I've dropped 4 shows because of characters like that: Infinite Stratos, Hundred, Owari no Seraph, and Hestia). However, I'm glad I didn't drop it. The MC, Glenn, has turned out to be one of the best characters of the season, and this is the one show besides Quan Zhi Gao Shou that, IMO, just gets better and better every week.
6th episode is available subbed on kissanime and YouTube. I'm finding it pretty damn cool, even if they have too many repeated scenes. As for his weapon, what I found out from someone who read the LN is that he built that early on in his early career and then hid it away later where only he could find it. And I'm finding his girlfriend(?) Mucheng Su to be super cute, and the other girls (the boss's sister) to be pretty decent, herself. Episode 7 looks really good, as there is a lot of PvP battles with his new team.
Never got into torrents - worked for too many law enforcement agencies, and they have a tendency to track torrent sites. I generally don't care about super quality, so I use a Firefox add-on to rip streams. If I really like the anime, and want better quality, then I'll buy the BD.
Oh, and the fansubs for Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202 have finally come out
I'm actually watching more airing anime this season than ever before. I thought this season would be a bit of a comedown after YS last season, but not the case - this is what I'm watching so far (in order of preference):
Quan Zhi Gao Shou
Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2
Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records
Clockwork Planet
Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai
Glanblue Fantasy
Alice to Zouroku
Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho
Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai!
Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka?
It would be 11, but they haven't subbed Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202 yet, dammit. Haven't tried Re:Creator or Uchouten
As for the Mandarin subs, that's actually preferable here - my wife, who normally doesn't like to watch anime, is completely into the series since she doesn't need the subs, and all the kids like it as well.

Have you seen the last episode of LWA?
Have you seen the spider girl short, Wasurenagumo?
