THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------

Good OP song tbh, nothing too special on the surface but gets to the point.

So the dilemma is known now regarding the body switch issues. Also lol'd @ Inaba's lying and brutal honesty skills. What a pro.

The episode starts out funny but later turns mysterious as "Mr. Goto" knows a lot more than he's letting on. Well, it seems that this series has quite the drama and is starting to turn a bit serious than some people may have originally thought.

Anyways, great episode and what a priceless ending :P

So some entity called Heartseed is causing all of the swapping, and this entity uses Goto, the lazy teacher to communicate with the five individuals. I believe the purpose of all this swapping is for the members to get to know each other better. Similar to how everyone just now learned that Nagase lives with her mom and usually sleeps alone at night.

I'm guessing that Yui once got assaulted by some guy, which is why she responded the way she did when Iori brushed an incident like that off. This anime is a lot more serious than it looks and I'm loving it so far.

There where some small differences but besides that the story is pretty much the same as the manga.
During the end what made Inaba and Taichi stand out most when they where asked to volunteer was that Taichi mentioned Ore in Inaba's body and Inaba mentioned atashi in Taichi's body since there class president looked suspiciously at them.
And it appears the class president was also jealous at Taichi since she has feelings for Taichi which became very clear at the end.
Inaba saying Ioro is my woman against the class president suggests she was aware of this, and she did it in Taichi's body which makes it look like a declaration of war between the two.

Seeing Iori's reaction when she found out about Taichi's way of confirming he was in Iori's body and that the class president was watching also seems to suggest she was aware of the class presidents feelings for her.
When Inaba asked about the toilet part was pretty funny seems they all need to get used to the fact of changing body's.
Taichi is more trusted than Aoki by the girls which also became very clear during that conversation.

What i like most about this body changing story compared to other body changing story's is the fact that it happens to a group not just to people.
It's different from the standard echo gender bender since it happens both between the same gender and the other gender.
It's also not echo focussed like most body swap story's which is very refreshing.

Getting more serious. Good.
While they are at it, there's still laughter packed.

I didn't expect some outrageous being to suddenly pop up.

Iori seems to be haunted by the Yuri class rep. I have a feeling that she likes Taichi though.

And don't mess with Inaban.

It's getting interesting... fun mixed with serious stuff mixed with deus ex machina explanations (or could it be an "alien ex machina")

Some obvious drama in Yui's past... that sort of stuff is very sensitive, I hope they develop it accordingly, even if it turn out to be cliche.

Taichi raising his hand right on switch was great XD

I'm still getting confused as to who's who when they switch. I still don't remember their names. But that part with the soul, body and personality part is interesting.
This is some good stuff here and totally different from how Silver Link works.

I enjoyed this episode much more than the first one. The dialogue still felt a bit disjointed and the time skips with the characters explaining what happened in this time interval weren't integrated too well but the actual content did intrigue me a bit.

It's likely that Iori hides a rather unstable or at least gloomy side of her personality behind the cheerful and outgoing surface judging from her talk with Taichi at the subway station. I doubt it's a coincidence that she takes on such a prominent role in the ED.

This show doesn't have many outstanding qualities, like music, or animation - but for some reason, it stands out because of the writing and jokes.

It's funny, but it doesn't seem to be trying overly hard to be funny. The situations are fresh and hilarious - especially now with Nagase being fought over behind her back - between a liar and a lesbian no less. Hahaha.

I love where this is going.

Awesome episode. Great mix of decent humor, drama and foreshadowing. This is obviously not going to be a simple gag fest centered around body swapping.

However, the writers will REALLY need to explain Yui. (Since I've not read, nor do I currently intend to read, the manga this is based on, I know nothing about the backstories.) If she's got some trauma regarding men from her past she's hiding, then how is it she hangs out in a group that includes Taichi and, in particular, Yoshifumi?

Fast thinking on Inaba's part as a way to help out her friend Iori. Taichi will just have to man up and deal with the ramifications (silly grin).

This was a really good episode! The ending was hilarious.

I love that the show isn't shying away from dealing with the somewhat serious elements of their current situation, rather than it being used constantly for comedic effect. The characters are all rather interesting so far, and I quite liked the glimpse into the more somber side of Nagase.

This show is increasingly becoming more intriguing. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here, particularly what each of the characters may learn about one another. Definitely one of the biggest surprises of the season.

While I wouldn't have minded a continuous comedy fest of body switching, this supernatural presence who uses "Mr. Goto" as the spokeperson adds that level of seriousness. Will be interesting the direction this anime takes.

That preview. Omg.

I thought this is just a simple club comedy Anime but It seems Im very wrong. Damn it, that was soooooo gooooooood.

What is happening is just very sad. The development of the romance. Yui crying in the preview. I guess I'll rate it more than 7 after the next episodes.

Two pee moments in two anime this week, these anime are really getting two me...Anyway, ignoring that, I think it took a pretty interesting turn. Personality swapping is always interesting and Im either laughing or chuckling at it. The Mr. Go -> Heartseed stuff was intense, though I wonder who is ahead of him or if someone else is behind this little observation operation? Im glad it didnt get way more serious then that. Though in the lives of the characters I imagine there may be something going on, considering Iori seems to be all alone and the other Yui doesnt like her like that, etc.

Hopefully we get more moments with Aoki and Taichi or in this case Nagase

I'm actually fond of body swapping, gender-bending genre but I'm still enjoying this more than I thought I would. I thought this would be just a standard romcom with drama here and there.

I mean lines like, "If we lose the significance of our bodies because of body switching, will we still be ourselves?" and that whole conversation as a whole is completely out of my expectations.

This!

After the first episode I thought it was going to be some boring silly bland show similar to "Natsuiro Kiseki." But the show really has a deeper darker undertone to it. And the comedy seems smart and witty, not silly and clunky. I also like that the "phenomenon", the "heartseed", is treated like a conflict in the story and not some silly plot device. So I guess I can throw my presumptions out the window for now.

They have overtaken the translated manga. I have no idea what's coming after.

I only read four chapters of the manga to be honest and it was not explained in the maya either.
Tho she doesn't appear to have a disliking towards Taichi she does appear to have a major dislike towards Aoki can't really blame her seeing his personality.
She didn't specifically mention a dislike towards men she was just creeped out at the idea of having to use the toilet as one of them.
But it was mentioned in both the manga and in this episode that she was a expert at Karate maybe she took Karate as a way to defend herself from men.
As for the comment towards about Iori being alone at night in home, she was right a girl being alone at home by herself can be dangerous and it can't hurt for them to have somethings around to defend themselves with.
Besides woman can be scared when there alone even in places where men won't have a problem.

I think Taichi can handle himself when it comes to the class president.
And let be honest Iori and Taichi have a very friendly relationship and the would make a good couple it won't be surprising either if they where to have feelings for each other.

Oh, I wasn't referring to Taichi dealing with the class president, but to Taichi dealing with having to "pretend" he is in love with Iori. (wicked grin)

Class President obviously is attracted to the same sex, hence why Irori was so freaked out about what happened in Ep.1.

The Class President lusts after likes Iori. While in Taichi's body, Inaba declared love for Iori to the Class President, making it look to the Class President like Taichi loves Iori, in an effort to shield Iori from the Class President.

While Inaba's intent was to help Iori against Class President, there is room for speculation that Taichi and Iori may actually have feelings for each other that neither has expressed, so Inaba may have unintentionally set things in motion between those two.
