Ghost hunt is a not so groundbreaking show about exaclty what the title says. Ghost hunting (shocker I know). And yet this seemingly mediocre show changed completley how I consume media as it became my gateway to a world of horror. The show itself is not scary by any means, but thats what convinced me. Somehow seeing these group of 'ghost hunters' going around casually exorcising ghosts made me less scared of them. And considering how much I loved the show, i began dabbling more and more into horror supernatural type media, and really enjoy it!
Ah yes, poor mans one peice. Despite Fairy Tail's reputation, it being my first anime and all, holds a special place in my heart. Now when I look back in it, this is probably a show I wouldnt watch now, but BAcK iN thE dAy, boy oh boy. This show quite literally changed my life, by changing how I saw the world, the people around me, and life. I cant exactly explain how, but it just did. It was at that age where you start changin and growing up and you're very influencial, and I think if anything were to aid me growing up, Im glad it was fairy tail. Despite its sappy messages and plot amor, I think the overall message of the show is something to take to heart.
Black Cat is one of those anime that I found when I first started getting into anime and didnt really think about what I watched. Looking back its still a good show 100%, although a lot of it surely is nostalgia. However the way this show changed me is surpringly thorugh music. Creeds piano, to be exact. I had learnt piano for many years until this point bu never had I the urge to learn a peice until this show. And after that I realised, 'hey, if I can play this then maybe I can play other songs', and thus began my journey to actually enjoying piano.
One of the most influencial anime of our generation, I doubt it needs an introduction. For me rather than the show itself, it was a specific moment, a quote, that elicit change in me,

Its pretty obvious, what he said. But hearing that made me realise how many opportunities I let go just because I thought I wouldnt win. It helped me realise that, if you know you're not going to win you might as well fight because youd lose either way. At least now you have a chance to win.
Welcome to the Ballroom was a show I was not expecting to like so much. Whislt it did not spiral me down a pathway of elite ballroom dancing, it did however teach me the importance of posture and self presentation. After watching this show I realised just how important body language was. And now I always make it a point to straighten my back before any first impressions
Kids on the Slope is an anime about jazz, and drama. But what is taught me, was how to appreciate music. I had now a new love for piano. But thats it. This show made me appreciate different forms of music and isntruments by making me understand and respect te art of two things I didnt like. Jazz and drums. Until this point I genuinly thought drums had no talent. The how made me realise how wrong I was, and opened up my opinions to all forms of music and instuments.
LOL!!! I have some lines on my old screen too, but they just appeared one day and not from smashing, ... I'm glad you could upkeep your excuse of it being a virus though. Sometimes you also have to lie to yourself about things to cope with them - like sometimes I'll be finding something out aswell, be like "ahh... that's why.... " and then just ignore the fact I learned about it and keep going with another story.

Yes!!! I went to see the movie!! It was such a different experience to watch it in the cinema, it didn't have too many 3D aspects but some scenes did look pretty cool. Also hearing the soundtracks with the music boxes in cinema added a whole different vibe to it. I can definitely reccommend seeing this movie in a cinema lol, or well, just a pretty good setup for movies at home. I hope one day I have enough money to buy good music boxes, so I can have the whole cinema atmosphere (well, almost) at home... Movies like Dune for example or Interstellar or any type of good movie just need a good atmospheric room.. Do you get what I mean? LOL it's too late for me to be writing a reply but I felt like I was letting you wait for too long and it bothered me every week >< I finally managed to get on this site again -
I also was able to watch Spirited Away in the cinema, and god - it was such a great experience: It's one of my favourite movies by far and hearing Joe Hisaishis music in the cinema.. wow.. I cried. !!! Same with Suzume I think, last year? Great anime in cinemas is definitely worth going aswell. I can't describe my emotions. Maybe you understand (β₯οΉβ₯)!

Which gacha games do you play? I have tried to get into genshin impact when it first came out and played for a while but I quickly lost interest.. I recently tried to pick it up again but it didn't work out now either. Wuthering Waves has really caught me though! Well .. now I am too lazy to play.. but I really enjoy this game! The combat system is really to my liking. But I tend to always dislike the oversexualisation of female characters.. but can't get around that one I suppose.. Did you manage to learn some new piano songs? If so, which?? As for me, I don't play any instruments.. I have bought a guitar not too long ago, but I don't really know how to play. I want to get back into it though. I also would like to learn the piano, some anime soundtracks just sound so good on it!

I got them as a gift, actually! They were from some mystery box, I prefer Rarity actually :) But I love all the ponies, so I am okay with them aswell. MLP music is so good, especially the fandom makes amazing music. I still listen to it regularly aswell. My MLP arc has never ended, it just sometimes shows up more than other times .. ~~ LOL
Maybe one day you are in control of yourself and then you can get the code geass figure! I haven't watched Code Geass I think.. is it worth watching?
Ooo! Are you a huge Hatsune Miku fan? I used to be really into vocaloid in primary school and early middle school actually, still sometimes listen to it or watch MMD videos, it was a good time in my life lol, nowadays I feel like nobody really cares about Vocaloid anymore, I miss the fandom so much! It also reminds me of my Creepypasta phase because there were a lot of Vocaloid Creepypasta MMD videos ... I gotta watch them now....

It shouldn't be surprising that we'd like other anime because action/shounen are done very well compared to the romcoms/shojosei. It's a shame.. I dont think that's a late start. It's kind of why I have a semi-disliking of just having photos digitally. I tend to try and have some important pictures printed. Or I just upload them on every site possible or some USB sticks.. This is what I did with some art pieces - (kinda) - because since I used to use deviantArt ect. a lot, I had a lot of art rescued on there when my pc suddenly died. (Someone installed a trojan on it and then gave me the blame for it because I was a young kid, still mad about this. It was not me playing Animal Jam that got us the virus lol). But well good enough and I had my art backed up :) Same with some pieces left on Google photos and Facebook :'')
hahaha! I am glad you both are still friends! Yes, we got on each others nerves too after some days, so I'm glad we went home soon enough for anything to crush us. I will always stay on guard in some places, because better safe than sorry. I could never forgive myself if something happened and I wasn't there and at least tried to prevent it, you know? So people can laugh about my paranoia all they want. Eventually it will be useful.
À propos class trips: I kind of miss having them? I don't have the best memories of them, but the vibe that surrounded them is enough for me to miss them! Well, maybe one day I will have a big enough friend group (or well even 3-4 is good too) to go on some trips together and do stuff we like! Camping, campfires, hiking,... Oh alright yes, I totally understand. Initially I also rooted she was going to end up with Yuki the first time I watched it. I dropped it mid season 2 but then picked it up again because I wanted to watch the series with my boyfriend. This time I was fine with Yuki ending up with another girl and seeing Tohru as her mother.. but it kind of did feel squeezed in. I wish there would've been more romance aspects, because the show seemed more to be cluttered with backstories of the Zodiacs. I loved the anime, but it lacked in some.. things. I feel like some of the characters were actually really creepy? All of the adults in the show seemed to creep on minors and dated them. That's.. weird. Then, I totally understand Tohrus character and the way her trauma makes her seem like this overly happy, cheerful character. I mean I relate to her, really, I cried a lot on her backstories, but eventually it kind of seemed like she was just .. not human? But I don't want to hate on her, because she was one of my favourite characters.
Also since you dropped it you won't know about this so I will elaborate: The head of the family, Akito, is actually a woman and jealous of Tohru. She ends up stabbing Kureno and has also thrown Rin off the balcony and the end is just.. everyone forgiving her.. Like it's never happened.. This makes no sense either?! Well whatever.
Also I feel like the openings and soundtracks could've been better too. Enough about this though ##

I went with a friend!! I don't think I would be able to travel on my own.. maybe I could in a city or something. My main issue is the safety in the place I am staying, I am very, very paranoid. So being completely alone would probably worsen my paranoia and I would never sleep at all. Even staying with a friend I kept Towels rolled in front of the door and flinched at every unknown sound - Q_Q
But I still had fun, the beach was alright - it was very windy the days we stayed so the sand just ended up attacking us. Totally loving the vibe of beaches and the area around it though! I tried to see as many things as I could, i saw some cool birds and went to an aquarium - i LOVED seeing the turtles. I am obsessed with turtles - so this was my highlight. I even saw them in a park and yeah - happy me.
Going to the beach,we accidentally went the wrong route and walked forever through sand.. but it happens lol.
Hope you are doing great! My summer is over soon ~ this makes me really sad. I am not ready to go back to reality T-T so now I just spend my last days drawing stuff. How about you?

I have summer plans to go on vacation and hang at the beach (I'd rather not drop my destination lol)! It's my first vacation EVER, I'm very nervous especially about flying. But I'm sure it will be fine and I'll have tons of fun (ββ½β)β
The baby suppose to be due in January, but it could be February or December also. Which I wanted my baby to be born somewhere in those 3 months anyway. I'm a July baby and my birthstone in ruby, which is also my favorite. My 1st ultrasound is coming up, and I'm gonna find out if I will be having singleton or multiples. Most of my family do reside in London, but some lived in Birmingham and Manchester. I did move to America from the UK at age 7 I think. I have travelled to many different countries since I was little.
My fiancé is 9 year older than me & he happens to be a friend of one of my uncle. While I was in the UK for work, my uncle invited a house party at his place and that when we were officially introduced. We actually met beforehand due to work, but we weren't super close. But we started dating in 2019. It was long distance because I was living in Korea for work at the time, still also the pandemics happen, but because of work I was able to travel. I move back to America in 2021, and he himself was staying in America due to work, and he has a home here in America, so I move into his home a year after I move back to America. In September, I'm planning on moving to his home in London because our baby is due in January.

YEAH. I understand. I am totally in love with the girls characters designs, the artwork, the music as well. It's probably why I am watching it anyway. Sadly it is catchy in a way lol - I just ignore his existence, and then my life is good ~~
I went with a friend!! I don't think I would be able to travel on my own.. maybe I could in a city or something. My main issue is the safety in the place I am staying, I am very, very paranoid. So being completely alone would probably worsen my paranoia and I would never sleep at all. Even staying with a friend I kept Towels rolled in front of the door and flinched at every unknown sound - Q_Q
But I still had fun, the beach was alright - it was very windy the days we stayed so the sand just ended up attacking us. Totally loving the vibe of beaches and the area around it though! I tried to see as many things as I could, i saw some cool birds and went to an aquarium - i LOVED seeing the turtles. I am obsessed with turtles - so this was my highlight. I even saw them in a park and yeah - happy me.
Going to the beach,we accidentally went the wrong route and walked forever through sand.. but it happens lol.
Hope you are doing great! My summer is over soon ~ this makes me really sad. I am not ready to go back to reality T-T so now I just spend my last days drawing stuff. How about you?
I just finally completely finished Fruits Basket, I really enjoyed it. At some times I really had to cringe though. Have you seen it? Before I spoiler anything talking about it ^^"
The other day I was able to visit some online friends! And managed to grab two anime figures- Yor Forger and Nero Claudius //w// Very happy to slowly see my collection grow. i only have 4 figures as of now, but we are getting there, ok!!

I remember forcing myself to eat terrible store bought sushi until I liked it lol and then when I had actual good sushi for the first time i was so mindblown.. I love it so much. Ever since I try and make my own but it's still not as good as real sushi TT_TT
I'm soooo glad I'm not the only one to watch shows in 2x speed, sometimes I do it because I just want to see what all the fuzz is about on some shows LOL

I'm going to most likely watch the 2nd season of ONK aswell, even though I'm not fond of what the anime is going for. I really dislike Aqua and the whole reincarnation thing and the weird sister complex and him being surrounded by tons of girls and bla ... but I really love the music, art style and character design so hence.. I will probably watch it.
I prefer to watch completed shows mostly - sometimes I do look forward to currently airing ones too - but I tend to forget they exist because I forget a new episode was released and vice versa and then I just forget to check and .. yeah. I try to keep up though lol.

I have summer plans to go on vacation and hang at the beach (I'd rather not drop my destination lol)! It's my first vacation EVER, I'm very nervous especially about flying. But I'm sure it will be fine and I'll have tons of fun (ββ½β)β
I can definitely reccommend Modern Family to you, I've almost finished season 11 now and I'm sooo sad, I don't even know what to watch after it. It's so fun, the characters are lively and, keeping up a show for 11 seasons and still have it be enjoyable really is difficult LOL

yes, right?? I also feel like a lot of anime aren't as good or humourus anymore, hence why i stick to the ones that i know are. Currently I made myself watch other ones as well though, especially because i'd like to keep up a bit with what's currently airing, so im not totally out of date with everything.
thank you :) I get lazy every once in a while though, but i'm glad when I learnt something that it sticks in my head. I more wish I had this skill with mathematics and structural thinking lolol
you saying your most complicated sentence reminds me of modern family - in which they travelled to france and mitchell only made "huh ho hm aruhru" sounds and everyone believed him to be french. I dont know if you know the scene, its funny though
