I hope that, someday, she actually realizes that Godai really does love her. |

Great ep, just wish it didn't end on a slap...poor Godai, it seems like they're making progress though. He's confessed his love, he's finally making some moves, and obviously she feels something for him if she's getting so jealous over other women. The last ep was funny too, "Unless you have more calls, would you please leave?" She said it so cheerfully! XD |

| Wow, that was pretty painful to watch. I always end up feeling mostly bad for Godai - I mean, some of his behavior is facepalm worthy but a lot of the time he just can't catch a break. |

Most men would never give a girl like that a second chance. Kyoko is a horrible woman, and she isn't very attractive either. So once again, I'm dropping this fucking horrible Anime. I tried my best to give it a chance, because all my friends seem to love it, but I hate everything about it. This has to be one of, if not the worst Anime series I've ever seen, and I will never attempt to watch this piece of filth again. April 29th edit: I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm going to give this a third try. I just feel as if I have to force myself to get through this. |

Getting into contact with someone sure was rough back then lol and Godai needs to stop rushing, Kyoko's not going anywhere...or will she? It's still the beginning of the series to know for sure yet :P |

| Oh poor Godai, he was too hasty, tho. Still a very nice episode, with some grear moments. But seriously, having mobile phones is one of the best things in our time, most of the time.. |

| I'm watching Maison Ikkoku for the second time and this is one of my favorite episodes, like many have said, Kyoko san running in the rain looks so good. Kyoko san is clearly falling for Godai san, but she is a tough one to break. Also first real tears thus far ;-; |

| Now this right here is without a doubt one of the best episodes of the series, I’m a first time watcher and even I can tell, it was just that good, it really reminded me of some of the best Urusei Yatsura episodes, and someone mentioned the specific one I was thinking of already too. Yes it was absolutely frustrating that Kyoko missed Yuusaku, and she nearly did it again near the end lol, also those goober tenants ruined Yuusaku’s moment with Kyoko under the umbrella, and to top it all off Yuusaku was met with a slap to the face after waiting on Kyoko for three hours, you can’t help but feel bad for this man. But with that being said, he did deserve that slap for going for a kiss lol, no matter how in the wrong Kyoko was she did not owe him a kiss, yes maybe he didn’t deserve to be slapped but it was absolutely a dumb move by him so you can’t feel bad for him in this regard, brother overstepped big time lol, yeah they’ve apparently known each other for a year at this point but we’ve probably seen all the romantic development between them in that year, they’re definitely not at the kissing stage yet. But man even with Yuusaku’s foolishness near the end, it was still such a powerful episode, I especially loved that scene of Kyoko running in the rain to that instrumental version of the ED, that’s one of those scenes you’ll never forget, I hate to throw shade at Ranma 1/2 but it wishes it could have a scene of this caliber lol. |
| ahhh.. the silly misunderstandings :p ..what an era it was though, with no cellphones, life was pretty hard and more interesting in pre-cellphone era. I couldn't understand one thing though.. they all live in the same mansion, especially Godai and Kyoko could've stepped out together... but then we wouldn't have an episode haha :p but still, nicely done... I am still not over my surprise of how Kyoko is interested in Godai.. The parts with Kyoko running for Godai were so aesthetic and dramatic, loved it. |
