Just to ask, where did you get the figures you posted here from? They haven't been posted on the light novel sales threads on either 2ch or refugeechan yet, and the oricon website doesn't give figures for monthly rankings.

Yeah I've noticed iDOLM@STER tends to rank really high on Stalker but then the way they do their releases barely a month sometimes less in advance it kind of makes sense as there's more of a crush to preorder it but I guess we'll see. I was mostly curious because the last iDOLM@STER CD had consistently ranked better than the Printemps one but Love Live seems to be very storefront heavy or so I'm told. I've often noticed that a high Amazon music CD ranking doesn't necessarily seem to mean much at all a lot of the time because people will buy CD's in stores but not always anime.

The least popular unit in Love Live up against an ensemble Cinderella Girls TV final CD with a Blu-Ray next week, that could be closer than one might think, but then the idea of a Love Live disc doing any less than 50K week one and an iDOLM@STER one doing any better than 30K without a serious event ticket offer seems like a fleeting dream. Was curious about your insight as I've found the impenetrable wall of Love Live as it pertains to Anime music kind of fascinating. Apparently they even got invited to that big year end festival with the top artists in Japan, something I'm not sure has happened before for a strictly anime thing unless you count Nana Mizuki.

Hey Ejc. The list you provided for Top Selling TV Anime movies (by number of discs sold) was very informative and useful, thanks. I would like to know, do you have a similar list for non TV anime movies (like those from Ghibli)?

Also, is Spirited Away still number 1 or has Frozen surpassed it in number of discs sold?

I think you made a mistake in Tokyo Ghoul:re here. Someone pointed it out, and went and checked the weekly sales, and they are more than 1.1 million.

It's great to see all the Love Live! seiyuus we love getting more roles this year: Shikaco in DunMachi, Rippi in Venus Project, and so on. (I knew they were good seiyuus as well as singers! I'm going to watch some of these series just because of them.) Meanwhile Pile, Aya, and Emi are all going to appear solo at Animelo Summer Live.
