If you have not seen the show, then I recommend you to watch it! The first episode out is sweet and heartwarming.

I don't see why my review had bothered you, but I still think the show is a 10/10.
I really liked the original manga version of the story, and it was near verbatim to it, and the changes made were only improvements.
I am not really a harsh critic of shows. If the episode wasn't my cup of tea and I don't like it, I would not review it. I don't like leaving negative comments because, I am certain that that type of show is for someone else's preference. And to do so would affect the creators of the show, they take time and effort into making everything, and to belittle their effort by harsh words seems inconsiderate.
Moving on and just sticking with the shows that bring a smile or a sense of awe is what that I prefer. And the episode had me smiling from beginning to end and left me anticipating for the next chapter, which is just as adorable.
What about the episode made you think that it wasn't that good?

Step one- I watched the episode.
Step two - I realized that I really enjoyed watching the show.
Step three- I saw that I could rate the show.
Step four- Rated the show according to my personal enjoyment of the episode.

1st movie 1st half is just a recap so you can skip, and the 2nd half is all set up for the 2nd movie.
2nd movie basically wraps up iona's storyline so yeah you really should.
