THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Less than 15 minutes but I'm glad to see Gatchaman Crowds on screen again. The episode bought back the main cast and action. My favorite parts were the aerial flight/fight scenes as those really captured what super powers can do. This was more intense than I had thought. Hajime is also as energetic as ever! |

YAS, YAS, YAS, YAS, YAS, YAS!!!!!!!! Hype for season 2 confirmed xDDD At first I got a bit mad thinking it was going to be a recap but alas! Nice surprise with that episode. Great to see the cast once again. Loving Hajime-chan ♥ ♥ and seems this new season will be funny having those interruptions when Hajime fight lol Will be like "the little devil voice inside me" hahahaha And that "new alien and Gatchaman" !!!!! xDDDDDDDDDD I just have high expectations again for this new season...... just hoping I don't get dissapointed~ |

Was definitely expecting a Crowds S1 recap but that only lasted 3 minutes. Super excited for Insight after all of those power upgrades, Rui's transformation, etc. |

That had more excitement in 12 minutes than most shows have in 60 minutes. Fun introduction, new powers (teleportation), new gatchaman, the prime minister complaining about the cost of the jets, and Harime better than ever. Final scene, no idea but Sugane's younger sister? Same eyebrows, same figure, same hair. Intriguing suggestion there. |

I had forgotten how progressive Crowds was until seeing it again. Have hopes for another good solid season. |

Really good intro to the second season of the series, I did like the new Gatchaman tease at the end. What I'm interested in is what role Katze will play with Hajime, as we did see a slight change in her suit when Katze started speaking. |

Very fun, song at the end was nice too |
Let’s say you drink too much strawberry milk, and have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. You don’t want to get up, but the urge to urinate is just too strong! You run to the bathroom, stand in front of the toilet, and let loose! You think that all your life has led to this moment! YOU'RE STILL IN BED! That feeling of lukewarm wetness spreads! But you can’t stop! THAT’S THE TRUTH OF THE STRAWBERRY MILK! DO YOU GET IT? ~ Gintoki An unforeseen situation... An unexpected turn of events... In the face of those, you too will face your true self. — Makishima Shougo |

Just want to say this, but based off what Stark said, I think you all thought the Insight ONA was episode 1. If you go the homepage for the series, its listed in the related. |

Was this any worse than the first season or are my standards just higher? |

vodall said: Was this any worse than the first season or are my standards just higher? Neither. The purpose of this was to stoke interest for the second season, nothing more (calling this episode 1 is wrong, it was labelled as episode 0). So there was no real "plot" or "purpose" that you would expect from a series (or even an OVA), the only measure of a 0 episode is: did it make you want to watch the second season. If yes, then it was a great success If no, then it was a great failure There is no middle ground on this. For me this was nothing, I was going to watch the series no matter what, I admit that I am happy because I liked what this episode showed me, but I was not the target of this episode. This episode was meant to get people who did not watch the first season to give the second season a chance (which is why 40% was a recap). They will determine the true success of this episode. |

GATCHAMAAAAN! Everything so over the top... I LOVE IT! I don't like traps/cross-dressers... They annoy me. Usually. But Rui... So fabulous! |

Lets see if this season 2 will have more action this time, this series needs it. So Rui is a Gatchaman now and they will also introduce another one. |

Oh my goodness, this episode 0 got me so hyped for the 2nd season. It's great to see everyone again, especially Hajime and Sugane. xD Seeing Berg Katze still living within Hajime is interesting. However, Hajime seems to not mind his presence at all and even brushed him off. Rui being part of the Gatchaman team is such a good addition. He has her own Gatchaman suit and his teleport ability is really handy. I just loved seeing everyone work together again. Sugane's sword slice move that looked like a shuriken was badass and seeing Joe flowing around with flames was awesome. Seems like a new Gatchaman member was teased at the very end. Safe to say I'm really excited for the actual series! That ending song sounded really good too. Bird... go! 5/5 |

The best part of this was to see OD still being alive and well. Rui's transformation has an interesting power. Since it doesn't seem like JJ is teleporting them anymore, her power will basically replace JJ sending them to the necessary places. |

Wait. I thought OD died? I don't remember much. It's been a long time. Cool to see that Berg-Katze still exists within Hajime. At least I remembered that! And it seems that Hajime's breasts are even bigger, but maybe that's just me. |

GATCHAMAAAAAN~ They are back and I am so glad they are. I missed them :( Anyway good episode! But, I didn't remember Rui getting the diary-gatchaman powers. He seems like an overpowered support. And, we will have a new gatchaman? That silver/grey haired boy? |

If you just saw season 1 then this not being mostly recap was great but for me that i saw it when it aired and i was hoping to renew my memory this didn't help. I would actually have liked a more thorough recap so i can get into the new season without memory questions. |

Decided to start the year with Insight. Yes. That recap reminded us that JJ loves oppai. Rui still triggers me. Glad to see the oppai again. Bluetsutsu. :) What's Niigata? I could tell you, but.... :D Who could that be in the end? Tsuzuku! WHITE ASH! |

If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have). |

Eh, tbh it should've ended at Season 1 + the '13th episode' for that season. A second season seems bad at first glance, but I'll give it a shot. It's true that some characters need backstory, though.. such as OD and Hajime. |

Didn't expect OD to have this type of vacuum cleaner xD Rui's new powers presumably come from JJ, I guess? How are they combined with Crowds? Is this allowed in the universe? Given that Katze also had 2 NOTEs at some point, I guess it is. But if it's his power still...can he just revoke it at any moment if there's a sufficient threat? Also, a new Gatchaman AND a new alien? Funny note from the gatchaman wiki: The episode titles for this season have a double meaning, one states an event that is the episode focus while the other is a business marketing term that also deals with the episode's thematic elements. In the case of this episode, Inbound refers to an "inbound bogey", an Air Force term for an incoming target such as the hijacked fighter jets that tried to shoot down Prime Minister Suguyama's plane. In marketing, Inbound refers to inbound marketing, the utilization of internet content such as social media to promote a product. In the case of the episode, it is VAPE's death threat to the Prime Minister to advertise their organization's intent to end the Crowds. P.S. What's with that "Yack" lol |
