I guess I'm just disillusioned with anime these days. I want something that's entertaining, yes, but I ALSO want quality characterization and character development along with a solid story. But nope. As long as the main female is cute, the show is instantly anime of the season. Fuck, I'm an elitist. And I haven't even seen all that many anime when compared to other users on this site. I think the problem is more centered around the anime itself. Since they have to make the episode 24 (or something like that) minutes long, they have to stretch the jokes out a lot more to fit that time. Each chapter of the manga is around 9 to 10 pages long, which you can finish in 3 minutes. That is why I think the jokes work a lot better in the manga as they are shorter and more straight to the point. If this anime had instead been a 3 minute-short series. I think it would have worked a lot better making an episode per chapter. |

| I quite enjoyed this first episode. I barely read anything about this Anime before watching it, so I was a bit surprised by Hotaru's character and even Kokonotsu's. Sure there are a lot of clichés that appear again in this, but I somehow don't mind them as much as I would normally do. I accept that pretty much every comedic Anime won't ever really develop a love relationship, so I guess I can't be too disappointed on that front. The sexual suggestions won't stop though, I'm aware of that, I just hope they focus more on the story of getting Kokonotsu to be a candy shop owner. For me it's not the most hilarious Anime ever, but I feel the characters show a lot more personality than in other series and are a lot more recognizable. Sure that's probably because of the over-the-top behaviour, but I'd rather have that, than characters I won't remember at all in a week or so. Also this is a comedy, so it's not surprising. Designwise I like the style. It took me a while to get used to their eyes, but now I feel it does fit the characters, since I can't really take them seriously (when they're trying to be scary or whatever) with expressions like that. |

| Hmpf.. I fail to find anything interesting in this anime... it was just plain average.. or rather below average. Well, there is maybe Saya... but main heroine other characters are just weird. And uninteresting too. And I also didn't like a slapstick in here (which wasn't even funny). This is probably fail on Feel's behalf but this adaptation feels really luckluster. I think I'll pass this one. |

| The art and animation is surprisingly pretty good. The extra fanservice must have been to appeal to some audience as usual. There's no need to fuss about those stuff by now. I'd find it amazing to not see one for a comedy. Characters are interesting to me.. nice designs and easy to remember. Saya is cute when she blushes, hehhe. I already have a feeling I'm gonna love her. (//∇//) Kokonotsu will have a tough time if he's aiming for Hotaru hahhahaha. |

| Hmmf. In a comedic aspect, it's doing a good job. I mean, it hasn't gotten an authentic laugh out of me yet, but it's a kind of humor I appreciate. Also, hot damn, Hotaru is fucking beautiful and there's also a lot of sexual innuendo from her---with a girl that sexually suggestive, you hope to see something hot by the end of the series. Sorry, just being honest. xD Also, Saya is very cute, her giant zoned-out eyes are adorable. I wonder if the two are going to fight over him. I hope a plot develops eventually in this show. 5/10 |

| Pretty good start. Dagashi explanation was informative and different combination makes it better too. This reminded me of Shokugeki no Souma but with snacks. Both Hotaru and Saya is too good. Feels like Hotaro doing something lewd later on. More like Taketatsu Ayana acting was matured. I feel something different from her voice unlike Azunyan and Leafa/Sugu. 3.9/5 |

| I guessed this show not bad at all nor good yet. It just an average seems a bit standard anime. The music was pretty generic, but still easy-going to listen. The main idea of the story was new for me to watch, and i really eager to peek until it ends. So, i might enjoy this a bit. So i expect more interesting story in time-being. See you there on episodes 12. |

| We're off to a crazy start! Hotaru is insane in a good way and Saya is a kind of tsundere that feels new to me (I'm not that experienced with tsunderes). Good luck being a mangaka, Kokonotsu. Somehow I get the the impression that it won't be that way. :P The dakimakura swap, that was smooth! I think I'll enjoy this one. |

| 9/10 easy for now , taketatsu ayana as main heroine , fanservice everywhere , shes cute everywhere wich is hard to do since usualy theres frame where characters look ugly , also shes funny. So shes perfect for now ! I knew she was pointing at the candy and not the MC but i was hoping to be wrong 😅 I hope the anime will give us more misunderstanding for the MC and a bit of love story with hotaru Its a bit strange to have a tsundere in a show with ayana that isnt ayana , its like theres something missing 🤔 |

| Hotaru legit has the aura of a Monogatari Series character, I also love her eyes (you didn't do the style first, Fujimoto!!). I really like every single character so far Genuinely have no idea why this is rated so low despite its popularity, some MaL ratings are garbage after all. |
