Chrno Crusade

Both are about an organization fighting monsters/demons. Both use religion as a base to build the story. If your into a dark story then both of these are worth watching.  

The main characters somehow came from kind-of religious organizations. Both fighting Akuma. In my opinion, watching Chrono Crusade is like watching the more colorful D.Graymen.  

The 2 thign are about chasing Youma(Akuma) or monster if its more clearly. Their exorcist who have to destroy something to gain somethings the same principe for most particulary anime .Have a nice day ^^ 

They both deal with the same basic principles in which there is a church and evil forces out to destroy the world and church. Both have very likable main characters and a good cast of side characters. 

Both are the same because in D.Gray-man they fight demons and have a arch nemesis who leads them all, and in Chrno Crusade they are fighting demons and/or devils and have a arch nemesis who also leads them all. Both are great action/comedy type Animes. 

these anime's have a part of religion in them, and they will bring God up. the main characters are essentially excorsists fighting demons. one of the main characters are both on the side of "god and satan" in a sense. 

Both of these involve exorcists and the feeling of the anime is very similar. The whole time I was watching Chrono Crusade I kept thinking about D. Gray- Man. Anyway, if you like one of these I'm sure you'll enjoy the other. 

"Chrno Crusade" and "D.Gray-man" share the same basic plot, in which an organisation fights monsters or demons, and both series also have a religious background. In my opinion, "D.Gray-man" is a bit darker, but both series have sympathetic main characters and the antagonists can also fight quite well. The drawing style in both anime is a bit different, but both are nice to look at from a visual point of view. As far as the BGM is concerned, neither of the two anime stands out particularly, but I personally like the selection of the Seiyū in "Chrno Crusade" a little better. Nice fun fact, the title "Chrono Crusade" would actually be the correct spelling, but a little mistake crept in and since the print was already finished, they left it at that. Both Chrno Crusade and D.Gray-man have a special organization fighting against demons. The art styles of both anime are similar, and Chrno is very similar to Allen Walker. There’s also religious undertones in both anime as well. Both are some of my favorite anime as well, so check them both out!  

While not the exact same, there are some similarities between Chrno Crusade and D.Gray-man. Both have a similar dark atmosphere that is lightened up with some comedy, and both anime have religious undertones and a similar art style as well. Not to mention that Chrono and Allen Walker have similar kind personalities as well! Both are worth watching, but Chrono Crusade is a bit better. 

Both main characters hold deep pasts and they have a sililar adventure/action genre 

These anime seem basically identical to me, for the following reasons: - Both focus on a tragic story between blonde brothers, in which one of them is trying to take the other back as he was before; - They share the same overused genres (action, drama, supernatural) and the same type of silly, unfunny, cliché comedy; - Both involve a military/religious organization that recruites "soldiers" to fight against the evil guys; - Both Edward and Rosette can be really polemic, combative, loud, and irritating. To sum it up, these anime have very similar characters, plot, mood, and style. 

Both animation have blood , wars , guns ,blonde charecters, good and evil or goood vs. evil. villlans , demons , a 1900 time line(or the same period of time). Both main charecters lost their parents and a brother.  

There's definitely a lot of things that made both of these anime's alike. It kind of has the same atmosphere, there's lots of comedy and at the same time things are taken seriously when they should be. They both have to do with a pair of siblings who lost their parents and one of the two happens to get injured in some type of way. As for the other sibling, he/she is trying to protect them by doing anything possible. Both of the protagonists are full of joy and always seem to be energetic and willing to learn more about the world and its secrets. At the same time they refuse to show their sad side to others. They also like to make a big deal of things and fight back when people talk about them. There's fighting scenes and lots of action, and twistt~ Overall, very enjoyable to watch :D read more

Both series revolve around a pair of main characters with dark backstories who joined a faction with the primary objective of searching for something that was taken away from them. They also have a fair share of religious themes and symbolism, although Chrno Crusade is considerably heavier in that department, and the endings to both series pass on a harsh message. Also, both adapt their manga counterparts with some liberties in the first half, then diverge into anime-only territory later. 

Some character's seem similar to the ones in Fullmetal Alchemist, there's a form of Alchemy in both animes as well. 

the two main characters in both anime are connected by a contract that their life is the price for it. and the time is a main factor in both anime. the relationship between the characters and the atmosphere are somehow the same. 

One obvious similarity between these two similarities is that both of the two main characters in the series are bound by a so-called "contract." And that the contractors' partners aren't human at all.  

They have a simmilar feel, simmilar plots (a human contractor and a demon bound together by a pact in which time plays a very important part and the contractor will probably lose his/her life if nothing is done to avoid it). They have a simmilar setting (with european influences, although Pandorea Hearts' seems a bit more old than Chrno Crusade's, which could be set in a ficticious 194X Europe). They have the same opaque animation tones. Also, in both the main boy is cheerful and easygoing, and the main girl is somewhat of a tsundere. 

Both humans are contractors, while being partnered with demon/chain. Both have great illustrations and quality. 

The main characters are bound by a contract that sucks up the life of the contractor when his partner use his power 

They both are similar as to the contracts and the contractors. [and the seiyuu junko minagawa is both animes! >.<] 

The contract part between Alice and Oz in pandora reminds me of Chrono and rossetto in chrno crusade.. however the pace of the anime only pick up midway through for pandora so for those planning to watch, you might be bore at first but its really not a bad anime.. Note : The way it ends for pandora reminds me of Flame of Recca... 

Chrno Crusade and Pandora Hearts both follow a human saving themselves by making a contract with a supernatural being. A ton of the characters are similar as well, and the animation/art style is pretty similar to boot. Chrno Crusade has more action, and is just an overall better anime. If you like Pandora Hearts, you’ll probably like Chrno Crusade, the same thing in reverse doesn’t work as well, 

Both series has similar darker tone to its story and presentation. Both of them are full with likable characters whom are making lots of funny scenes with each other when they are not busy with their individual drama. Both anime contains a charismatic villian who makes an everlasting inpression on the viewer. These two anime are manga adaptations. 

both anime main character Chrno and black cat betray in order to save the loved one's.both are old animes.  

These are pretty much animes cut from the same cloth. Similar art style, similar character development, similar themes. Needless the say I enjoyed them both. 

Both have pretty serious plot lines and involve guns (which is pretty epic). The antagonists both have white/silver hair xD 

In both these anime, there is an organisation against evil. Both anime start of with a plot that seems pretty simple but evolves into a story that is much more complex and filled with a variety of emotions. I watched black cat first and immediately fell in love with it. When I watched the first episode of Chrno Crusade it didnt take long to think that it reminded me of black cat. 

The anime "Black Cat" fits very well as a recommendation for "Chrno Crusade". Both series have a similarly dark undertone, but present themselves with likeable characters who do a lot of nonsense besides their actual "job". The antagonists are charismatic, so you can't/won't just call them the bad guys. Both anime are based on a good manga and also offer a respectable drama element, similarly structured in both cases, revolving around loved ones and betrayal. Also, the characters go through a very parallel development and the plots of the anime seem very simple in the beginning but then become more complex, especially as the stories fill up with more and more emotions. Furthermore, the drawing style is very comparable and both series are musically on a very good level, so that one can recommend both series as good entertainment. Both about Christianity versus Demonic Beings~ And both a slightly clumsy/cute demon with a mysterious past on their side.  

Similar theme and extreme analogies between characters. Both circle around nuns who fight the evil with overgrown weapons and that are friends with a doomed vampiresque form of life. 

Both deal with religion Vs devil type stories. Both rock my socks! 

Similarities between the 2 shows are pretty obvious : Chrono Crusade is about a demon, Chrono, and a nun, Rosette Christopher, working for a religious organization, fighting satanists involved in dark magic, and demons summoned by rituals. Trinity Blood involves a Crusnik (a "vampire to vampires"), priest Abel Nightroad, and a girl, Esther Blanchett, working for the Vatican to solve issues involving vampires. Even Rosette and Blanchett kind of share the same fate of becoming all so important somewhere in the story. 

Both have religious themes. They deal with the church fighting against demons. 

both series are about priests and vampires or demons who side with the church. both have main duo of nun & dorky fiend who seems ridiculous at first glance but is secretly a huge badass, and they are looking for someone very important.  

Both talk about a fight agains a powerful demon. ( Satan in Ao no Exorcist and Aion in Chrono Crusade). There are in both an organization which fight against a lot of of demons. True Cross Academy Exorcist School in Ao No Exorcist; and Order of Magdelene in Chrono Crusade. The main characters are demons who fight agains demons to protect humans. Both have comedy, drama and action.  

Both series involves the theme of exorcists fighting against forces of supernatural such as demons and devils. Both series also have contain drama, comedy, and action. Both series also have a similar feeling and style that brings entertainment to you.  

Both have comedy and the concept of exorcism and exorcists. Also, i like how both anime dont go in depth with romance. Lots of action with a twist of humor, if you like Chrono Crusade or Ao no exorcist, you'll love the other! 

This anime is similar to Blue Exorcist is quite a few ways. One of the protagonists is a demon, and there is an organization meant to combat demons that the protagonist chooses to join. The characters are a bit more religious though; instead of "Exorcists" there are "Sisters." 

Both series involve a heavy dose of the supernatural. Chrono crusade is about an exorcist named Rosette looking to free her brother from the clutches of a Devil named Aion, whereas Blue Exorcist is about a young man finding out he's the son of the Devil himself, and choosing to be an exorcist to combat his father. Both anime have a fairly serious story line, (with a nice sprinkling of humor), Chrono Crusade especially has in my opinion one of the saddest endings i've seen in an anime.  

I think it is similar because it includes fighting Demons, trying to defeat one main bad dude, ect. 

These anime have many similarities, especially because of their characters and overall style. Both Inuyasha and Chrono are long-haired, human-like demons who get in a powerful "full demon" mood when they need to fight; both Kagome & Rosette are a sort of reincarnation of the decaesed woman who was in love with the male protagonist many years before; also, both Sango & Rosette are involved in a tragic relationship with their brothers, since the latter have been brainwashed and passed on the evil side, and the sisters desperately try to take them back. Both series have a fair amount of action, drama, comedy, and romance. 

Although Inuyasha is longer, these two are somewhat a like. They both have to do with Demons fighting with Humans in order to save the world, or to obtain something powerful for themselves. Inuyasha=Chrono Kagome=Rosette The main characters help each other out whether it's fighting, cleaning up a wound, or just emotional problems. Either way, when they aren't together they still think about each other :] Both of the male characters had a relationship with a woman in the past that didn't work out and it affects both of them in the future, especially after they both meet a new partner that they can share their experiences with. They're going through the same steps as their previous relationship but now they have the option to change how the story ends. read more 

Both Series are dramatic. And are also about love between the main charactars.  

Both have tragic love stories about people that can't be together. Both also includes physical battles, but for different reason. The settings are historical, even though CC plays out in the beginning of the 2000th centry, and RxJ in the 1800th. Both have a super natural and fantasy touch. 

they both are about male&female fight vs evil, both with nice soundtrack and similar character but elemental gelade biggest + he have better end ;)  

Both have similar visual styles and kinda similar writing styles. And eventhough it's evident that they don't share the same music composer, somehow their soundtracks feel the same.  

Both have supernatural beings involved; Chrno Crusade with demons and Hellsing with vampires. They also use one superior monster to fight its own kind along with a blond haired girl who is bound to the monster by some sort of means. These two series also give off a "Christian feel" to them since there are religious phrases/prayers uttered when demolishing an enemy such as amen. In addition, there are scenes with churches, crosses, and priests. Chrno Crusade and Hellsing also use man-made weapons for battle (guns). 

in both, main character is a part of demon fighting organization, travels with a demon buddy, and seeks to turn their sibling back to normal. both series take place during the same time period around 1920s, in america and japan respectively. both have similar powerful and enigmatic main villain. 

Chrno Crusade and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood both revolve around two blonde siblings trying to make everything right again. The story in both are dark, but have humor to lighten things up. The characters are similar as well, with Alphonse being similar to Chrono and Edward to Rosette. Both are pretty good! 

While the storylines in both Chrno Crusade and Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagann are nothing alike, the two follow a similar structure. The first half of both anime are mostly lighthearted, but the second half is darker, while retaining some comedy. Some of the characters act similarly (especially Rosette and Yoko), and the vibe between the two are similar as well. Chrno Crusade might lack mechs and might be less over the top compared to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but it is still worth a watch. 

It has religious themes and military. 

Both animes invovled human making contracts with powerful characters such as demon in "chrno" and heros in myth and legend in "fate stay" for their own cause. Secondly, both are very captive where it will makes you look forward to the next espisde.  

They have a few themes in common, such as supernatural human-like creatures, action, romance, insane characters, and plenty of dramatic and tragic scenes, even though Elfen Lied is much more touching and disturbing. Also, both anime involve horns and a sad brother-sister story. 

Chrno Crusade and Mai Hime elicit similar emotions in the viewer. They both have heartbreaking stories and excellent heroines. Rosette and Mai are both strong-willed and desire to protect their little brothers and the other people they love.They combine the perfect amount of comedy and light hearted moments with times of despair. The coupling of happy episodes with tragic ones makes the emotional atmosphere in these shows that much more powerful. There are several epic moments in both as well as nuns haha. The same voice actor for Chrono and Nagi are in both shows. The shows were made around the same time so they have somewhat similar art and great OST's. If you enjoyed Mai Hime you would definitely like Chrno Crusade.  read more
