I just finished the Waking the Dragons arc! Time for the final season ;(

haha yep. That's why I'm rewatching Yu-Gi-Oh! first
ever-green Apr 6, 2017 5:39 AM
haha yeah I am XD it's so nostalgic. TBH I don't think I finished the 5th season when i was young cause I don't remember the yami vs yugi duel.

hmmmmm... fav arc? I've got to say maybe Duelist kingdom? Do you have a favourite?

Hey

I might give 91 days a miss then. I watched the first couple of episodes of Mob Psycho 100. The unique art style was surprising, but I think I'll stick with it. :D Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi there fellow aussie XD

How are you going? Why thank you kind sir! The same can be said of you haha XD I am in dire need of revising the favourites section though. It's been a while. xD

I noticed on your list that you're currently watching 91 Days? How's that one so far? I'm not too sure if I should pick it up.

You would think we'd all get used to watching stuff as it airs and learn to be patient, but nope. We never get used to it and always want all the eps straight away. It is annoying having to wait when you're liking the series so much, but on the other hand, having to wait makes it more satisfying and exciting when the next episode finally arrives. It gives you something to look forward to.

Oh well, maybe next year.

As someone who waited for the Supanova screening to watch OPM, I know that feel. Spoilers everywhere, from my friends, from Tumblr, from forums, etc. By the time I was watching it, I already knew a lot of the jokes. It was still great though, the entire crowd was in hysterics at some funny moments.

Speaking of Supanova screenings, the friend and I did end up going to the Food Wars screening. I can see why the fanservice is so controversial, but I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously. I've heard great things about how it gets later on, so I'll watch the rest as soon as I finish frantically marathoning Yowapeda before the movie is shown here.

Yup, region-free player. It's a great idea if you're an anime fan outside the U.S. With the deals you can score buying the region 1 releases on sale, the player pays for itself pretty quickly. And then there's cases where the U.S or U.K got a nicer release than we did, like a limited edition when we only got a standard edition, or Blu-ray when we only got DVD. But yeah, the inability to share it with people can be a bummer. I've had friends ask to borrow my DVDs but couldn't as they didn't have anything that could play a region 1 disc. There's also the issue that, should your player break down, the discs are useless until you get a new one.

Haha, my friend joked that he wouldn't lose me in the crowd with my "bumblebee costume". Darn, maybe next 'Nova then. Are you planning on going to the Gold Coast 2016 one?
I didn't see the Effie myself, but I saw some photos on a Facebook group. She pulled it off really well.

I did plan to watch it at first, but lost enthusiasm when I saw it was 2-cour. I prefer to wait until a series has finished airing if it's over 20 episodes. A friend who I'm going to Supanova with marathoned it a couple of days ago and is telling me I should definitely watch it now that it's finished, and lo and behold, there's a screening happening at 'Nova. So we'll probably go to that.

I really wanted to get a photo with Nick Frost, but RightStuf's holiday sale has taken a nice chunk out of my Supanova budget, so I'll have to pass and hope he comes back another year. I'm sure his seminars will be funny though.

I haven't listened to all four chapters in full yet, but I've heard a few tracks on their own. I've got mixed feelings on the more drum and bass-style sound. It sounds awesome in its own right, but I prefer Celldweller's full-on industrial stuff. Good L_ck (Yo_re F_cked), End of an Empire and Just Like You are my favourites out of what I've heard so far.

Sweet, who are they?

How was Shokugeki no Souma in the end?
